Projects brought to you by Mr. Brown

There is no happiness without sadness :(

That happens when you leave town for a couple of days and a friend forgets to water your bonsai moms :(
That happened to me, or a variation, my 2nd grow. I lost some luscious tops. We lived in the same fucking house even. All the guy would have had to do was to go down to the basement, open the cab and look in on the plants, allowing more air exchange, and the mold would not have taken hold. I think that there was more to it than that. Its been about 15 years now, but no, I'm not completely over it. I was just dumbfounded that the guy couldn't be bothered to you know... actually try... at all. Only to say: I feel your pain,.

That sucks...best to build a little SIP or invest in some Autopots to bypass that issue. I've lost a real hash dumper last year.

Had to pack up things for a while at that time and had to gave the mom into friends hands who also grows, all he would've need to do is water her, cut himself some clones and watch the magic unfold.
I literally advertised her properties.
She was delivered in a 10L fabric pot.
All she asked for? Water.
There are guys who would have paid top dollar for such a cut and dude didn't even manage to keep the mom alive...like literally incapable of the most basic move.
Human ignorance is how many good things are lost...but it would be great if you could manage them to come back to life.

Human ignorance is how many good things are lost...
Not to knit pick, but I think that it is more human laziness. The cumulative impact of that from a cognitive standpoint is such ignorance. Whether it is growing herb or some other thing, that requires the investment of self, it is an uphill battle to get most people to try. I firmly believe that anything means more when we actively invest ourselves into them. That, unfortunately, does not seem to be the Zeitgeist of our times.

Most people would, by extension, rather pay too much for some mediocre finished product from said cherished cut. Rather than do anything required to grow, let alone cure it.

Being able to face the sort of thing, that Mr. Brown just experienced, or that you describe, requires a certain resilience of spirit, that is one step even further beyond such people. That just makes it that much more valuable and I firmly believe that cultivating it can extend into other parts of one's existence too. I guess it is always a question of how much of yourself you are willing to put into a thing though. People tend to be not only too lazy, but also too nihilistic for that. I think that people forget that things only mean as much as we are willing to invest meaning in them.

Many of us have been there. It is very disappointing when others who don't understand the investment and importance, let you down. So many are just not conscious these days. There are still a lot of trustworthy ppl out there tho. But the maxim, "if you want something done right..."

RIP bonsai moms 🪦

Obviously they didn't make it :(

For the next time I got a micro drip system for a maximum of 5 plants. Hopefully that helps to save my future bonsai moms ;)

I grasp at every available straw to save 'Shittie Smalls'.

After the harvest I pruned the roots and planted the remaining stump in a new coco/perlite mix.
