itd have to have some afghani in it given some of the leaf strucure one would think ,
thai x mexican would typically be a skinny leaf plant wouldnt it ??
It's definitely got the Purple Afghan in there, I just can't remember the precise permutation that I sent down under, there are a load of hybrids in my stash with PA genes.
Hi BH, Hey mate if you want some honest opinions on that PMT from both of us. We would suggest you work on the smell, both of us commented that it had that Dutch Purple smell and Nev in particular didnt like it.
Nev has some of it drying now for a taste test, so I will give that report later.
But on top of that mate it is a crowd favourite for it's colouration....so good work there.
Thanks for the feedback, the same issue cropped up with the Purple Thai, it was really good in all regards apart from the smell/taste.
I'm having real problems with the PA line, I'm growing more out looking for new breeding plants and so far I've got two males and a female, sadly the female is green, not purple. I pollinated the CG, SSH and a couple of other plants with the more promising of the two males (the one with purple balls, stems and petioles) and have kept cuts of both males, the female was also pollinated.
So the search for a purple PA female continues...
What I have always planned to do is work the PA line until I've stabilised the purple colouration so that it's truebreeding for the purple when outcrossed, then cross it to something that has lots of terpenoids and very dense buds as those are the two week points of the PA imho. PA x OG Kush worked really, really well but the Dutch police got all of those when they bust me, sadly.
Anyways, I am busily working away at the PA line and I'll hopefully make some progress soon.
CG x PA could be very interesting, should have plenty of those seeds soon when I harvest the CG.
P.S. I'm just very pleased that some of my beans are being grown in the bush, if Nev likes the end product, that's a bonus, but for me, the real prize is the simple fact they were grown. Also, any feedback I can get is immensely useful, what I think is really good might not be what others think is really good and who better to ask for advice than Kanga and Nev? At the end of the day, if they tell me my stuff was crap, that's fine by me, just teaches me that I need to reassess what I think is really good and start again with some new parentals. How better to learn than by putting your genes where your mouth has been and being fully prepared to be proven wrong?
P.P.S. After everything's cut and dried and tested, I would love to grow what you consider the best of the bunch just so I can see what level of quality you guys consider the best, see how it relates to what I've always considered the best quality...
Right, just finished picking the SSH x CG seeds out of the SSH buds, now I'm going to smoke the SSH finger hash and knock back a few cold ones, been a hard week...
