I ended up essentially wasting 1/2 of the plants in those spots. I should have run 1 seedplant on the north side, and spaced 3-4 clones. I was also VERY scared that I would lose that spot to animals (deer, bears sleeping on my spots, slugs), So I intentionally put a few too many, but I ended up pulling 1 or 2 a month later cause they weren't gonna do anything, and ended up wit 2 or 3 clones with only a zip or 2. The crowding just made the seedplants BEAST during veg, and they were all 8' and super scopped for multiple tops, but nothing below ~4' The stand alones were ~6' tall, and bud right on down.
This year. Coming to a thicket near you...
~5-10 locations.
Each location ~4 spots (each 30-50 sq ft).
Each spot lookin like 2+ elbows (but figgure 2).
40-80 lb. Assume 30% loss, 28-56lb.
Can you dig it?
EDIT - How many plants, you ask? 1 seedplant and 4 clones per spot. Visit 1 location per day that it doesn't rain
20-40 seedplants, 80-100 clones.
AND the hazes that I'll force come late July...
