LOL :) Well I used to date this girl that called her schnizzle her monkey, AND weed plants are girls, AND I like the smell/taste/high of both... :)

That is an F2 that I made from [Pine Bud x g13(back cross 1)]. The 'f1' seeds were from the GN03 collection from Gypsy Nirvana. I did the 'f2' cross with the only 2 plants that came up. This plant smells like her momma, and the fans look the same (shape, size, purple edges), and she has a longer flowering time (~10 wks after the flip in that pic). The male I just thought was a lil weak plant, but aparrently he was just SHORT, cause this lil thing probably went from ~6" - ~16" as a seedplant. Many of my hybrid seedplants end up 36"+ from the top of the soil.

Hey, me and the mouse get along ok. He doesn't come out before ~4AM, and I occasionally leave a beef stew can lid or 1/2 a pizza crust for him. He tries and tries to drag that shit into my stove...

LOL, I'm out in the country, and I live in a 25+ y/o modular (dunno how long they've even been doing modular homes). Ther is no chance to keep the mice out completely. I just don't leave any stuff on the counters  and box up my 'Nitrogen' nice and tight. I will be setting traps in my veg room if the fukker wants to try my patience.

Oh, and I went and played sturgeon general hospital on my pricey $eed$, and they are alive, just buried em too deep. Some had completely shed the seed shell, and were growing all sideways ~1" below the surface. Don't ask what they are, cause I won't tell. Yet :D

The mouse doesn't know it, but he just signed his own death warrant...

I'm no longer growing out ANY barletta bagseed, SSH f2, Spice x Miss Mudd, or c99 x hp f2. This fukkin guy. Hope he likes peanut butter. And a broken back.

Got the FreeB's on that shelf, and I'm PRAYIN he doesnt go get em. I have to get these clones BACK under the MH, and hope for the best with the (shop light) seedlings for right now.

Superlolo #5 - 53 days.

This plant seems to be quicker, and smells like sweet fuel. I accidentally burnt 2 or 3 sugar leaves near the CMH yesterday. I did it with a SSH today. Temps creeping up :D I had to reposition my fans to blow at the bulbs.

The mouse didn't mess with the last 2 c99 x hp f2's, and hasn't figgured out how to get to the 'other' seedlings (fingers crossed). I emptied all of the containers today that the mouse hit, and prolly ~20+ seedlings total. I would be less pissed if he actually ATE them, he just chopped em down.

Here is some of yesterday's carnage. I just ran down to pick em up off of the floor. He is just either popping them off right where the leaves start, or playing lumberjack near the base.

Lil fukker.

well tonight I think you should leave him out some papers and a lighter... its his final days after all...lol (sorry, not really laffing)

Ya know what? He can stay. I'll put traps near new seedlings, but he already whacked me, why should I kill him? By the time I'm dropping new seeds, I'll prolly be able to keep/start em outside (do you know how amazing it is to sit and think about THAT statement :D). I have those 2 c99xHP's, and if they go, so be it. If he tries to wipe out the next round, however...

I repotted the ssh6 into a 2 gallon today, and what a freaky bush :) I'll be stripping her for clones in a few days, and flipping her after she gets a few days to recover. I am pumped to see her from clone. I have a bunch of pakalolo to go in next.

mice..... doh

i killed 6 last year over a two week period, they where in the kitchen mice shit everywhere.......little bastards:mad:

Some pakalolo lollies. These went in unrooted after ~2wks in the cold veg room. They stunted for ~2wks, then started to grow OK. I dunno, 4+ wks since 1st?

S7304009.JPG

I planted these in the gallons that I was going to use for a side by side with the ssh1's. The #1's died/stunted, so I just re-used the containers. They are 1:1:1 perlite:vermiculite:cocochips. I also threw a handfull of castings and a 1/2 cup of flower power (guano, plant success, crab, kelp, AP fert, castings, vermiculite) into each pot. The plants get watered daily, usually with the 'nute bukkit' which gets 'coffee concentrate', pee, hand ringings after working the soil, kelp, molasses, LK, and the occasional bottle splash. I've been eating tons of bananas and eating lots of yohimbe n ginseng, so I've been trying to pee in the bukkit in the mornings (least watered down). I burned these a lil going too heavy on the pee. They do get a light kelp/molasses run through ~ 1x/wk.

Chopped the Pine bud x g13 f2. It's the weekend somewhere :)

Just like her momma. And the G/Sk's. Ain't nutin but a G thang
S7304011.JPG

(it's a bud growing from a fan)
But really, those were the only 2 strains that I've seen do this. The momma had 2 or 3 fans with popcorn buds ~1/3 of the way down, and the G/Sk had quite a few of these. I haven't seen this more than 2 or 3 other times total with other strains.

haha thats a crazy fan. even even without the bud it looks awesome but i cant belive that you've seen that twice since you've been growing. my buddy mentioned something about your soil. you have anywhere in here you have your mix?

My mix is way too complicated, and at this point I know that I have rocks (rock phosphate, greensand, silicon powder, leonardite, lime) in the recycled soil that breakes down after multiple grows. It has fishies (kelp and crabshell) and poops (guano's and chickenshit) for all of my nutrient value, and I add N with cottonseed meal. I water with molasses and kelp and LK and pee and the occasional bottle, and the re-used soil/nute bukkit is what I use to keep the mixes cookin a lil. Way too much gyrations and machinations.

Basic mixes are:
2 part Coco/peat
1 part perlite
1 part castings
1+ Tbsp lime per gallon of finished mix
1 Tbsp kelp
From there you can add NPK however you want.
N sources: SeedMeal, blood/blood meal, manures, pee, certain guano's. Protein equates to nitrogen.
P sources: Bone meal, rock phosphate, crab shell, some guano's. Some N sources supply some P
K sources: greensand, kelp, molasses.

Look in the indoor section for the 'LC' mixes. They are simple, and the instructions on how to mix/cook em are very straight forward.

I was GLUED to a thread last night dood grew with 'bongaloid's guano mix'. Water straight through.

Mad respect, CF :) Here is the mix he's using:
for this last run i ammended my promix w/ guanos.
1/2 strength as per bongaloids recipe in the organics forum
RECIPE #2
If you want to use guano in your soil mix...
Bongaloid's Guano Mix.
Use all these items combined with one gallon of soil mix.
1/3C hi N Guano (Mexican Bat Guano)
1/2C hi P Guano (Jamaican or Indonesian Bat Guano)
1TBS Jersey Greensand
1TBS Kelp Meal

so far they are digging it.
nothing but water since flip. (time saver)
some are heavier feeders than others, so some paling coming on a wee bit early for my liking.

Dug these up.

That pic is ~55-60 days after the flip, so I'm expecting some fast, purple plants from the miss mud cross :^)

Hi B', shit! that mouse has really done a number on your babies, i know it's not funny but i had to chuckle at this.......
Jamie quote, "the little fucker?... did he completely gnaw through them or did he do a "supercrop" on them?" ,....... then i saw the damage he did, grrr:mad: In all seriousness, if you're in the country from what i can gather you should be fine, but city mice can carry some dangerous crap, especially if his 'finger hash' dries to powder and it gets blown around, i was told not to vacuum as it will send it everywhere, makes sense to me.
On your mix B', do you use Dolomite lime? and whichever you use, how long do you allow the lime to settle in to your mix to avoid burning your girls?, I have to admit your outdoor work has convinced me to put something out myself this year, what do you think is best seed or clone?.
Sorry for all these Q's B', last one for now, what the hell is an 'elbow' of weed?
Apart from the rodent problem things are looking good over there, i'm getting a thing for coloured buds :D

does this help? eLBow .. I didnt get it for ages either.. its a lb/pound

now this I've always wanted to know.. WTF does a "lid" weigh? and how about a "zip"?

"zips" I find really confusing. I THINK it means "Zip Lock Bags" but thats not a measure is it, anyone who ever shopped for them knows they comes in a lot of sizes - ie - I could get 100 little zips out of a big zip right?..lol

Jaime yo. :)

Pepe - Yeah, I'm out here in the woods, and the mice that live here are small lil things (mole/vole sized) I have friends that live 'down below' (urban NJ, NYC, urban port areas..), and I'm sure that I've seen rats that would give my smallest pitbull all she could handle, lol. Fukkin things look like athletic muskrats... Hehe 2.2 elbows get you to the 'Key's...

I don't want to give any more specific advice on outdoor :) It is a 1 shot, make or break thing, and I'd hate for someone to take something that I posted stoned the wrong way, and I cost them $$$ outside. For me, I'll be running both.

Seedplants seem to want to get 6+' tall, and have fat ass buds. Where I live, I don't know if I could pull an elbow;) from a clone unless it was a mother or something going in. With the seedplants, I'm looking for ~ an elbow per. Seed plants are aggresive, growing literaly like weeds.

Clones stay uniform, and it is easier to 'visualize' how/where the plants will end up when you plant clones. Clones won't branch or stretch as much as seedplants. The bud from a well done clone is the easiest to trim. Doesn't sound like much now, but wait...

Outdoor growing = what ever is easiset/quickest to trim = good :)

Hahaha a lid and a zip weigh the same thing! 4 fingers!!! hahaha

They are both for an Oz. The 'z' getting involved. In a bacon and eggs breakfast, the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed!

Ok...
Here are 2 of my spots on July 4, ~ a wk after they went out.

I am looking pretty much north, so the seedplants in the back (on the north side) and the clones up front, with the whole patch having as much southern sky exposure as possible. This was my first 'solo' summer, and I WAY over crowded these spots. I pulled 2lb per spot, but all of the larf/popcorn trimming from small/shaded buds killed me. This weed took ~an hr to trim 1-2 zips, haha. The stand alone plants took ~10 min to do a zip. Just chop off the fans, quick hover with the fiskars, next...

Here are the spots near Oct 1.

Ok, I didn't need to repost them, but I'm dying from cabin fever over here!

PS - The old heads will tell you that 4 fingers (lid, ounce) 'tall' in a sandwich baggie is an oz. Like 90% of a sandwich baggie. Seems to be pretty close for sativa dom's.
