Projects brought to you by Mr. Brown

A quick update from the project tent.

I cut back the Shit moms and took a cutting from Shit #6B aka 'Shittie Smalls'. I will grow her after Skunk Haze #1 has finished.

Keep the Shit

A second round with Shittie Smalls? Woohoo! I'm looking forward to watching you dial her in.

Have you managed to make her last and if so, has she evolved over time?

I grew Shit #5A and Shit #6A the last time and they definitely getting better over time

This will be the first run of Shit #6B aka 'Shittie Smalls'. She was so small that I didn't know if she would make it

Now it's her time to shine :)

spinosad is fine, just dont use it outside... not good for bees... i use it inside too in combination with preventive mite releases (cucumeris or orius mites for thrips for example). with IPM its a constant thing especially if you have a libary you need to release beneficial mites and apply ipm regularly.. looking forward to your project Mr Brown!

The next update from the project tent.

My bonsai moms recover nicely. The leaves show no sign of sucker attacks (y) Only the 'Shittie Smalls' cutting doesn't look like she will make it :(

Keep it green

Keep the clone (Shitty Smalls) going until you know it’s dead. It might just be struggling for whatever reason. Maybe trim a leaf off, the worst looking one, or the lower branch sites, so she can put more energy into growing roots than keeping leaves alive?

Thanks for the advice @Fish 🙏

I cut of the bigger leaves and will give her the chance to grow roots as long as she needs (y)

Or as @longball said: 'It ain't over, until it's over!'

Let her shine

I took a cutting from the Skunk Haze #3 (m) and Shit #6B (f) to let them flower along the Black Widows.

My plan is to start a little pollination project with all these beauties and the remaining pollen from Shit #5B (y) Hoping for 2 Black Widow girls and 1 boy.
Black Widow x Skunk Haze #3
Black Widow x Shit #5B
Shit #6B x Black Widow
Shit #6B x Skunk Haze #3
Shit #6B x Shit #5B

Actually the thread from @Ptree inspired me to try to cross Black Widow with the Skunk Haze male (y)

Let's make some seeds

@Mr. Brown I am so excited to see how your project comes out! Is there a cross you most excited about and do you have an idea of what you would like to come out of the cross?

I'm relieved to hear you don't see any spider mites.

I fell in love with the Skunk Haze and l'm really curious what it brings to the table

I'm most excited to see what the Skunk Haze adds to the Shit. In my world with very limited experience the result should be something like 75% Skunk / 25% Haze and I hope the Haze loosens up the heavy high from the Shit a little.

We will see where this journey takes me.

Have fun growing
