Super Silver Haze x Haze AC testers

One Love, dear friends of fine and mindful consumption,

The testers are growing beautifully and have almost reached 50 cm in height. Today is day 15 of flowering. The male has been relocated and will continue his journey at a brother’s place. The other two plants have not shown any pre-flowers yet.

This weekend I'll recycle 40 liter of my old TLO soil mix and in approximately 2 weeks I'll transplant the seedlings to their final 8 liter fabric pots (y)

Good evening, dear friends of fine and mindful consumption,

I’m happy to report that the other two testers have revealed themselves as females. 🌱

Since Sunday, both have made a serious jump in height — almost 10 cm in total. The larger of the two is now around 60 cm tall.

It might also be a good lesson for future runs: if vertical space is limited, as it is in my setup, sending them into flower relatively early could be a very good strategy.

Keep it green and keep it one hundred.

One Love Breddaz,

The two SSH x AC girls are really taking off now. They’ve stretched another 5 cm in just a single day — crazy, but awesome. 😁🌱

In the background, there’s also a Silver Haze from a cut a friend gave me. From Sensi Seeds.

The tent is getting packed, and as every summer, I’m battling humidity levels. It seems to be an annual tradition at this point. 😅

Blessings

Good day, Breddaz and Sistaz,

The SSHxAC testers are still stretching and have now reached 83 cm and 87 cm in height on day 22 of flowering.

Honestly, if someone had told me beforehand that they would grow this much, I probably wouldn't have believed it. But I've seen it with my own eyes, and I'm really glad I sent them into flower as early as I did.

Over the next few days, I'll be taking a few cuttings from the lower branches. These plants are incredibly uniform and vigorous, and now they're starting to show those beautiful narrow leaf fingers up top.

Just wonderful genetics that Shanti has put together.

One Love, and keep enjoying the ladies.

Small update.

Every plant is topped and starting to throw out branches.
Next step is to take a cut of each.

The plant in the corner stands out from te rest.
Leave shape is different and it appears to be more sativa influenced.
It shows more pronounced serrations.

I will mark this one and I hope it is a female.

Day 16

It's a little hot in the tent (~30° C) but the seedlings develop good (y)

Hello Breddaz and Sistaz,

Day 29 of flowering for the SSH x AC testers and day 36 for the Silver Haze.

The taller SSH x AC has now reached almost 120 cm, while the smaller one is about 8 cm shorter. The stretch is finally slowing down—or hopefully it's over—otherwise I'll start running out of headroom. 😄

I actually prefer the top structure of the smaller plant. She seems a bit more compact, and I'm already seeing the first trichomes developing. Both plants received a dose of BioTabs PK 5-8 last week according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Unfortunately, a few uninvited guests have shown up at the party, as you can probably tell from the blue sticky trap... Thrips. 😅

Temperatures in the tent have unfortunately been above 30°C, so I've had to leave it open during the day to help with both the heat and humidity. That's probably how the thrips found their way in.

On a more positive note, the first clone has already started showing roots after just seven days. I find that pretty remarkable considering the clone tent has also been hitting temperatures above 30°C at times.

Thankfully, the weather should start cooling down tomorrow. That's definitely welcome—40–41°C outside is simply too much. I honestly don't think I've ever experienced temperatures like that here.

Hi @musashi

Unfortunately, the Yucca extract product you recommended isn't available here, so I've ordered what I hope is a comparable alternative called BacYucca from the Netherlands. I'm looking forward to trying it and hope it helps the plants cope with these temperatures.

Thanks again for the tip.

Wishing everyone a relaxing Sunday and sending lots of love.

Blessings,

Penny ❤️☀️💚
