First the whole plant hang dries very slowly till the branches will snap( In a cool to cold room). I then clip the buds into brown bags to slow the drying, carefully turning the buds over twice a day. From there they go into Lock-Lock boxes to cure, getting vented twice a day at first. They will continue to cure up until I smoke them. I like at least a couple weeks cure. Two months is quite often better. A good cure will help the buds maintain potency and full flavor for a long time.
 
Heres a pic from a year or two ago

Its the same plant. I keep a mother here and elsewhere for safety.
I have seeds of this one crossed with both Mango Haze (MNS) and Nevilles Haze (MNS).

Instant high. superb taste. A headrush that carries You away. A flavor that is smooth, round, sweet, satisfying, and just so top shelf, that it causes you to make sure You dont run out. I think its a good mix with Nevilles Haze as is Headband. The headband is very potent and top shelf. This pheno of LA is a bit better in my opinion. Stronger in the instant Headrush department.



None of these will be the Grail. I have faith in Kanga. Ive seen his plants on here. He and Nevil will make something great.

Whatever the lineage ,la con is special an aside from their character or business paractice their genetic speak for itself an IME some of the best avavilable in the Adam CS

On the La con ,I kno from what the boys posted it had nothin to do with kush,although Og n bubba have been mentioned .The story has been spoke about and confrimed by dusty who also had a cut

Was that Dusty Bowls? That guy was totally discredited so take it with a pinch of salt the size of Manhattan if it was him who said it.

Without naming names, I'm friends with the guy who grew all the crops that won the cups for DNA and grew all the DNA weed that was sold in Gray Area.

So I heard all the stories about DNA and let's just say it's hard/impossible to figure out what's what with their seeds.

Some examples of stories I heard:

LA Con is from seed found in a bag of MK-Ultra
Choco Thai was a bagseed they grew out, one of Don's friends said the smell reminded him of the old Chocolate Thai so they decided to give it that name
The mother of Martian Mean Green was another bagseed from some amazingly smelly dank Aaron used to score in Arizona. They crossed it to the G13Haze male to make MMG.

Just 3 off the top of my head. DNA used to post pics of reeferman's big greenhouse grow down in Mexico and say it was theirs. What happened was Aqualab visited Mexico to make hash with reef, he took a load of pics while he was there and emailed them to his mate Aaron to show him what a proper op was like. Aaron appropriated them as his own and posted most if not all of them at THCfarmer and used them in the slideshow presentations they do. You might remember the pics DNA used where they were putting bubblehash through a meat grinder as an experiment. Those pics were actually Aqualab and reef and the hash that resulted wasn't great so it got used to make the 'Potcorn' sold at the HTCC.

Just remember to question everything with DNA. You can find some great plants from some of their strains but that's true of a lot of shady companies.

But, And thats a very very big But. This plant speaks for itself. Everyone wants it around here.
 
Oh yeah, whatever LA Con really is, MKUltra, Bubba or LA Affi or whatever, it's a really good strain. You could put a well grown sample of LA up against a sample of Katsu Bubba and be hard pushed to pick a favourite.

Nothing will ever rival the great outdoor sweet spots for quality cannabis production. Hopefully, someday, somewhere, someone will be daring and lucky enough to get away with re-establishing some of the great genetic lines in their specific region of origin sweet spots.

Obviously that ain't right, DNA didn't even get to Amsterdam until 2005, MK Ultra was available before that.
 
My Son lives on the Lost Coast in Humboldt. When I was last there in the end of 2009, I told people that I was running LA Conf. Mostly what was being run up there then was Headband, and Blue Dream, and GDP. They said they loved and missed the LA real bad. It had been replaced due to fad popular demand.
The Pheno Ive kept these last couple years has just the right high to mix with the Nevilles Haze. Very strong instant high, Sweet wonderful flavor. Heavy dense buds. The plant is short, but mixed with Nevilles it should be just fine.

Hi BH.....I have these crosses from A, Hashplant Haze x La Con, Kandy Kush x La Con, MK x MMG x La Con and C4 x La Con. Anythng there you think might be good ??

Wish I could give You a cutting of this one Bro. Your too far away. This one and your Haze would also be a great match.
I think Ive run 40 strains in the last year. This plant is a crowd pleaser. It scores top stars in every cat

i remember i wanted all of them to when they were for sale at the farm ,I opted for tora bora which was fem ,gorgeous plant but not the knockout i was looking for ,i only grew one seed though.

I think the HPH x La con will be special ,But i agree they all should be special.Master kush with g13haze from MMG n La con should be crazy.

I look forward to these grwon out ,best wishes

It just doesnt get real big. I got between a quarter and a half pound off a late starter. Solid, super high THC, beautiful buds. That mixed with Your madness plant would be something. And it might just grow larger. I like the high. The instant headrush high is followed by a nicely balanced body high of snob quality.
 
I've had this LAcon momma for a while now. She's glacially slow in veg and a bit too bushy.
But she sure does grow tasty rock hard buds. I'm quite fond of her.

She tastes afghan with a savoury taste like lamb and mint or something.

I'd say she produces a lot of CBD but I could be completely wrong.

Hi Mate.....They are all regular seeds
He also gave me the Ghana and a strain from Turkey that are vey nice.....We are having a good look at these, pus some Lebanese Reds that I have, they have a very sweet smell that we both like.
I might give those Hashplant Haze/LCon a go then. All the Hashplant Hazes that I have at the moment look very nice.

Nothing on the reports yet as Nev is still settling in. We have just been taking out males from some of my old seed stock.
We will then start seed from the MM and Oax test buds and hopfully we should have the best Male and females to work with from those.
All the summer plants have now been pollinated, with a few crosses using SSH, MH, BW, Kali Mist and NH.
Of course our main aim is to produce the super sativa using MM, Oax and Nev's Haze.
The Indica side of it will take a bit longer as there is a few to look at and then work out the best cross......Nev's job:D
Anyway all is good and we should have some pics coming soon.
 
Man Kanga I sure hope you guys throw out some of those Super Sativa seeds for the guys that are willing to put the time and work in. Sound like some magic is going on down under! Any chance of a Oxa x NH, or a MM x NH would be unreal:D

I am sure there is going to be some of these around:D
At the moment I have done a few Oax x NH, but we really need the F1 stock to get the better cross. The ones I have growing now are a bit to sweet to use and Nev say's this isnt the best of the Best and that is what we need:D
