There hasn't been any industrial hemp cultivation in these fields south of Vienna for the past 20 years. I’ve held onto the dream of at least sieving some outdoor hash—but that probably won't happen.
In any case, the Early Queen handled these conditions better than the others.
A clone of hers is still alive, so we'll see @PennyP , maybe a spot will open up for her indoors after all.

I was thinking the exact same thing last night. If you’re giving me some hope here, I’ll go fill up the canisters again today. A quick bike ride certainly won’t hurt. Still, I really can’t underestimate the risk. In Lower Austria, you end up in court over this kind of thing. In Vienna, they probably wouldn’t even bother with the case anymore. But back in Lower Austria, I once got a sentence of three years—with 23-hour lockdown in the cell right up to the very last day—for just six plants in the flowering stage. In Vienna, by contrast, I got six months plus probation for ten 600-watt lights and 180 plants. So, fear is always riding along with me. I used to have a friend with a two-way radio along for the ride; that let me handle things like camouflage and so on. Now, it’s just me and the 23 liters—a quick dash into the bushes and a quick exit. Three years ago in Vienna, six magnificent "Serious 7" plants of mine were stolen. When I arrived with the water for the second time, there was a guy sitting right there.
The guy had called a buddy with a small van. They kept watch over the plants until dark, then drove the van right up to the foot of that steep slope. When the guy was sitting alone among the plants, I called out to him that they still needed another two weeks—and asked him to please leave one for me. Needless to say, that didn't happen; all that remained were the imprints from the 25-liter fabric pots and a stretched-out rope.✌️

Bastards both, law enforcement and thieves.... Funny world, the country which introduced prohibition, let's not get into their lucrative motivations now, is now " El Dorado" of the cannabis industry! I do not think Spain will legalize but here it is still "tolerated" as long as you are not overdoing. Maybe Austria follows Germany with its legalization laws.

I hope Austria catches up with Germany on this soon, too!! Austria is tolerant in this regard anyway. Except when you do it too often...✌️

Thanks for the encouraging words.
I thought the stigmas had already been pollinated and that the plants would just be developing seeds from here on out. But I was wrong—they’re growing new white hairs.
So, let's see if I can actually sift some kief at the end of the season! ✌️

The Early Queen is alive!
The summer heat and dry spell are continuing; there hasn't been a drop of rain. But that's where a crazy guy like me comes in!
Anyway, thanks again to @PennyP and @Swifty for the encouragement! Don't give up on them—they can take a beating!
That really motivated me, so now I get to experience them in the best phase of their lives.
So, I'm optimistic again that I'll be able to extract some juice/nectar from them after all. The nights aren't hot anymore. Usually, watering becomes less of a hassle starting in September. Today, I gave them Alga Bloom plus some stream algae water! I removed yellow leaves and did my best to open up some airflow in the areas where the foliage was too dense. The Early Queen handled these conditions really well. We had some fierce storms the day before yesterday!
Let's see what September and October bring.

The plants are still very thirsty, but the struggle for survival is over now. The Early Queen is doing the best; she’s showing relatively normal development. But these plants are amazing. There’s drought everywhere, yet the industrial hemp fields remained lush green until last week, despite the heat. I hope the Queen develops pink pistils—the Early Girl used to do that a lot back in the day. I figure it’s the same genetics, after all! ✌️

The Early Queen is really thriving now. It’s the most magnificent of the lot. The scent is almost identical to the Early Girl from back in the day—it’s amazing what the brain remembers and for how long, considering I haven't grown that strain even once since then. Back then, the Early Girl had a slightly lighter green color and beautiful pink pistils, but you can't have it all. I had almost given up on these, so I’m really pleased with how they’ve turned out. You can tell the Durban and D.Dew struggled with the difficult summer, but the Early Queen has done the best by far. Today, I took about three minutes per plant to defoliate the dense areas as best I could.
I also put the two remaining Early Queen clones outside about two weeks ago—

I knew that if the rains came in time they would bounce back Schlawiener.
My guerilla grows from long ago have shown this multiple times.
It is not ideal but you are still in the running for having a great harvest.

I don't know if you prepped your your spots with a lot of fertilizer but now (even better was 1-2 weeks ago)is the time to give some extra.
If you have a bottle of organic bloom fertilizer like Bio Bloom or Alga Bloom I would bring it there and just put it pure on the soil in a ring around the stem.
I made one around 30cm a cross. 1/4-1/3L per plant and let the rains do the rest.
