Hi all,
A few seasons ago I had my Mango Haze plants purple at the bottom of the plants in mid November I believe? Not to be unexpected really, it was extremely cold by that point. The plants still had a few weeks to go when they were harvested, but the elements ultimately told me it was time to pull or lose everything. Frost is not nearly the only enemy a cannabis plant will face late into the season in some parts of the world.
Over a decade ago now, some Red Sativa made its way to me via a Jamaican bloke. That is about as much information I could give you on the seed I subsequently collected, as the cannabis was so unusual in appearance compared to what is commonly found that I knew right away those seeds were something else. The cannabis had an indigenous look to it from memory, but was good marijuana. They've been stored in the fridge since then, and may be among the oldest varieties I have personally collected. It will be interesting to see if I can get them to germinate, and even more so, if the cannabis comes out as I remembered. I have a hunch with some time and patience, I can bring this red back. We'll see one day.
