The SilverHazed Mind.

Looking forward to what phenos you will find in the SSH!
As am I. I won't always be able to puff on Medicine Man, hence the infamous Super Silver haze. I'll need my Super Silver Haze for the Daze. :sneaky:

It was very difficult to decide between Super Silver Haze and Mango Haze. I've heard such good things from everyone about Mango. In the end, the SSH won out because of how long I have wanted to run it. The only other plant I've wanted to run even longer is Black Widow. Between the Haze and Widow to light my day I'm golden.

:ROFLMAO: Too true. Trust, I have a straw. ;) Next run will be testing the keepers from this round and a fast flowerer or two. I'm currently thinking on Ortega, Shit, Spice and Masterkush Skunk. It gets bone dry during the winter. Best time to test these quick flowering varieties. You have me so tempted to throw in a few Mango's.:sneaky::geek:

That #10 looks very promising!
Once they are mature a stem rub should give you an idea what to expect.
I'm already getting a little generic "green" smell with a tiny bit of skunk. I think I smelt something like Frankincense mixed with burnt rubber, the other day. It is still faint but is there. These are older than they appear anyways. I am excited to have a pheno which is compact but has leaves that are a bit thinner and longer. I wonder if these traits will carry over into flowering? It would be neat to get a compact plant with "sativa" styled leaves.

Anything is possible.🤞

I did remember having a fast pheno, it was more sativa in appareance and did not stretch much.
Had smaller, rock hard buds en they smelled like onion.
It was ready in 8-9 weeks.

Greetings.

Sounds like a solid pheno. I'm finding thinner fingered plants with my SSH than I am my Black Widow. This intrigues me. 😄

I'm hoping in 2-3 weeks to take clones from the bansai mothers/fathers.

The Super Silver Haze are thriving! The entire straw survived the onslaught of user errors inflicted by yours truly. There is even one standout of interest, SSH#10. He/she is by far the shortest of stature with the largest and thinnest fingered fan leaves. Very compact, it will be interesting taking a clone. No preflowers yet.

First a photo of the tent.

Once they get a bit bigger, I'll take clones for flowering.

Good work you really turned that one around for the better!

@musashi, since I'm going to rock some fast flowering indicas next run, I was thinking how much fun it would be to do a side by side of Ortega vs some Northern Lights from another source.

It could be fun, what does Everyone think?

The Mango Haze may have to wait. 😅

The Silver Haze's IPM treatment will continue later tonight. I had suspended it due to their previously fragile state. Now that they are all growing at Breakneck speeds, I will use my newly aquired hand pump pressure sprayer and Azamax to make sure they are pestulant free.

Btw, they are showing the most leaf variation in the tent out of 4 chemovars, 3 being from Mr. NICE; SSH, MM and BW.

Truly I am #Shantiblessed.

Here are some pictures taking clones today or tomorrow. The SSH are beginning to show preflowers, so I'll likely wait until tomorrow to have the most declared males before taking a clone. I have side by side and individual pics of SSH#2 and SSH#12 to show some of the pheno differences.

SSH#2 is practically a single cola with no side branching, where SSH#12 has aggressive side shoot growth. SSH#2 seems great for SOG, where SSH#12 would thrive with SCROG.

I hope you all enjoy the pics :geek: . I know I'm not the best at regularly posting them.
