The hazier of the 2 ssh f2's from my 'mergency batch is no joke. This is the 2nd plant that I'm kicking myself for not cloning in an attempt to preserve the high/yield/speed/bag appeal. A fast haze with a big yield :) The other plant was the hazy martian mean green (claimed to be:[(GWS x lambsbread) x g13/hz]). I will be taking clones from the ssh f2's, and if I have the room, I'll take em from the barletta bagseed. I think I'll just run the MeT x MissMudd (FreeB) and the c99 x hp f2's out, as I have lots of seeds from both.

I took 2 clones from a SSH #1 that is ~4wks in flower. They were lowers that should have been trimmed a wk ago, so I decided to root em. I've taken clones in flower before, but the only strain that I attempted (succesfully) to take cuts of ~1/3 of the way into flower was the cannaloupe.

I STILL have yet to take any cuts from my ssh6 clone. I could prolly take 20 and flip her... I just don't have the room. It is the 1 large plant that I have in veg right now. I'm gonna take a few cuts 2moro. I decided to only keep the ssh4 until I can get her in the ground. The yield inside is just PUNY. I'll be lucky to have 35g from the 2 plants I just pulled. WITH LIKE 7 GALLONS OF SOIL BETWEEN THEM!!! WTF!! It is very quick, finishing under 9 wks, so I'll try to get her out in the sun. I'm gonna keep #5 for a lil while. She has a light yeild, but is a frost factory, and finishes hazy and purple under 9wks. I'm also gonna get her outside :)

I have to get some ssh 6 clones running through. I dunno why I have put it off for so long, as I really liked everything about the seedplant. Watching a documentary about George w Carver. He's that DOOD!

I'm thinking they should go ~60-75 days from first. That looks like a longer flowering plant, so maybe 3wks. There are 2 that look a lil quicker, 2 that look like that, and one that is probably gonna be early at 80 days...

I'm gonna drop off pix of the other plants daily. They sort of showed one day after the next, so by 2moro, #2 will be 53 days, Tue, #3 = 53 days...

hey barletta things looks great here down below since i last was around. still doing the same old great growing. lol same old? who am i kidding seems like you're always thinking of something new.

it got up to 56 here today with the sun blazin. mmm i cant wait until spring. got any big plants.. i mean plans?
 
Yo Ed :) Gonna be a big summer, and I have plans with the shitload of seeds/seedlings I have going :D Biggest plants right now are prolly those 2. If life works out, I'll be able to grow a biggun or 2 right here in my outdoor garden this summer. :D

Plans right now...

Find a production mom that I like to smoke (ssh f2's, spice x miss mudd). That pakalolo is still a possibility. I bet she comes in under 10wks, and is on the heavy side. I was running through the thread where I was growin the seed plants, and I remembered how she (and the superlolo mom) filled out from 4/5 wks on.

Run the SSH #6 from clone!

Work through some G/Sk f2's and Devil F2's when they come up.

That should take me through the end of March for projects to start, and by then I'll be poppin seeds and fillin up clone trays for outside :^)

Once I have a handle on the outdoor going out, I'm going to start with the SuperSpice project.

I was reading back through some posts here I missed....and about taking cuts for cloning from plants in flower.....

Where do you take those as a rule if you have a rule?

Do you think cuts from older, "woody" stems would do better? I've always had better lucky with the woodier cuts in the little cloning Ive done with NON cannabis plants. The soft tissue cuts seem more prone to problems, but I admit I have little experience with weed clones. That one I had last summer tuned out nice but that was just a fluke.

I may leave some growth on a couple of the plants I just flipped. Cut them when woody and see if that works for me. Might be fun. Maybe I'll keep a male and do a lil pollination for haha's.

The times I've taken cuts in flower I've taken them from lower, less developed branches. I've never taken anything with a 'bud' on it. When I get em in flower, they are all pretty woody. The ones in veg come from all over the plant. In perfect conditions, the soft cuts root fastest, but they are way succeptable to either rotting off or drying out. I try to bury a node and coat the clone with rootech gel.

Making seeds is sort of addictive, no? Especially when you see the babies grown out

Seriously bro, I don’t imagine where you find the time to grow so many plants, take so many pictures… and make so many posts :D

Plants look good, as usual. No wonder you always have something special to puff ;)
