Let me jump in

I Have a giant samS skunkhaze out back. It tastes great. kind of spicey. Its not an acid pheno. I have a mom of it but may let it go in favor of a Mango or Nevils haze. I picked a dozen branches last week and gave two branches to my Son. He says its great smoke, wonderful taste, but its not real strong. Im gonna flower the mom and let it go. I have 25 strains going the moment and dont have time to play around.

Sam, if Your reading this,your seeds are good, but they dont make the cut in my garden. and another thing, Im really disapointed with You . You seem to be a big pussy who only loves yourself. Hey guys, first post - been a long time lurker and late night reader here. :D I'm absolutely stoked that Nevil is around now, the past few weeks I've spent catching up with threads have been quality. It was already amazing to have shanti's knowledge to read, but to have Nevil's experiences and tales of the past shared here is the icing on the cake. Couldn't have possibly dreamed when I was smoking shanti and nev-bred strains in the 90s, that one day I would have such open access to the knowledge stored away in the brains of these legendary breeders.:eek:

Big respect to the whole MNS team, forum users included.

I've got huge respect too for everyone getting involved in the Grail quest. As others have pointed out, it's great to see the unity here right now with a common cause in mind - thanks in no small amount to the return of Nevil.

Unfortunately I have nothing to add to the search, other than enthusiastic passion, but I'll continue to sit and toke with interest awaiting further developments.
 
Dhalat Sativa...

Has anyone had a chance to experience the Dhalat strain from Veitnam,i have not personally myself ,i remember reading an article in "High Times" written by a Dr.Dhalat he described a ceilingless experience from what I can remember.

Delta 9 Labs has Mekong "Haze", they say it's true, pure cambodian from the Mekong.
I'm exited about this rivival. It's bound to be good. I'm sure the right people will come along, or you, N, will come along them.

This Mekong Haze is a Delta-9 strain originally grown in a remote province of Cambodia by Khmer farmers. Would this be considered our first strain at MarijuanaReviews with Asian origins?

Looks: Nice compact sticky buds. Crystals were visible to the naked eye.

Smell: Weird hazy smell. Kind of like a weird spice in the back of your cupboards that you don’t normally use.

Taste: Crazy haze taste. Just weird on inhale and exhale. Spicy and foreign to the normal tastes you’re used to.

Buzz Type: Good heavy buzz. I wish I would have smoked some of this alone. It was always mixed with a bong hit of Super Lemon Haze before or after.

Buzz Length: Medium-long. Good 2 hours or so. But we kept hitting bong hits every 20 minutes…haha.

Overall: I really, really liked it. It was a completely different buzz and taste from all the other cannabis I have smoked. –1000toes

Just to remind you, a select brother to this (great photos L33t) is to be the father of the Grail Haze.
One mating that I'm dying to try is to cross Kanga's Oaxacan to a Early Pearl dominant Silver Pearl type (NL5 x EP.SK1) and put the best daughter to the NH male. This should be a lot easier to grow than Oax x NH (but we'll do that too). I'm looking for a relatively early sweet, fruity, frosty pheno, with a playful character with depth and intensity.
I can almost taste it!

Now that looks like the haze I am used to. I just got finished reading the entire thread, it took a couple of days. I am so psyched about this project. Everything I have is based on Nl5Xhz, and that is the only haze I know. But I have faith, and hope in all these great minds. This is exciting. Its like some sort of fantasy becoming reality. Knights of the round table united in a noble quest, lead by the proverbial King Arthur of Dope.
