Mango Haze - Indoor Organic Coco LED

Fair warning I am not the best at smoke reports, describing smells or tastes very well..

The fresh herb smells like pepper and spice in the jar with a very very subtle sweet undertone. The taste on inhale / exhale is mild to nothing, would probably get more from vaping but I don’t have my brother’s Volcanoe near by.

Unfortunately I rolled this joint too tight and it keeps going out. I’m not sure if the harshness on the back of the throat is now from me relighting this or just the way it smokes. It’s definitely making me cough when I take a good hit and I don’t normally cough.

Effects wise I do find it’s got me hyper focused on this smoke report. I myself have a scrip for ADHD meds (I don’t use cause they keep me up) so you could say I have focusing problems. I do remember this strain helping me dial in on my first person shooter video game on past smokes and getting personal bests for total kills in a game.. I’ve smoked some Sour Deisel in the past that had me similarly locked in, when at a bachelor party I became the hero of the day for how badly I was destroying the other team in beer pong /
Various drinking games! That is pretty exciting that I now know I have this much cheaper medicine readily available in the closet that from what I can remember also helped improve my sleep quality. When I smoke the Pink Kush mentioned in this thread that is one big negative, despite it having couch lock potential it seemed to give me a worse quality sleep that leaves me with a headache in the morning. Mood wise this Mango Haze #7 the 15 weeker definitely is impressing me. I had plans to smoke much more of this joint but it keeps going out and I’ve realized I’m much higher than I expected! The cure has done this girl very well!!

Mood wise I do feel uplifted. I have a history of having panic attacks and paranoia after certain sativa leanijg hybrids. This one has me feeling like I remember people describing super silver haze. It feels like you’re about to be shot off to the moon, potentially go of the deep end into a panic attack BUT you still feel far enough from the edge that you’re not actually THAT worried. The indica in it holds you back enough that you’re still at an okay level of chill where you can just enjoy the adrenalin coming from the anxiety that is there or the increased level of anticipation. Okay I feel like I might be writing one of those @musashi posts where what he’s describing sounds epic because you know the bud has him in a great place, and that’s how I feel. It’s definitely a more edgy buzz to it. I’m being called back to husband duties. Going to have to add to this later! 💪

The come down was nice. I’ve been watching some videos on YouTube, entrenched in the content, very much enjoying myself. The herb is making the experience even more enjoyable, interesting and entertaining than it would be sober, for sure. I’m not sure if I’d say the strain is energizing cause I’ve been on the couch a lot, but my mind certainly was active. The bud is certainly out of my system now as I never went back for seconds but overall great experience. I take back the comment I made earlier about not necessarily being impressed. Yes I only really have the one pheno to judge by, but I’m a big fan of the Mango Haze 💪💪! (Oh and as with most cannabis for me, it came with some munchies!)

Nice one !!!
I really appreciate the time you spend to write such a nice and informative report.

I had very similar experiences with various Kush phenos. I will personally call them or categorize them, more commercial recreational strains , no medical strains and yes I get the same effect no good sleep and headaches in the mornings.
and yes Mango haze is pure medicine for me to.

@PtreeCi the go to munchies at night time are usually ice cream, chips, candy basically whatever that’s in the house that’s worst for me! The decreased will power while high is a major factor for needing to take a break from the ganja soon! I’m about 80lbs overweight at the moment and some sobriety is gonna be necessary to shed the lbs!! At least some intermittent breaks, maybe use smoking as a goal to motivate the weight loss. Every 10lbs lost, get to spark one up! (Could easily shed 10 a week at first, then every two if going hard at the weight loss goal).

Back to the purple pheno Pink Kush. This just came in the male today!!
1D211B3E-181E-4E00-9758-65EDACA78977.jpegGonna be supplementing some UVB the final 4-5 weeks of flower. Excited to try and pull out some extra frost / terps!!

Day 21 of flower (12/12 lighting) for this purple pheno Pink Kush plant. I have the Electric Sky ES300 V3 dimmer switch full blast and as you can see in the photo the plant is loving it!

Can see trichome development starting AND as I defoliate I can already start to smell some of the sour grape smell that I fell in love with on my hands afterwards! My UVB bulb showed up a few days ago and the light fixture it will be going into will be here Monday. I think I’m going to start with 1 hour a day supplementing with the UV on Day 28 of flower. If they tolerate it well then I’ll bump it up to 2 hours a day for the rest of flower starting Day 35.

Humidity right now is floating around 60-64% with 59-63% seeming to be their sweet spot based on the praying.

At what point would you folks recommend throwing the dehumidifier in there to get humidity low as possible? I have read that it’s best to get it low as possible to stress the plant into pumping out more trichomes but not sure what week people typically start with it..? I think with the UVB supplementation this round I’ll maybe go a little less extreme with how low I drop the humidity compared to past grows.. whatcha think??

Last 3 weeks of flowering and keeping it at 40-45% always gave me good results indoors.
You can go extremer with some individuals but most benefit(trich production and swelling of trichs) from these conditions.
When I lower the humidity I tend do decrease the direct airflow (fans) to the plants a little bit. Especially when temperatures are higher.

Thanks Swifty, sounds like good advice to me!

I’ve never had such a smooth grow.. knock on wood it continues! Can’t wait to see the results, weight and quality wise if it does continue.

Even while the UVB light is on, these girls are praying away! I’ll take some of the creidt, as I have the environment dialed in this go around. At least for this specific plant. LED is blasting a full 330 wats drawn from the wall, my first time getting the dimmer full blast without upsetting the plants. Humidifier keeping the humidity from dropping too low, she likes it between 56% and 62%. Dehumidifier keeping it from getting to high (at night and after waterings), really trying to keep humidity below 60% (even tho she’s happy at 62%) to avoid potential bud rot and powdery mildew.

Added a second fan to increase the airflow in the closet, again in attempt to prevent mold / mildew / bud rot problems when the humidity does creep up. Plant has been praying almost every day, all day. Drinking lots of water, and leaves showing no signs of nutrient issuse so far! If she continues to tolerate the UVB light for an hour each day I’m going to lower the LED a bit and see just how much ☀ she can handle cause the light is quite high right now..
