Hempy dont kno shit about haze ,He knos Nevilgot his haze in the US n which city ,he might have grown a hybrid or 2 but i havnt heard nor seen his experience with pure haze stock .That luney toon is luck if he kno's wat today is.he must hav tripped on more than trippin weed

For the last time NYC haze is not grown outdoors ,NOBODY EVER SAID THAT

The gentlemen you are speaking too, Hempy and Scorpion, are both great growers who are knowledgable posters on this forum. Both have participated for many years, and like ourselves, have taken an interest in the background history of some of their most favorite varieties. A little bit more of respect is in order I believe for these folks. I am sure neither of these men would post anything without have a very good reason for doing so. :cool:

I might add coop,that Early Haze,Early Queen,Early Skunk will all have plants that will work very well at 45...but they may not Finish

I heard a rumor, that people in New York were buying haze seeds from as far back as the mid '80s and growing them indoors. Possibly even selling that cannabis to people...Do you think there is any truth to that?

I also heard there was quite a bit of marijuana from other countries in New York, considering its a port city and a mecca of people from all over the world. Some of that cannabis is from countries were Sativa varieties are common. Do you think there is any truth to any of this as well?

I suppose one could speculate to that.
I have a close friend from NY...Long Island,and he has been out here since late 80's and he told me on many occasions that he never smoked anything like the old NL5xHaze bfore he left NY so I can only go by what he and his numerous family members have said"

The shit I used to have...I would venture to guess that NYC has about everything that can be sold.

Thanks for the reply, thats interesting! I hear all kinds of crazy rumors, who knows if they are true though? For example, another rumor I heard was that the Haze everyone talks about, the haze that everybody wants, the haze that is so legendary, actually comes from Nevil Schoenmakers. Apparently, since Nev won the High Times Cannabis Cup with Haze varieties and shipped them off to all corners of the world for many years, that there is this notion his Haze varieties are in fact the real deals. The ones the legends are based off.

And an even more strange twist to this rumor, is that with the popularity of High Times and their efforts to push the High Times Cannabis Cup, that Haze became astronomically popular. Particularly the Seed Bank haze, which can now be found today here at MNS.

Just need to clear up the airy part there ,,
its true some sativa is quite airy ,,
especially when grown out of their climate ,
In their climate we see plenty of chunky tight buds ..

Even down as far as kanga they grow tight , ask him if his sativas are airy ??
 
there r more sativas outdoors than indicas (worldwide)

also a lot of sativas are beeing grown outdoors even up the 50 lat, and also most of them finish in time

bringing the subject from haze to sativa is contraproductive, as we speak of the origins of haze ... which in my estimation is a tropical variety ;)

sure we could talk about outdoor sativas beyond the 45 lat, but in another thread .... plz

the whole world is sativa, simple as that :D


also by switchin issues from grower to plant means only one thing, you neglect yourself in your craft ... which in my opinion is a really poor verdict of oneself

as i wrote somewhere up, nothing is impossible utilizing the right thing in the right time to make the impossible possible ... ;)
