Hello and One Love

One Love and a very warm hello to all you brothers and sisters of fine herb. ❤️😍💚

Here are a few pictures from the outdoor project.

We've got the Bubblegum Mama, which is starting to set flowers now. Then there's the monster Papaya with that seriously thick stem down at the base, and she's starting to flower as well. And finally, the Bubblegum backcross, which smells absolutely fantastic.

Now it's getting interesting. So far, I can't really see any advantage in flowering time from the Papaya being marketed as a Fast Version, but let's see what happens over the next few weeks.

I'm hoping the foliage stays healthy and strong. We're getting some nice days with very little rain, so fingers crossed.🙏🫶🤞

Today I also removed some of the weaker inner shoots to open things up a bit and improve airflow between the different layers of the plants.

Now I'm just hoping for the best—and hoping the same for all of your grows.

One Love, Peace, ❤️🔥💚

That’s a fantastic sight you’ve got there, PennyP! It’s such a joy! I always love seeing plants like that; it warms my heart and puts a smile on my face when someone grows such magnificent specimens in their garden. It’s the best proof that it works really well at our latitude, too—provided all the conditions are right. That papaya looks absolutely massive. Bubbling away in the sun 🫠! PennyP, you can really see the love put into it. All the best from me ✌️!

Danke dir, Bruder @Schlawiener one Love❤️😍💚

I feel you, brother. Peace.🌲🌲🌲

One Love and a Nice sunday to all of you ❤️🌞💚

Yesterday I was over at my buddy’s place, where we made the seeds from the Bubblegum BX2 using this fantastic male and three ladies: Sensi Seeds’ Silver Haze, RS 11, and Candy Float, which turned an incredible deep purple, almost black.

It didn’t all go exactly to plan, but anyway it went pretty well. We chopped the ladies down two weeks ago, but they still produced a pretty good amount of fully mature seeds. We’re going to let everything hang for another two weeks, then the seed sorting and cleaning will begin.

I really wish I had a seed sorter, but I guess it’s going to be a good old-fashioned hand job. 😄

Wishing you all a blessed Sunday.

One Love, ❤️🫶💚

Good evening, friends of the fine art of growing, and One Love.❤️💛💚

I decided to plant a few seeds as a little field test — around 10–12 in one small pot, although I honestly can’t remember the exact number. I simply wanted to check the germination rate of my own seed production.

After four days, things are already looking pretty good. I’d say at least 80% of the seeds have germinated. I deliberately used some of the smaller seeds that didn’t look particularly promising.

What really caught my attention, though, is the cross itself. It’s a cross between the Bubblegum F1 — my favourite mother plant, which is now finishing up flowering outdoors in the garden and won’t be around much longer — and Fleur de Mal Seeds BX2.

It looks like the tendency for two seedlings to emerge from a single seed is actually being passed on genetically, just as I had noticed before.

This was only meant to be a small germination test, and I wasn’t planning to do anything with the seedlings. But now that the little girls — or boys — are growing, I’m thinking of passing them on to my buddy.

We’ll separate them and see if we can find a nice male that we could cross with my Super Silver Haze AC, or perhaps use one of my Super Silver Haze AC males with a female from this line. That way, we could continue the Bubblegum line while also bringing in something interesting.

Wishing you all a lovely evening.

One Love. Separating all those little seedlings is probably going to be quite a bit of work, but we’ll get it done.

Peace.anf Blessings Penny ❤️😍💚
