I've fallen, and I can't get up! Pass the Medicine Man...😷

Update: i think shtretch has started on a few of the MM. # 7 was set on a 12/12 schedule back on 11/29. She was about 6" upon flip and is now 10". Preflowers are appearinf at more sites. Fresh minty smell upon stem rub. Her leaves are praying nicely, @musashi leaves up not down. That's what I want, right?😉 At least one of my girls is not thirsty nor drowning. 🙏

Btw. Anyone care to chime in how the Medicine Man has done for them in the appetite stimulation department. My grandmother's loosing weight rather quickly. It's hard to get her to eat. I was thinking of making some oil for her to help. Any input?

Edit: MM#14b was flipped on the same day as #7 and is only 6" i flipped her at about 5 1/4". She is stacking nodes very close together. It is cool to see some differences after such a short time at 12/12. I'm not counting them as in flower until they start putting more pistils.

When do you all count flower as starting, at flip or once they kick into gear?

That is true. 😅 she's been buying her medicine from other people at the home. I want to distil some genuine organic medicine for her in a oil or some other form easily consumed by her. She shouldn't suffer.
 
MedMan is good all-around medicine and good for appetite inducement. As sleep is important, consider the NLxAfghan as another option for nighttime. Some CBD products may work for her too during the daytime and are anxiolytic, which is very helpful for elderly- just have to try and confirm like @longball said. You don’t want to give stuff that’s too narcotic during the day for fear of falling- don’t forget glycerin tinctures vs alcohol! In general just let your plants amber up a bit for the CBD and CBN.
I usually start counting when I change lighting. They are typically going to show within 7-10 days of this so take your pick when you want to start counting. Afterall, it is your 30x loupe that will tell you when they are actually ready.

Depending gow they look, i may count start of flowering as today. That would be at least a full week since flip and MM # 7 &#14b are both showing proninant pre-flowers at most sites.

It would be nice to count flowering time from flip, that would put me 7 weeks away from harvest according to listed flowering times. Though we all know many gals decide to take their time. Waiting a week for the hormones to adjust to flowering before counting, will possibly put my flowering times a bit closer to those advertised.

Man, if I'd been less afraid and had repotted the seedlings sooner, I could be harvesting my first round of plants. 😄

Better late than never. Most importantly, I've learned and hopefully grown as a horticulturist. 😁

@longball Medicine Man #6 is recovering nicely. Her root ball is looking good, I had to add a bit of fresh soil on the bottom for her. The roots are developed enough that I decided to flip her into 12/12 at just shy of 4" instead of 5"-6" like I'd planned. I don't want her getting rootbound. I wanted a few more nodes before flip, but se la vie. Here is a picture of her and a picture of the tent. You can already see the plants starting to stretch.

MM#7 has grown to 11 1/2" & MM#14b has grown to 7 1/2". Though they are both happy, MM#14b isn't 🙏, she is raising the 🏚️! Her fan leaves are stretching up. MM#7 looks content, but she isn't reaching like the shorty, miss 14b. All of the Medicine Men have deep green leaves. Some are matt and some have a bit of a gloss, though I wouldn't say they are particularly glossy. When I work in the tent, I can see some of the leaves beginning to sparkle in my head light. I wear a headlight when in the tent because my LED is off, but I want to see the girls properly.
BTW, drinking some amazing German biers right now, smoked some killer hash earlier, and am munching on an infused M&M cookie my friend gave me. So, feeling good. :sneaky:
Most of the stems are pretty thick on my Medicine Man. The first pistils of many bud sites are popping up EVERYWHERE, but I've no doubt that the Medicine Man will be able to support the weight. I wonder if Shanti used an Afghan in the Medicine Man to thicken up the stem and give some extra weight to the impeccable Black Widow.
I'm truly #ShantiBlessed to have such healthy and vigorous plants after everything I put them through so early in their lives.

Btw, unless a special plant pops up or I see one of interest that was flipper later, I'll only be showing pics of #7 and #14b. Just to make it easier. I'd like to show weekly updates.

The girls got their first dose of aerated vermi-compost tea today. It was built with early stretch and root growth in mind. MM #12 had slightly droopy leaves before watering with the tea. But after, they were praying within five minutes. The first few MM flipped are already building bud sites. The pistils are starting to really pop up. Week two of flower should be interesting.
 
How is everyone doing today?
I checked on the girls. MM#7 is now 12 1/4" tall and MM 14b. is 8 1/2". Both look great, though there are some minor clawing. I'm thinking perhaps my tea? It could also be because the humidity has been much too high. I checked on the humidity and it was over 80% humidity. I dug the dehumidifier out of storage. I have it set to 65%.

If you zoom in on MM14b. You can see the first trichs forming on the fan leafs. 😁. I can see them with the naked eye today. My SSH are starting to form some on their sugar leaves also.
 
The MM are starting to develop hits of scents when their stems are rubbed. They are mostly putting out generic earthy "afghani" smells except for MM#18 smelled of peanut butter! I was caught off guard and had to go smell her several different times while attending to the tents and watering them.
The early calyx's are already starting to swell throughout the plants. I'm excited at the pace these ladies want to finish. Only two weeks into flower, 3 since flip, and I couldn't be happier. :giggle:
 
I bumped the Led to 60% power. If I recal correctly it's about 300 true watts when at 100%.

Temps last 24 hours have been 71.4-76.3, a RH% of 53.3%-55%, and a VPD of 1.2 kPa-1.42kPa.

Right two rows are SSH, noddle two rows are MM, and left two rows are fems from elsewhere.
