A low-impact/boring high that doesn't last long.

An taste of incense/lager bitter with an aftertaste of candle wax; in short, I got ripped off (at least I hope it's not cut with paraffin or a worst shit ; I've already smoked lot of it).

Fortunately, in two short months, I'll have my own prod to consume.

Reminds me when my friend came from holland, with smile off his face he gave me some gorrilla glue „look what i took from there“ I gave him ASH and NORDLE, he was like what the fuck? You have better weed man ! :D
 
Yes, the weed there is already full of minerals, and apart from some classic haze, the rest, especially the US strains, is a joke.

They don't have clones and grow feminized versions... Some are seeded...

I swore I wouldn't go back, and I should have kept my oath. Plus, what a rotten atmosphere it is now! There are cameras everywhere, prohibition signs everywhere, it's like a gulag... 💀
 
After 3 weeks of curing I'll try my beautiful 'Sharks' today :love:

Both 'Sharks' developed a strong sweet herbal skunkie smell and 'Shark #3' has hints of fruity and berry notes in the background. Very pleasant :)

Been doing clone runs of my keeper Outback Haze x Nevils Haze/Mullumbimby Madness Long mostly that created quite some hype over here. Classic oldskool extreme Haze both in looks, smell and taste. Like she escaped from '91. Cuurently just flipped some Kununurra Sunshine's (Swiss Thai/Nevils Haze#21 x Super Kush/Mullumbimby Madness/Hempy's Thia)that i started from seeds that were made by Nev back in 2017 but until they finish i'll be happily smoking this lady.. This was cured for 3 months now and reaching full potential. Wish we had a smell app!

Afghan Haze grown outdoors. This is what makes Upstate New York, Beautiful.

helmsman: "I recall that Shanti on a Potcast was asked which one and only strain he would choose for an uninhabited island? His answer was: "Afghan Haze". I believe he meant it not as his favorite strain for consumption but as a building block for future selection."

I sure been doing a lot pollen chucking with it the past couple years.

Today I'm smoking some 6 year old 'Jack Herer' from my 'first' outdoor grow in 2019. To be honest, growing good pot didn't seem that hard at all(it ain't). It was actually 46 years since my last outdoor grow. Back in '72 I grew some Mexican and in '73 I grew both Mexican and Panama Red so I know a thing or 2 about 'Sativa's'. I have noticed that Mr. Nice has never released a Sativa.

I knew this pot was going to be really good and I wasn't sure when I'd see pot this good again so.....I dried it perfectly, cured it perfectly for 4 months, then bought it to the water content level I wanted, and then froze it at 0F/-17.7C. Except for dipping in now and then it was frozen for 6 years until my freezer recently broke. Not much molecular activity takes place at 0F/-17.7C. Pot is still a little sticky and fresh smelling. Trichomes are still cloudy not amber/red. It has aged like a fine Barolo wine ages in an oak cask. 🏆

I'm still experimenting.

After much research that indicated after curing the weed should be kept at a RH% of 55 or less for at least at week before freezing, I choose to use 66%RH. I would not recommend anyone try that. Freezing weed works so good for me that I will buy a stand alone chest freezer that easily holds 5 lbs. of weed. Best for long term storage of weed that you won't be smoking for a couple-few years.

It's best to research a bit and decide what you think might work for you.

For me, the long term storage rabbit hole opened here. After reading this, I did the research.

66% worked ok for me. It is a little moist after unfreezing. I keep mine generally at 62%. A little moist for immediate use but better for long term storage in my opinion. I think it depends how you like your pot so there really no wrong or right answer. Whatever you prefer is the correct answer.

I choose 66% because I keep it 62% and there is this thing called 'freezer burn' when the moisture is sucked out of the frozen object. I choose 66% and checked it periodically(smoking) to check the RH. In this situation, with this freezer, the way I packed it, yada yada yada, the RH stayed at 66% RH for 6 years. Based on that I will do the next batch at 64% RH.

I suspect that it you keep it very close to what you like then you will be fine. I also suspect a lower RH than 64% will reduce any possible problems and still be great smoke. In my situation, freezing so far has proven to be the best option for me for Long Term Storage. Most of my stash is kept at 62% and 55-60F in the basement.

If I was a combustion fan I like soft tacky flammable flowers. I hate flower that crumbles or powders. As you say personal preference.
I am aiming for preservation and stopping or dramatically slowing the conversion to cbn.
What do your put you flower in to freeze it?
At the end of the day, preservation of the flower picked at its prime is the goal, and then long term storage.
