Hello and One Love

One Love, brothers and sisters.❤️🔥💚

Things are looking good outdoors as well, but it’s slowly time to start cutting down and bringing the plants in. The weather is about to turn pretty unpleasant — getting colder, with not-so-great conditions during the day, plenty of rain, and nighttime temperatures expected to drop to around 3°C next week.

There’s a lot of work to do! We started yesterday, and here are a few impressions from the garden.

Great photos, @PennyP !
They all look absolutely amazing together—it makes the work a real pleasure. I’m sure they’ll taste fantastic. Now *that’s* what I call organic quality. SUNLIGHT is, and always will be, the most natural thing there is. All the best, and enjoy the taste—because these magnificent specimens are sure to be delicious. ✌️

Hello and One Love, friends of fine consumption.❤️😎💚

It looks like tomorrow will finally be the day we harvest the outdoor plants for good.🔥🔥🔥

Today, we already got a few things ready and did some preparatory work, including giving the Bubblegum Backcross a good trim and removing a lot of the unnecessary foliage.

This plant has definitely shown some real resilience and hardiness. We’ve had several rainy days, but also plenty of sunshine in between, along with some cold nights down to around 3°C. So far, I haven’t spotted any mould, bud rot or anything like that on the buds.

Honestly, this has been a really great year. The summer was fantastic, and now we’re already in the middle of October.

I can’t say for sure how much difference it made to cross the original Bubblegum F1 with the BX2, which was relatively fast-finishing, but things are looking pretty promising. The the buds are nice and chunky, the smell is great, and there are plenty of trichomes.

The Papaya is looking fantastic too, of course, but that’s a Fast Version, and she’s definitely on the final too.🌲🌲🌲

Tomorrow, it’s time to get trimming. There’s going to be a lot of work ahead of us, but luckily, we’re not doing it alone. 😂

Wishing you all a blessed weekend. Stay strong, keep it green!

Yesterday’s harvest just seemed to go on forever. 😂 I think we might have underestimated what we were taking on. The Papaya was just overwhelming — we ended up sitting there trimming for hours.

By the end of the day, there was only enough time left to harvest the Bubblegum Backcross as well and hang her up untrimmed for now.

We’ll probably have to get back to her over the next few days, but we had to cut her down yesterday because it was raining all afternoon. That wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, though. It definitely helped keep the smell from bothering the neighbours too much. 😂 And now she can at least start drying for a while.

Unfortunately, we did find a few spots of mould here and there on some of the Papaya buds, but that little bit of mould doesn’t make much difference.

Here are two of the top buds — absolute monsters! And that was just part of the top layer; there was a whole second and even a third layer underneath.

Wow! 😂🔥
