The Haze bros had many Hazes and they were all different. They had a lot of sativas(more than 10 pure lines), a bunch of indicas(3 of which were from the Kashmir valley), and quite a few crosses. Most of the pure sativas were called haze as were some of the hybrids. To add to the confusion the Haze bros would make crosses and name them Haze followed by a #...Haze#1, Haze#2, Haze#3 etc. This would explain why Tom sees some rare broad leaf traits.

Snigger...and why they flower in 12 weeks like any other 50% Haze hybrid.

The fact is pure sats take longer to flower than reports of TH Haze indicate. Its simply not possible to fully flower a sat in that time. That may not resonate with your experience in a Northern European cupboard. But that's how it is. The only thing pure about TH Hz is the fact that the notion that its pure - is 100% pure unadulterated bunkum. Its a point that may be easily overlooked by the novices at IC, but on this forum we're gonna call it BS - cos that's manifestly what it is.

Not to say its not a top smoke, like I said to Tom - 1 in 20 of any 50% Haze hybrid can seem like the best in the world - just cut the BS already.

I havent tried enough haze to comment on % of good/bad/ugly/ , but i have grown a lot of sativa landraces , if 1 in 20 were elite , id be pretty happy .

Im sure even if we all had tried the exact same erbs , we would all still differ on our opinions of how it was , specially as time went by and our memorys got more 'hazy' ....

If you look at CBF at IC n THCfarm ,If i recall he's one the fellas growing the line continous since i can remember an he has some full on pure sativa pheno /Purple haze pheno Aswell as hybrids an hazy lady has some amazing hybrids aswell apparent in her thread an some follow up reports from friends .This shows that as SAMS has said the haze is great for breeding but you can find that low odds keeper

As for your friend ,i know folks in my area who would smoke anything called kush or had wat they say lots of crystals .It anint where you from its who you know .No disrespect to your friend but i cant imagine he has smoked many of those tradtional imports of yestertyear With a commment like nothin compares to nl5haze.i meant wat i said but only said it after i felt offended

Keep in mind the thai/burning bush ancestor in mns haze an the possibility that the haze's Sams sold TFD/ posi had similiar blood but were not of the same stock .

Of course Tom is being honest about his pedigree, I believe that.

I have little doubt that what Tom has is pure Positronics, unadulterated.

I think from an intellectual point of view Tom could be a bit more honest, though I wouldn't go as far as to call him an outright liar.


He misrepresents his Posi Haze, painting it out to be the Aryan wetdream of dope. SSP

ie, All his open pollenation bullshit as though he were some field conservationist, preserving a pure landrace for the NSSL or something, what Balderdash.

Of course he must suspect that what he has is a skunk haze, after all he's grown more of it than anyone, including the Skunkman himself.

By the way, if it was 50% haze, and 50% skunk, that would make it a 12.5% indica, so of course we are not going to see much by way of broadleaf phenos. One will however, be able to get the budding cycle down to a cool 12-14 weeks, owing to Skunks dominant early budding alleles. And Coincidentally, that is exactly what we see in Tom hills haze.

I didnt really grow enough of it to make an informed opinion and or be able to relate whether it was or wasnt haze ,,
(but seem the only one that has grown it , so i guess my opinion counts a little ,, hehe)
the plant i liked the most and kept of the pack i grew was thai like ,
unripe mango smell ,
almost the exact same thing as the local mangoana , which was thai ,
imho you wouldnt be able to tell them apart ...

my keeper wasnt a short flowering plant by any means ,,
it reveged when all the short flowering plants stayed in flower ,
and would have been hell to grow indoor ,
even the hybrid with c99 was very sativa like and not that great indoor vs outdoor ...
i guess i just found a pure sativa in amongst a bunch of hybrids?? but that wouldnt really make much sense ...

be nice to see them in kangas garden .. im sure he would see similarities to our local sativas ..

as for the high ,, very racey , edgy , anxious , the kind some folks find uncomfortable , strong sativa ...
which is the same description i would also add for the local mangoana ...
