Land Races from Brazilian Seed Company

Greetings to everyone here, many thanks Shanti and Neville for this great forum
I´ve heard good things about it.
I wish to share my experiences growing along the years land races from the world like Zamal, Angola Red, Colombians, Mexicans, etc etc.
The first one is Colombian Black.

1. Colombian Black

A plant that cares for as many patience as you can get because she delays a lot to rippen, she doesn´t stretch to much with a main structure as a column with long huge buds in the main centre of this strain which claims to be black because of her dark green leaves and her buds turn black at the end of the flowering which is the most prolonged that I´ve ever seen, it took 26 to 28 weeks to rippen, some plants took less than 26 but 24 weeks. The taste is very spicy and profund with deep indication of licorice. Heigh of 1,50 mt, Yield:80 grms per plant, Odour: low, High: sedative, long lasting, munchies master. Flowering: 26 weeks. Mold resistant.

Very Nice LF!
Thank you for putting some info up on the Colombian Black.
Im sure it's worth the wait for such a long ripening.
If you don't mind me asking & you have a moment, is your colombian black from the breeders choice or self obtained? I was trying to see what if any is the difference of the two.

Thanks again for the info!

-Smoke Dream

Thanks a lot Smoke Dream,
The Colombian Black and Punta Roja seeds were sent by Phill who obtained from Aldous in Colombia.
There is a story about Breeder´s choice and BSC selling seeds as one big company but it all went wrong I couldn´t trust in the people that were getting involved in the project. Some time ago back in 2005 I received an email saying that the person who was writing to me was Phill who used to be Mr.Nice tester and he was askingto become my partner in a new and revolucionary cannabis preservation project that he used to call Cannabreeder´s Choice but he was only talk and more talk without any deep involvement in the partnership saying that he was in touch with great cannabis connection at Cannabis Cup and we could get together with some other cannabis business men as Gypsy, Arjan, Queijo and win CC every single year with our genetics. At the same time I was talking to Kaiki from Cannabiogen and he told me to get my eyes opened with those guys cause they weren´t reliable ones and some of them was in debt with Kaiki a large amount of euros and I told him that they came to me to ask for partnership with BSC and after all set they offered me to produce seeds for them and to be paid not with a partner´s share but 1,500 USD per month and they only could tell me what to sell at BSC and what to not sell at the same time as their company Breeder´s Choice and HHF/Queijo. They showed me the land Arjan is the owner here in Bahia - Brazil and there was the place that was supposed to be my new home and growing place.
I said that i wasn´t interested in their lies and offers and then started a war against BSC and my work with land races.

Welcome fritzman, are you the original guy from BSC, i remember reading when zamalito and Q were supposed to be going into partnership with you, Do you have any recent pics of your columbian gold.. regards J..

Wow Jingles, those beans are from my Col.Gold lady and they are pretty old now, do you think they will still sprout?

You´re right bro, the heat is the key to get them germinated.
I wish that you sprout them I really wanna see them growing and some of posts here also.
I´m growing some great lines of Colombians like Black, Punta, Gold and some Manga Rosas, Brazilian Green, Sweet hash Sativa (White Rhino X Haze X early girl X Brazilian Green) and hybrids of land races like Electric Smoke (Manga Rosa mom X Col.Gold) Mota Mortal ( Acapulco Gold mom X Purple Haze original from the 70´s). I am working on stabilishment of Mota Mortal, a cross between Colombian Gold mom X Cheese UK) and Manga Rosa X Cheese UK and Electric Smoke X Cheese UK.

Dude those strains bring back memories from the 70s.Id like to be smokeing that shit.My question to you is do you think this hybrid weed is as strong as the old columbians?I think people who say its stronger now are full of shit....
peace

Those strains certainly bring good memories from the 70´s good ones I may say.
I agree with you Mr.Therapy, the old ones are stronger mind tripers than the actual hybrid of nowadays.
The old ones take longer to finish flowering procuding levels of THC layers that hybrids can´t achieve. The hybrids produce more THC in less time but the layers over layers of THC that I´m used to see in the land races is something that isn´t acquired by the hybrids.

About their temptative of beeing my partners with Breeder´s Choice/HHF we of course exchanged genetics they sent Mango Haze, Coco Haze, Sour Diesel, Sensi Star, New Berry and Black Colombian and PR seeds. In the trade I sent some of mines and I don´t care if Arjan or some of them are using my genetics in their strains I just want to show you guys that I have Lemon Skunk on my list of strains some time ago (since 2007) and here is her photo.
