Shameless advertising.. haha
Can you use progonal in sentence for me again?

The clockwork is reminiscent of the chiskei. Its a fast flowering African sativa ive been growing over the course of a few years. I see some similar bud structure, colors, and other traits. This bud almost smells like it looks, if u can follow that...
The buzz is very different. Its a very clear headed buzz, energertic, i would call it cerebral and energetic, but still a strong buzz with a very new and clear perspective.. One of my favorites.

Chimera Recently released this cross - it's on my to get list. Right now we're working with some Michoacn, COlumbian Gold, Columbian Black, and working on trying to pul the different egenetics of CLockwork Orange out by several different methods, as it's show to have extremely haze characteristics with indica type leaves. That's one, Nevil, if you haven't checke dit out, is a must see, It changed the Southern California medical scene on some man levels. People were epxeriencing their first "haze" high from a plant that for all purposes has massive indica looking leaves (with serrations My next step woth this plant was to cross it to a Neville's Sknk father, which I did and has pushed out some amazing mind nummbing results. I also want to push it to the Mango Haze and Nevil;s Haze and do some selection to see how the genetics spread out after the cross. I have no doubt that the pacl of "Alaskan Ice" that the progonal CLockwork Orange seed came out from was neither "White Widow nor Haaze" It was purchased severa;l several years ago, I believe before shanti had even left Greenhouse. I was hoping Shantibab or Nevil could chime in and let me know what they think might the original Progenitors to this amazingly potent and medically relevant and necessary staring that Jah bless me with, Clockwork orange.

Shanitbaba knew me at the beginng on my San Diego Urban Growers Society days and was kind enough to stay in touch with me even after I had proved to be one of the most annoying newbs when it came to breeding and asking questions about why SHanti didn't have a feminmized line. SO I thank him for being able to see past the obvious stupidity in me and thanks agai for giving me the time that I needed and help along the way to get to where I am now. You're a wonderful human being and I hope to be able to return that kindness in full.

Anyway, here's some pictures of the Clockwork Orange in veg - not that it has the crinkle leaf pattern on ALL plants, cuttuings, etc, but when crossed to another strainsam, the leaf curling only happens to a select few. We chose to keep the plant with the leaf deformities and not use the other females we had because the bud on out deformed leaf plants was almost twice as potent as the scissor/finger Hash from the mother that has no ofdd leaf traits. In one word it was a freakily potent mutant, the strongest to this day that I have grown or encountered. I've never been able to afford the THC testing, so I can't say it's a world record or anything but I grow well over 400 different strains a year and she's always top for production and potency. We also have sn S1 we like that had the same growth patterns of the original CO mother, however its scent is a fine range of coffees and has no crinkled leaf pattern, a little less yield as well.

Anyway, please understand this isn't an advertisement, as much as it is me taking a chace with the greatest minds ever assembled into one area that might be able to give me informatopn about a plabt that has become the center of all of my studies. We've been woring (jen and myself) to find a plant through selection that has all potency of the mother, the smell of Smart Alex, an the growth traits of the original mother (minus the leaf crinkle)

I feel if i knew more about its makeup I'D BE TICKLED THREE SHADES OF PINK. Thanks to all who are willing to help. It's been an honour even getting to read you words

I was thinking, has anyone here tried pure Oregon purple Thai? Or the Chocolate Thai that DJ used? These may be interesting to consider for the project.

I've grown OPT and some hybrids of it. While it has a wonderful, complex exotic smell, taste and high, it's a very bad plant in terms of it's growth characteristics and would need a lot of work to tame, not appropriate for a straight F1 to NH imho.

One more question for ya Matthew Riot.. I got some seeds from a friend who stated that you put them in his hand. Theyre Oaxacan Gold x Chocolate Thai (Purple Thai). I noticed some smashed seeds, and some seeds were black and reminiscent of the seeds u find in mexi schwag, which ive heard would be similar to the chocolate thai.. some were a lighter brown and different sized. How legit is this pack of seeds? Can u give me any background, whered ya get em?

Im anxious to grow these, but have no idea if these are infact what theyre labeled.. Im assuming these seeds are pretty old. Some of them look as if they are spent, or have already begun to germinate. Theres gaps or splits around the seam of the shell.

I suppose the only way to find out for certain what I have is to try to germinate these. I plan to do just that in the next few weeks.

Breeding project

My Sativa/Haze breeding project is right on schedule and doing well.
I just went through all the seedlings and wrote down what they are

Viet Black/Thai
Green Haze/Thai
CH13 Haze
Mango Haze
Mexican Oxaca
Double Thai
Nevilles Haze
Maui Wowi
Panama
Thunderbud Haze
The Real McCoy
Tikal
Royal Haze
Orange Crush/Mexican
Golden Tiger
SweetTooth
Sweet Haze
Super Silver Haze
Old Timer Haze
Dr. Grinspoon

Let Me know if theres a plant You would like to see and I will take pic for You.

That's quite a line up you have there, Dr. Purpur. Do you have any thoughts or comments regarding any unique growth characteristics at the early stages of your run?

observations

Sweet Haze looks like a sprig of parsley
Mango Haze and Nevilles Haze have great appearance and structure
Old Timer Haze has thin leaves
Maui Wowi looks cool
Another seeding (indica) LA Confidential/Maple Leaf, is very very short, and has very wide leaves

nice list, but Sweettooth isnt sativa, its Sweet Pink Grapefruit Indica x Blueberry;), have fun with those !

I think there are 2 or 3 Indicas in this group. They are going into the mother closet. The SweetTooth#3 Does have an Afghani flavor, and solid sticky nuggs. As for the high, It had an instant Headrush, more similar to a Sativa. That seedling is a replacement for a mother I lost this year, and probably not part of the breeding project, but , who knows? The plan it to collect Nevilles Haze pollen, and a Mango Haze Pollen, Possibly Super Silver Haze Pollen as well, then hit all females with that

maybe the grail is to be found in science by genetically enginering a haze

sorry i'll get me coat :o

Maybe the grail father plant is sitting on your desk right now in a seed?!???!?

Exactly.

The Grail ain't about how it tastes, it's about where it came from. IMO, the Grail is the oldest viable seed, sitting in an evidence room in Santa Cruz or in a dead rockstar's stash box or frozen in a mammoth's belly. Gotta be something with a good story behind it.

Having Nevil back home among his breeding mates in Oz is having a profound impact on the global cannabis scene. There is now a growing excitement here in Australia and overseas, that something special is going to happen re a new Grail Haze. I reckon it is simply terrific!

somthing i wanted to share ive always asked anyone who has experienced ohaze to please share details while not many have the reports ive gathered recall frankincense trait is somthing that is associated with old school haze

the best haze ive experienced frankies has this trait
ive always tried to get the earlist date i could from my trusted sources of wat year she was first smoked in nyc which goes as far back as 90 ,now there has been many reports that the nyc hazes are many things ohaze hybrids /mns haze hybrids /SB haze hybrids /wild sativa

although its only one fella who is not well known, this is a first report since im around id like to share being a proud nyer ,in response his post of THUNK

The church is one of the strains I wish I still had IT would be all I need . When My Mom came by She use to say" I love that incense you burn it smells like the same kind they use in church ".

Im currently on a mission for that same kind of haze and we are devoting a whole room for haze only . WE just popped mango , ssh from mr nice and we have tom hill haze and Neville's from Mr N on the way ,but I gotta say the thunk is looking promising

bigherb, we grew the thunk from seed . But the old church cut I had looked similar to the thunk in bud structure and the smell is also the same . The church had bigger leaves than the thunk .I unfortunately don't have any pics from those days ,the Crazy way we did things back then in our apartments in the city we didn't want to have any pics or crap around .
I have smoked the O haze a few years back ,but it was poorly grown and tasted of ferts
When I said it smells like oldschool haze I was talking about the haze I first smoked IN nyc around the mid 80's

As for the origin of the church I have no idea ,all I now is that it was a haze . The first time I smoked it was around 85-86 and it was from a spot in Harlem , they sold dimes of it and they where the smallest dimes you saw in those days but three of use would be totally whacked off one joint that we usually smoked in the last car of the train on the ride home from the spot

im not that lucky ,but im sure there might be somone who knows someone, this might be a possible canidate for a haze not realated to the haze A / C males

BigHerb, I routinely smoke 3 different ladies of Sam's O. Haze x Skunk #1 cross that are a seedboutique freebie, so they are from 25+ year old stock. All three smelled quite similar to each other. There was no cat piss smell in any of them. When flowered on General Organics Vegan plant food, they were a very sweet smelling herb with a touch of spiciness, perhaps Indian, after a months or two of cure it had switched. Very pungent and spicy, before being broken up, then switching to a sweet floral scent with mild spice, once crumbled.

When flowered with molasses and General Organics Vegan and Fish Mix, they developed a very pungent knock your socks off type smell. A very strong spice with a touch of floral smells when the herb is broken up.

Ill also get to harvest some soon thats being grown with some synthetic ferts, and I can already tell they have affected the herb very much. It smells very similar to a bag-seed flowered on the same ferts. Too similar and not appealing to my nose. A very sterile smell with low levels of spice in it.

As to the spice, is it frankincense? I have no clue. I dont know what that smells like. The most recent one harvested with molasses, fish mix, vegan food smells like a mix of floral perfume and incense when burned. I could smell it all over me tonight after smoking it, and I rarely can sense any smell on myself after smoking. Its a truly great smelling weed.

Hope this helps you some.
