Hallo zusammen!

Hello everyone!

Since you can never have too many plants, I decided to win an auction for an outdoor grow! I've never grown an Early Queen before. But one of my first successful outdoor grow attempts was with an Early Girl and a Passion #1 (2003). The two years before that were a complete disaster. Let's see what I can manage this year. I have two locations. One is in its fifth season, the other in its third. I actually wanted to take a break this year. Then some guy ran his dog into the hedge and right through the plants. That was bad luck, even before I could start harvesting. I just thought, "You can't even take a dump in peace in the bushes." And it was the sunniest spot. So, before we get to the photos of the location and more…
There's still a lot to do. To complete the revival, Passion #1 will be joining the Queens. Take care and have a great weekend.

Hi and one Love @Schlawiener ,

Sounds good....we will have this Summer a couple of Projects too Up Here. The last Summer was a mess, but my Bubble Gum from Serious Seeds i crossed the year before Indoor with a selected female and Male to save the genetic and have more Seeds, performed even in that Bad Summer quit well....so we used the Winter time to improve her with a really Early flowering Male Bubble Gum plant from a backcross 2, i got from seeds from Fleur de Mal, that smells amazing...hopefully the plants will finish a couple of Weeks earlier

Sounds really good. Bubblegum has a super euphoric high. Even the Indica version from TH Seeds.
Of course, I hope everything works out the way you imagine, @PennyP.✌️

The flight with the Early Queens has begun.

Of the eight seeds sown, seven germinated within 48-72 hours. One of them strangled itself with its seed coat. I couldn't free it. The next morning, it was decapitated. One didn't want to survive, the other decided to commit suicide! The six EQ seedlings are under a San Light Stix at 40% power. Today, they spent two hours in the sun on the balcony at 18°C!

Thanks @PennyP. I just can't resist planting something when the sun is shining! Every year I tell myself this is the last outdoor season. But then, when the plant rewards you with green gold in October,
your mind starts planning for the following year!

Grüẞe vom grauen Wien ins bunte B.........!!
Wenn mal Legal!! Den Nachbarn zu Liebe ohne Aktivkohlefilter.✌️

The Early Queen seedlings are doing well. Whenever possible, I move them to the balcony, sometimes in the shade, sometimes in the sun. Otherwise, they get 19 hours of daylight under a San Light Stixx lamp at 40% intensity. I visited one of the two spots where I plan to plant them today to essentially dispose of the soil from my last two grows there. I discovered that the hedge needs trimming again to allow for more sunlight. I'm mixing BioGran, a high-quality slow-release fertilizer in granular form, into the old soil. I usually water the soil with BioBizz Fish Mix. The plants get a lot of extra water initially. After that, I only check on them on particularly hot days to water them. This worked very well in one spot. In the other, with stonier soil and more sun, three large plants can be quite a strain. So, we'll see what I want to tackle this season!✌️

Growing outdoors in such a densely populated area is really tough! This morning I wanted to tidy up the spot for the EQ plants a bit. Unfortunately, forest rangers were already out at sunrise. At 5:30 a.m., the first joggers appeared. On a Sunday, no less! My apologies. Since the vegetation isn't quite that dense here yet, I decided to postpone this until next weekend. 😂

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!✌️

Today was the day, and the first plants arrived at their designated spots. First up were the largest ones (Durban): the six Early Queens. They want to grow despite the cold temperatures. Since I last trimmed the hedges etc. in one spot five years ago, it would be time again for the plants to get a bit more sun. I just don't know when or how. It's not so easy. Therefore, one Early Queen is going to a different spot. More sun. But more risk! As it looks, four of the six are male, two female. The cuttings I took to determine the sex using a 12/12 cycle were taken out. The timer was set to continuous operation instead of 12/12. So, I'll probably rely on my intuition. For now, I'll just move the two Early Queens outside where I couldn't see any signs of males. ✌️
