Mango Haze - Indoor Organic Coco LED

Well…. This bud has been a rollercoaster!! By far the most sativa I’ve smoked in a while. Smell wise this girl had the most mangoy smell of her 3 mango haze plants. Taste wise there wasn’t much but I think these girls dried out way too quickly and lost lots of terps and hurt any chance of a smooth smoke. Unlike MH#7 this girl seems to have the complete opposite effect on my attention.. I’ve been trying to complete this smoke report for 30 minutes now. At the start it was very very trippy and racy. Racy almost to the extent described in a prized Angel’s Breathe pheno described to hav an almost orgasm inducing body buzz. I smoked half this point and I could see someone reaching that level if they smoked enough of this. The racy wore off in the first 30 min. It has a very time distorting effect, something I haven’t experienced since smoking some high school flower. Quite enjoyed this buzz, and had my environment been different I could see this being an amazing buzz for a number of reasons. Again the time distortion is really trippy, I feel like time is moving ultra slow… such a strange experience I haven’t felt in years! Anyways I’m gonna wrap this up. My body feels relaxed but my mind completely energized. I feel more creative and there was a brief introspective period as well. Anyway time to finally get back to focusing on the football game!

This pheno gets ✌thumbs UP!

- (coming back a couple hours after originally posting) This was a really fun buzz, definitely some of the headiest stuff I’ve smoked in a while. However, surprisingly no anxiety or paranoia, just a bear paychodelic effect with none of the bad stuff that usually goes along with it, for me at least.. very intrigued by this plant!!

I usually try and harvest all plants at once and immediately convert the room I grow in, into a drying room. It’s the easiest way for me to ensure the environment is the proper temp and humidity, with as little light as possible. All these plants finished at different times so I dried the ones I chopped first under my stairs, which was dark, but the humidity was far from ideal despite adding a humidifier down there. Short answer is they dried out way to quickly. Especially since the buds were mostly seeds and not very dense, they dried out way faster than my Shark Shock buds that were fatter (as well as MH#7) and have cured up better.

I took Mango Haze #1 for another ride last night. I’m not sure what happened with that first joint I rolled but this second bud I picked out burned real well, left white ash and was very smooth! The buzz was similar to the first, but I did smoke less, and it wasn’t quite as intense. Nothing really to add other than it being strange two buds from the same jar/plant can smoke so different.. perhaps it got a better cure somehow, (stayed at a more optimal humidity level being beneath other buds in the jar), or maybe the lower portion of the plant is smoking better than the top sort of thing.. I really don’t know 🤷‍♂️. Could taste the plant similar to its smell on inhale and exhale better this go around as well… 1AE69A38-71F6-4AE0-8A54-D19528DA30CC.jpeg

Those 100-105mm f2.8 lenses are the s*t eh? It’s my fav lens next to the 35mm f1.8.
Are your photos stacked- a compilation if several photos or are they singular photos?

mu
Heck yeah! It’s a great focal length for this kind of work! These photos are single photos, haven’t tried to focus stack with this lens yet!

musashi asked: "Are your photos stacked- a compilation if several photos or are they singular photos?"

A 'good' focus stacked picture is usually pretty easy to spot. The giveaway? Everything is in perfect focus, things close and things farther away. With a camera lens or even an eyeball lens, this is an impossibility. A lens cannot focus clearly on something in the foreground and still have something farther away be perfectly clear. You also cannot focus on something far away and have something close to the camera be in clear focus. I am sure you all know this instinctively but perhaps have not thought of it in this context.

The only way to get everything in focus is thru the use of photographic and software tom-trickery - focus stacking. Makes for some great pictures! ;)

I don’t know what happened in the last 24 to 48 hours while I was finishing up my 7 (12hr) night shifts in a row… but!! The buds started to put on some weight and this girls branches decided they are no longer up to the task of standing tall! I gotta get to bed, as I’m exhausted! But when I get up going to have to add a second layer of trellis netting!!

@musashi Your question the other day inspired me to try a couple focus stacks with the 100mm macro. Here are the results. Week 6 of flower, taken just now. (I really wish you could see the full 22MB version instead of this 2MB version 😔 )07ABB2FD-3785-4E7D-BB68-B8703338B3C9.jpeg
Here’s a zoomed in screen shot of the same photo just full quality on my phone, just zoomed in on the tip of the bud (with having to decrease the quality slightly for it to accept the file size) .

1.9MB compared to full size 32MB doesn’t do this one justice either! You can count the individual trichomes in the full size version lol

Here’s a zoomed in phone screen shot of the same photo (that it still made me downsize a little bit) of the top of the bud on the right! Same photo, just zoomed in.

Great camera work to demonstrate your beautiful ladies. Delicious
😋

It’s been a while since I last posted. The Pink Kush is starting to fade. Trichomes on the leaves coming out of the buds are getting amber but trichs on the actual bud are still cloudy with some clear and no amber. Going to give it another week or so. I think it should be pretty flushed of nutes with some amber bud trichomes by then. For now a quick phone photo of one of the buds!
