Thanks for the Pics Bushweed. They are a beautiful sight. That NH bud looks good enough to eat, and it is great to see MM and NH growing side by side. Like a long lost family reunion.

NH on steroids!!!!

Bring it on, my brain fears no high and I have the patience to flower em as long as they need to be really dangerous...

I like those colors!

We are smoking something called The Real McCoy Haze We got a real good buzz. Im going to pick the Maui tonight, and the Orange Kush/ Mexican plant. Gonna let Grinspoon go another week maybe, and the Green Haze/ Thai buds are plumping up the last couple days. Double Thai will probably be the last plant. Its just putting on trichomes at 15 weeks

Cheers bunny.

Real McCoy was a name of a Flying Dutchman strain, supposedly Haze mother x Skunk #1 father. They did another strain that was the other way round - Skunk mother and Haze father. Their Pineapple Punch is Real McCoy backcrossed to the Skunk.

Is that the one you have? Same thing as HazeSkunk from Seedsman.

Got any pics of your Grinspoon? Be interesting to see what Barney put in those packs cos the pic they used was one Quasar posted on icmag of his 'Quaze'.

Yeah, you're right, the TFD names get confusing. Real Mcoy is Hawaiian x Skunk and they bxed it to make pineapple punch. Last time I mixed the TFD names up I got Real mccoy and pot of gold the wrong way round. Pot of gold is hindu kush x skunk.

hazeskunk is either fuma con diablo or fuma con dios...

Damn, Eddie, what was wrong with Hawaiian Skunk, Hindu Skunk, Haze Skunk etc? or did the Skunkman not let ya use the real names? lol

I think the TFD Haze x Skunk strain was Titans Haze. I did hear lots of good things about it but wonder if it has the same quality now that Sensi owns TFD.

Could well have been Bob, they offered Haze x Skunk and Skunk x Haze, not sure what was what with the names.

I would expect that the quality has diminished greatly now and what is in the TFD packs is probably not the same as when eddy was making the seeds himself, if the quality is the same as the Seni stuff I'd stay away.

Seedsman still have Haze Skunk, Haze, Indian Haze, Indian Skunk, Hawaiian Skunk, Hindu Skunk etc so if you do want any of those old TFD strains get em from Seedsman instead, certainly a lot cheaper.

You are correct. The Real McCoy is a Flying Dutchman. Its a standard seed.
The Dr. Grinspoon was only available in Feminized. The plant has a blood red stem, and smells very special. It does not look like what they had pictured. Unless I did a mix up. Im going out to pick the Maui and the Orange Kush/Mexican plant. Get em hanging

I'm keen to see the Dr Grinspoon and see what you think of it, I know the Quaze well and it is very nice weed indeed, shame about it's bud structure.

I'm looking forward to smoking some of this 15 foot Neville's Haze, before Neville smokes it all:D

It has still got a ways go yet. I have been getting a bit of rain damage on the pistils, just hope that wont make me bring it in early:mad:
Yes you are all right it is a NL leaning pheno and has a sweet smell, not what we are looking for in the Grail, that will come from all the F1's that have been started.
I am just going to use this pheno for my own breeding and so far I have crossed the Haw/Nam, Mullum and Oaxacan males with it, plus i have a few clones to maybe do some other things.

Ok Nev has had a smoke of the Kariba Surprise and it is definetly a keeper. Very Hazey with a good strong high.
So here we have a African to add to the Grail. We still have another 5 plants to try, so its possible there is a better one.

Good to hear you chose to breed with that NL pheno, for us indoor growers a manageable sativa is highly valued. I've tried most of the well known ones and which I have some nice keepers in the collection something exotic and new needs to be added later ths year, and a 15footer in outdoor bush heights should equate to manageable height indoors for me than one of your 30 foot monster types so it;s good to know oyu;re taking things in more than one direction.

This Kariba sounds like something I need to try.

You fellas let me know when you've found something so good, so mind-blowingly amazing that it would justify a fella who hates flying flying all the way down under to try it and I just might have to...

You never disappoint with your pictures Kanga!

That Nev's Haze looks scrumptious! I envy your sun down under Kanga, I really do.

What are peeps thoughts on taking Mango, Nev's or Super Silver Haze and growing it in Cambodia? Would the weather suit them well do you think?

My country has seriously lost it's appeal for growing cannabis, to many rippers, to many busts, to many dis-honest people and crap weather are some of the reasons.

Peace.

Red.

Hi Kanga,
It even has a hazey look to it. That is progress. Very Exciting! Great update.
I heard you say earlier that it is pretty early. Like how many weeks to maturity from start of budding in your guestimate?

Thanks

I haven't read the whole thread so maybe this has been covered. A Kiwi mate of mine and a lifetime toker of quality pot was telling me recently about his Holy Grail, a strain called Kiwi Green and reckons he hasn't had any herb in Oz that good. According to him, Kiwi Green originated in the seeds from Budda Sticks which were then planted out and adapted over time to the Kiwi environment and probably crossed with other excellent herb. There would seem to be some quality Asian genes out there in the green forested mountains of New Zealand.
