If I understand correctly, in the F2 generation, you can find plants that are similar to their parents, and the possibility of finding the original SK#1 or NL#5 is too tempting, so I have to at least try

That's a good Idea
....keep the genetic alive for the future. @Lu-Khan i don't really have the opportunity to do large scale selection, but If your find a cool Lady fitting your needs, it is Always a good Idea to keep her.In the F2 it's your choice how you want to Go further on. They are many ways to preserve your Favorit traits...keep an outstanding daugther from the F2 and a good Male from the Original and an outstanding son from the F2....for your Projects....might Help to get your desired plant....but this is Just theory....
There are great information in the web about cubing and backcrossing....
But as Long you have Seeds, you will have a Point to Start from ... that's why i am a Seed Junkie of regular Seeds.

The ability to produce ones own seed is part of the deal when purchasing a given line imho.
Sure we could dose plants with STS but regular seed has always had a certain charm, at least to me...
Simply knowing that i could, if i had to, grab some packs of this and/or that and be pretty much self sufficient for years/decades is liberating. Something we all instinctively know/feel right? that's why we congregate in places such as these.
Sibling breeding(F?) is an educated crap-shoot with desirable and undesirable traits able to be expressed.

It's amazing what we can do and create with this genetics. What you both mention is great information and insight, thank you for that.
I'm looking forward to getting fully involved one day and having more space, but for the next few years I will mainly be studying the information here, cultivating the MNS genetic library (and tasting, of course) and enjoying life with my young and ever-expanding family

Hi @Lu-Khan the thing is, If you have cool male and you use it to polinate two or three Nice females, then you go along with hundreds of good Seeds as an Outcome. I did IT frequently in the Summertime Indoor, when IT IS almost Impossible for me to grow for quality Buds, becuz of humidity and Temperatur in my Setup. But i can Go for Seeds at that Time....one Male and two Girls will give you for sure a couple of hundreds Seeds in an open pollintation...

That's a Pictures of the Bubble Gum Seeds i did last year.....and Just one Session of sorting the good Seeds from the Bad ones...if you scale it Up you will get a Feeling how many seeds you get Out of one run

And yeah, the experience I’ve had with Bubblegum is really something special. I’ve been growing that strain for years, and it never disappoints — it’s always a banger, mainly because the flavor is just insanely fruity and sweet
What I really like about it is how well it performs in our climate. Even outdoors it does great here, better than many strains that are actually marketed as outdoor varieties. Even in rainy summers, it still holds up well. And indoors, it’s obviously also absolutely top‑tier. But get the real Shit from the source and regular Seeds
You should definitely check it out at some point

Some time has passed and a lot has happened.
While rooting the cuttings, I noticed some white mold on the Root Riot cubes. I have to say that I also saw these white spots on the cubes that I threw away after unpacking the original package of 50 cubes.
Maybe it wasn't anything harmful, but thanks to this (perhaps) hasty decision, I lost the cuttings from #3.
Furthermore, when transplanting the first rooted cuttings into pots, under the influence of Seriotica, I made a completely embarrassing mistake and lost track, so I have 5 clones without identification and missing backups #6, #7, #8, #12, and #15 
I'll see how the situation develops.
But overall, I must say that I am satisfied with my first attempt at cloning. I did not expect such success and a smooth process. I think it shows how high-quality and resistant this strain is. On the day I transplanted most of the cuttings into small pots, I left the window in the tent slightly open, and the temperature inside was around 8°C with high humidity. The next day, the same thing happened
Well, even though I'm not continuing with this method, it definitely didn't harm the cuttings. It seems to me that it actually benefited them. Is that even possible?
In the large tent, after two days of 14 hours of light and 10 hours of darkness, yesterday was the second day of 12/12, and on that occasion I turned on the QB panel. Now my 270W strong light is set to about 70% and raised 40-50cm above the tops of the plants.
Since I needed a humidifier for the clones, the relative humidity in the large tent dropped and is now around 50%.
I sprayed both the clones and the large plants with Cannacure.
I am starting to monitor the plants to identify the males. From the photos I have studied here, I would say that I can already see some males, but this is the first time I will see a live male, so I will wait until I am 100% sure.
As for the fertilization plan, I gave the plants their last watering with growth fertilizers on the day of the 14/10 reduction. Today, I will only water them with a product containing kelp and fulvic acids, and I will start fertilizing them for flowering with the next watering.
A subtle, very pleasant, familiar scent wafts from the tent, I would say Afghan Kush and coffee, pleasant and very subtle. So far, I haven't even needed a carbon filter. What I didn't expect is that the clones smell the same but much stronger....?

I have eliminated the problem by simply boiling the peat plugs for 10 minutes in water and let them cool off in that water.

I've seen the same thing happen with my peat plugs past summer.
You might want to have a look if you had the same problem, it did not end well here.

You may not believe me, but I remembered you and your problem with mold on this medium. By the way, your growing threads are excellent study material and I think they are an inspiration to many of us, certainly to me
However, my type of mold is white and solid, like paint splatters, and to be honest, it appeared on a lot of other cubes that were already rooted. Well, we'll see if I'm lucky or if it will be the best experience. Anyway, thank you for sharing the hot water method with the remaining cubes. I will definitely do that.

You can always take more clones during flower or reveg, as a last resort.I'll wait a few days for the ladies to recover from the amputation of their limbs and then start reducing the number of hours of lighting. I know it would be ideal to wait for the clones to take root, but I think my main tent would be overgrown by then, which is another reason to choose a lower number of plants next time

Yes, it reassured me that if a real gem turned up that I didn't have backed up, there would always be another option.
However, it looks like all the clones have taken root, and the ones I lost turned out to be males

Just dropped a few beans of these myself to have a look through.
It's also part of some legendary strains as well supposedly.
Comes recommended for strength of effect..
Could be a nice one to keep a male of, or breed with anyway, introduce a bit of oomph hopefully.
Just fertilized my outdoor ladies today with a male Super Silver Haze.
Crossed him to Medicine Man, Shark Shock and Master Kush/Skunk.
Very impressive clouds of pollen from the SSH father, hopefully he likes one of them.
I have kept a clone of him as well to use later on.
Looking forward to your evaluation of Nl5 x Skunk#1.

Day 9 in 12/12 mode
Nine males have been identified and removed, bringing the final ratio to 15 females and 9 males.
I kept only 2 gentlemen, which I will use to pollinate a few branches of selected females.
I didn't choose these handsome guys scientifically, but rather based on how I like them overall (and I admit that I remembered a comment from Nevil, which also inspired me), and I must say that one of the gentlemen is faster than the others.
When determining the sex, I found one female (#9) that is also a few days ahead in flower development. I will try to cross these two and carefully label the seeds. It could be an interesting selection of early girls for my outdoor area (?)
So there are 15 females left in the main tent, which looks much better, and the girls can finally breathe a little
They got their first watering for flowering: 1ml - A, 2ml - M, 3ml - B, 1ml - X, pH 6.3 - 6.5.
The next watering will be with Calmag only.
As the light intensity increased, the conditions in the tent changed to 17-20°C overnight and 25-28°C during the day, with relative humidity at 35-45%.
I expected these conditions, which is why I chose this variety. I hope I didn't make a mistake. Although I can see that a little higher humidity would benefit them, I don't think they are suffering. Judge for yourselves.

Very valuable and new information for me; I didn't know that Calmag had this effect on plants.They are looking good Lu-Khan!
Some extra Calmag should help them to cope with the lower humidity better.
Something I sometimes do is lowering the extractor fan in the first weeks of flowering, this raises the RH a little.
