Warm greetings to All MNS Aficionados!
Today it reached a high of 20Β°C and will drop to a low of 12Β°C tonight. Finally figured out how to take triche photos with my new budget scope. I had to link it to my laptop and use the Windows Camera.
I've been using a Windows System for 30 years and today was the very first time I ever opened and used the Windows Camera. Go figure. One more embarrassing true life confession.
That's just between us, though! 30 years! That's damn embarrassing, however one looks at it. Wouldn't want that out there, getting around to too many growers!
Anyway, growmies, the shots below were taken from 2 of these 3 tiny buds, taken from a bottom branch on No.3. The partially dried third bud was scoped a few days back, and all 3 tell the same story, imo, that she's ripe for the picking:
They aren't the greatest shots, but certainly a good start for this new budget scope. Now that I've practiced on a few small samples, I can take a larger one from higher up.
In terms of a cultivation "plan" for the coming year, if my life situation and circumstances permit it, I will attempt to germinate 25 year old Original Killer Queen seeds, from Vic High, which I scored on cBay, back in 2002.
They were kept in a vacuum sealed package, in a fridge for 10 years, then transferred to a deep freezer. I've been holding on to them until I got into tissue culture but that time has managed to evade me. If any of it germinates, I will make seed from it, of course, and select a male to cross with with No.3 & No.5.
If I manage to pull that off, I will grow that cross outside, next summer: G13 Haze Γ Killer Queen.
Cheers! - FF
