hey badrabbit thanks for the comments m8 .. these 2 pheno's are very nice and i will run them both for a while yet
its nice to watch them develop on this clone run its a learning process for me seeing how they develop compared to the seed run
i was a little worried the orange angel would not be able to keep up with the other plants.. mainly the flav so i topped the others and left the orange untopped
the orange has filled the space well she starts off growing/looking very indica like, medium fat leaves with very close inter-node spacing lots of thick bottom branching, she looks like she will be an indica bush,
but once flowering is started, the middle branches all shoot straight directly upward getting pretty tall around week 2/3 of flower
these middle brances become as tall as the main cola they also side branch/fork out a fair bit making lots of side branches overall for bud ,
the lower branches stay short and fat, and don't shoot up at all its a pretty strange shape and plant overall ..
the colas seem to develop more stacking type buds with lots of pink pistils, while the lower branches made rounder indica looking buds without the pink pistils
on the next run of orange i am going to let it get a bit bigger in veg and top it so it will make even more colas shooting up to the top as i wont have the flav anymore to worry about size issues
the skunkhaze has really become a nice smoke the very distinct incense/haze smell and creamy taste have become so moreish , this plant smells skunky in early flower and grows like a skunk plant , pretty thin sativa leaves and long floppy branches , with buds that develop early at first nice fluffy pine cone look to them
no real hint of skunk in the flavor its very much on the haze side of flavor , i chopped it at 9 weeks on the seed run, i think this pheno could of gone a week or two longer , i am happy with it at 9 weeks although i would like to see if it improves at 10 or 11 weeks
at 9 weeks the orange pheno seems very mature the cylax were very swollen and pistils mostly brown the orange could maybe even be taken at 8 weeks rather than giving it longer, judging from the seed run
looking forward to seeing how they both turn out

Anyway, great inspiration for me. I have a pack sitting there in my fridge and I can only hope for two such fine keepers, thanks again for the updates.

Lol i wish i had the space m8 .. so many strains/phenos i want to explore

the orange is starting to catch up in bud development she very much matures from the bottom up she is a slow starter but a quick finisher
i have also managed to get the flav out of the way of my skunkhaze and i am happy she will have enough light to develop now
i have given them the largest thinning out sofar, virtually all of the large leaves have been removed leaving the medium sized and smaller leaves only,
the thin branches / shoots have been removed from the bottoms and the middle , they grow alot of stringy useless crap inside them, i remove all of this too,
only the strongest growth remains
now the light and air are getting through nicely and bud is developing nicely allover the largest branches
i think i have removed enough weak growth and leaves now, hopefully i can leave them alone and wait for them to develop nice colas
i seem to be struggling a bit to keep them at EC 2.0 they are eating the food and drinking so quickly i am topping them up with food every 2-3 days
they are between EC 1.8 -2.0 most of the time
i don't think this clone run will be any quicker than the seed run
the colder nights now 60-63f they develop a little bit slower during the winter ..and may go a bit red/purple
so i still think i am looking at 9-10 weeks ,same as with the seed run to reach full maturity

Too bad you didn't pick up a week on the clone run skunkd0c, but then again, 9/10 weeks ain't too bad for hybrids of that quality and yield with mango haze influence in them.
Half the indica dom's on the 'market' are promoted as 8 weekers but really need 9 or more anyway ....

too true m8 even my afghan #1 was 8-9 weeks when it was sold as a 6-7 weeker
i am really happy overall the orange is the biggest in the room now i was worried she would stay too small compared to the others
i had to set the height / veg time of all of them by my largest plant the flav as they are all in the same space .. i couldn't let the flav get any taller than 8inch in veg or it would of ended up 8 ft tall
next time round without the flav, i will be able to veg the angels more before i flower them as i can see topping will help the orange i would like to see it grow with a larger bush type shape with more colas

Week 4 update
They are all maturing at very different rates, the Jamaican grape is an early starter and develops colas from the offset, followed by the flav and the skunk haze,
the orange has just finished stretching and has started to give off its lovely sweet orange hash smell
im sure i will be keeping the orange for sometime to come the smells and taste are top quality
i have some seeds to start after this run, i will be interested to see how the orange stacks up against , Blues from underground originals / Biker Kush from karma genetics and Eisbaer from alphakronik

hey thanks sensi, i have removed alot of leaves 2 grocery bags full lol
the angels do not fight it which is less work for me,
some strains will grow the leaves straight back in a few days so i have to remove them again 2 or 3 times,
i try to just keep the strong growth and remove the weaker growth throughout the grow , making sure the light and air can get in and around all the plants evenly
the orange had lots of large almost pure indica like fan leaves that i removed along with weaker shoots and thin branches , the structure of the orange would benefit from topping i will be able to top them next time
i think it will take me a few harvests to find out what is best for the orange her sporadic stretching patterns make her a little more tricky to work with, at first she seems pretty small and compact, very tight inter node spacing and a nice fat trunk, once flipped the middle branches just shoot directly upward climbing and side branching out like the plant has turned into a sativa, funny plant / growth patterns
the skunkhaze pheno has a much thinner trunk and is a floppy typical skunk / superskunk looking plant with a pure haze flavour she grows in a more predictable / open shape she needed much less removing of leaves her leaves are much thinner
i removed all the crap from the bottoms, that weak growth gets little light, and the fans blow air in at the bottom any growth there would get battered by the fans anyway

What an exceptional thread this is. Got two Angel Hearts that just broke through the ground about 10 hours ago. Your Mango Haze pheno is just cool to look at brother. How's that turn out?

Thanks m8, the mango pheno was a great yield, but not my favorite smoke
the orange pheno is easy the best smoke of the angelheart

week 6 all is going well, the weather has picked up so
temps have increased a little which is good
The orange pheno is starting to look very pretty now
showing her many colours , pink orange yellow, and white pistils all popping out of densely swollen large light green stacking almost leafless calyx clusters that have turned white with the frost of crystals that cover them
