Yeah, I wouldn't trust that Rimmeo guy dude was trying to sell Nevil strains and ripped off a bit of people I'm sure any seeds he may have given where just his own pollen chucks. I remember seeing his list just like yeah Nevil bred all them strains and won't confirm or deny shit. :rolleyes:

I may have been born during the day but it wasn't yesterday. :D But their are a lot of naive people a sucker is born everyday.
 
rimmeo did send out a lot of good stuff.
people are growing them and very pleased with the results.

i have found more quality plants from nevil than i have so far from mns seed.
but i have a lot more mns stuff to go through.

i can try to see if nevil remembers bringing any NL5 cuts to australia.

So you actually talk to Nevil and he says Rimmeo has his seeds? I just ain't heard a damn thing from Nevil and what I seen was a lot of strains and people claiming they got ripped off.

Never seen anyone very pleased myself but never seen anyone receive seeds either. :D

Keeping a positive vision for the future and living more plants and less people is a recommended philosophy here...
 
Sensi NL has been in rotation lately. It went for 70+ days before harvest. Nice not-to-heavy high- great for late afternoon walks in the neighborhood. Looking forward to comparing to the Ortega I just started. I just want one, okay maybe two good indies so I can get back to the hazes. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Of course, those packs of mks, kaze, etc. need to be gone thru... wish they'd all stop talking to me!!

nevil did verify that story he said his manager marcel hendrick sold him the seeds and nevil also said rimmeo gave him some back. when he was breeding his grail haze read back you will see the posts. also you shouldnt disrepect people when you dont even know what there contribution to the industry was too many people nowadays just sit behind there computer and talk shit do you know the man no i dont think you do

Maybe Afghan or something he has more on the indica side I'd love to try something like that. I think it may actually have plants closer to original G13 not that anyone really has even smoked original G13 but I don't know I'm kinda high. lol

Still sounds like it would be killer though. :cool:
 
G13 lives , some still hold the cut, I received some info once that I didn't ask for confirmation on.
I believed the guy on what he told me , could be a crock of shit , but I believed him .Still do...

When I thought about it , the cut could live , I don't know for sure , but...you never know

I'm sure it's possible but even if Dr. Greenthumb had the real cut or whoever it's not really the best I've heard both good and bad. Shanti selected an F3 G13 Skunk so may just pass more G13 like phenos either way it lives on may even be in OG Kush and many more. I just can't see jumping on the bandwagon to try the new old G13 cut someone may have. If it's really that good it will sell itself won't matter the genetics it will just sell like SSH and shit.
 
Yeah this guy got it from the source ,Not heard of Dr. Greenthumb , suppose to taste like shit , but put you down , not my cup of tea personally .

MNS skunk & widow crosses with G13 are real great seedlines though , love em :D
 
I hear there is a new company called AusCann. It's not entirely clear what role they are going to take in the soon to be emerging Australian legal cannabis industry but they do have the help of a certain world renowned cannabis breeder. Nigel I think it was. Well apparently something big is in the works. I wonder what strains they are working on.

Is this Neville? I heard he's trying to breed legal over their but the government isn't really keen on it. I have seen a few news paper clips on this. I also heard nev can't get the pure g13 well not worth using pure because it's lost most of the traits that made it famous in the first place. I lot of people claim to hold the real g13 but it turns out to be a old cross like the g bomb or pacific g cuts. In pure form it supposed to be like ortiga cut bland to smoke anyway.
 
i dont mean to talk about nevil here or drag up any of the old stuff that went on here.
i just want to clarify for a couple questions people asked.

rimmeo had some stuff from nevil, who knows for how long he was selling legit stuff, at some point he offered all sorts of lod school strains that were probably bs, and he didnt send stuff out to people who paid, so he became untrustworthy. i dont know why or what happened but i dont know of anywhere to get legit stuff from nevil, and i can contact him directly.

i did contact nevil to ask about the bringing nl5 clones to australia and he said that story was B.S.
 
Nevil is listed as part of the of the management team at auscann. I think it is great what they are doing for public awareness and the lobbying for medicinal cannabis. Im less impressed by what appears to be a well planned strategy for a monopoly of the Australian market though...

It's possible Sensi still has it alive but the NL#5 crosses are probably close here they selected a plant like it from the same batch of seeds the original came from just MNS sells seeds a bit cheaper. Seems to have worked great for SSH anyway. :D
 
Al, are you saying SSH is made from different plants than were originally selected by nevil and left in the care of sensi, greenhouse, and then mns?

well, we know C5 is the mother of both jack herer and SSH.
but is the father the same skunk x haze or different selections?
i would expect that the good males were viewed as just as important or more than the female mothers, and they kept those, so why would they not have the same male? there is a difference between jack and ssh, anyone can tell you that. but maybe it is the same recipe of c5 x sk/hz, but different males gave different results

i was fairly dissappointed in the few new nl5 haze i saw.
just because a plant may look like the old nl5 doesnt mean its just as good when used in crosses.
