Land Races Growing - A preservation work

Have you got anything like the old columbians with a little shorter flower time.HHF recommended a few but I liked the col black..Im growing Nevs haze and SSH now.but would love some old world genetics..peace
 
From photos ive seen over the years of brazillian sativa cross's with pure Indica's seem to produce huge central colas,

Mr.Therapy, a shorter flowering time ColGold can be found in the nowadays bricked grass and we can it Commercial Colombian. The real deal delays to rippen but this new hybrid found in the streets takes only 10 weeks to finish.

Bambi, you´re right brazilian sativas produce constantly huge colas like this one in the picture bellow. Brazilian Seed Company has an old web page that has been designed and it´s almost done and a.s.a. it´s ready I will post here about it.

Luiz is far from trying to promote his site,Ive asked him for a link to his gear and he pm ed me and reminded me this was an MSN forum.Good thread Luiz and I dont think Shanti would mind us talking land race genetics and if and where they might be available.Dudes a class act and hes doing nothing wrong.Keep those pictures comeing brother....

This isn't real commercial, his site even does not looks well.
I hate real commercial pedophiles who fuck poor young growers for a lot of money.

All this looks to me like an adventure at MNS :D
 
I m sure Luis could find another forum to promote his gear if he wanted to..a forum with more members as well..
Shanti has stated numerous times that non-MNS strain info is welcome here at mns forums so I believe this is clear.

Of course this site is basically a MNS helpdesk and its mostly about MNS lines but its not just that..its a cannabis forum and discussing about non-mns genetics is also part of the game and a lot of members here enjoy reading info about other interesting lines as well.

Luiz should be made to feel welcome here and since he is a knowledgeable grower/breeder with years of experience with a lot of oldschool landrace genetics his experiences and knowledge are always welcome here , we all have something to learn from each other.

I would love to see more info on the lines you work/worked with Luiz , keep it up and thanks for sharing all the info/pics.

well # sorry i asked luis if he had any land race for sale but luis only replyed to my post maybe i sould off pm him. dont see how asking for landrace seeds is disrespectfull to shanti. dont know him personaly but off what i can gather hes all for the presavation off land race cannabis seeds even colecting and storing them his self he even as a threads on that place were they keep all old extinct seeds were he say he would like to preserve land race seeds so they cant become extinct. if land races are grow they not going to become extinct the goal seem to be the same to me.
 
I´m sorry if I´ve made this thread seem like a BSC ad that wasn´t my intention, what I am trying here is to share my experience and informations about the land races. I don´t see many people growing them and I think that is a pitty and I want to change that posting here where I´ve got an invitation to be here because people are saying good things about MNS forums and as far as I could see it IS REALLY nice to be at Mr.Nice.
If our dear friend # isn´t against that I continue posting here I will, the last thing that I want is to cause any kind of problem here.

I've no problem with someone talking about landrace strains and their work in preserving them, but when that person is the owner and breeder of the company, with the seed company logo as his avater and posting only about his strains and their availability, then I have a bit of beef.

Shanti has better things to do than mod this site and our posts, but he has enough trust in us that we can do it ourselves, that's why I spoke up about the first post, because as I said I feel like it's an advertisment for BSC, using the MNS forum as it's marketplace.
