What up fellers, thank you all for the many kind words. Trust me, I am just a dood who learned to grow sometime in 07, and REALLY likes it

Don't worry, as long as there is a down below, and a point and shewt, I'll have pix fer ya!
L - That SSH is the only plant that I've run 20+ times, and I'm STARTING to figgure out what she likes. She could give 2 shits if she has much roots at the onset of flower. She will eat a good bit once she gets a few leaves (and corresponding rootmass), and I like to put ~1 cup of castings and P guano/gallon of soil @ ~50-55 days as a topdress (worked in with a lil greensand/perlite/vermiculite), then leave her alone. The colors come out ~65-70 days if it is cold, if not, she will turn when hungry. I run her for 12 full wks from flip, with the last ~10 days staying nice and dry; the last ~3-4 days off to the side (not in the light 'footprint'). LOL, I love that plant
Hey I mixed up a soil batch the other day, and I'm starting to think that my recycled coco/peat mix is starting to break down. I started cycling it through ~October, and the current mix is probably ~80% recycled peat/coco by vol. I have been adding small coffee cans (2) of greensand to (1) of rock phosphate in the recycled soil, and I've been adding those 2 pretty heavy since ~aug/sept (meaning there is a good bit still to break down in the recycle bukkit from the get go with no addition, won't fully break down in a 2-3mo grow cycle).
Lemmie back up a lil. I have 2 ~30 gallon totes (flower, recycle), and a tote that is a lil smaller (~20 gal, veg). I have pretty much stopped adding additional coco and peat to the mixes. I will cut the veg mix ~2:1 with promix for clones and seedlings. I have been mixing my own flower mix for a while now. I started using bags of fox farm as a base, then adding bags of castings, and lil bags of perlite and vermiculite. I would topdress with guano and feed bottles throughout. I was just dumping the used soil into my outdoor compost pile. That got pretty expensive and inconvienient after a while, so I started to recycle the soil in a big tote. The first batch of 'flower mix' after I started recycling the soil (in a separate tote...) was 100% virgin coco/peat/perlite/vermiculite/rocks/fishies/poops. After I filled the recycle tote with ~20 gallons of used, I added ~5lb greensand, ~5lb rock phosphate, ~10lb castings, ~1 gallon (vol) crabshell, ~1 gallon AP (espoma bio-tone) fert, and a tub of Rare earth (3 or 4 lb). Let it sit another ~2wks (while adding maybe 8-10 gallons more 'recycle'), giving me ~30+ gallons of 100% used (1 time). I made my flower mix ~50/50 (added 10-15 gallons of recycle), and mixed in more rocks/poops/guano, and some perlite/vermiculite.
Since then, I've done the cycle completely 2 times (the recycle bukkit was completely empty after the last 'flower' mix), pretty much adding the same stuff, but not as much castings the last time. The flower mix uses the 'recycle' as a base, and I add (per ~30 gallons):
~3 gal ea of perlite and vermiculite (it is recycled, so there is plenty in there already)
~2 gal CrabShell (2-3-1, 1% mag, 20+% cal!!!, microlife loves it, buffers, slow release...)
~2 gal Greensand
~1 gal Rock Phosphate
~1 cup of powdered, and ~1lb of granular lime (I generally add some to the recycle bukkit when I add soil)
~2 gal AP organic dry fert (espoma bio-tone, 4-3-3 w/1%mag, 4% cal, and mykes)
~1 gal cottonseedmeal (6-2-1 I think, ~50% of total N slowrelease)
~2l (8cups maybe?) of P guano
~2-3lb ea of rare earth and diamond black (gen hydroponics)
I've been sprinkling in maxicrop in place of the algamin that I usually use. I've never used maxicrop until recently, and I've been adding less to the soil, and more to the water. This time I also added ~2 gallons of diatomaceous earth. I figgured, it is ancient fosslilzed water bugs, can't hurt.
On transplant, I sprinkle kelp, castings, and plant success right there where the roots sit, and after I add more flower mix, I work a lil P guano and bio-tone in the top of the pot.
I topdress ~ every 10 days or so (not if I re-pot) up to ~5 wks with castings, kelp, Pguano, and vermiculite.
I feed water, molasses, and either LK or kelp every time. I add compost tea made from filling a sock with 1-2cups screened compost (from OD pile), and working it like a sponge in a 3 gallon bukkit for ~5 min. I make castings/kelp/guano 'coffee' by putting ~2tbsp castings to 1tsp kelp/guano/rare earth in a metal coffee filter, running 6 cups of hot water through, then running cool water through the filter to fill the 3 gallon. I probably get them 3-4 total times with both the coffee and tea throughout flower. I also supplement PureBlendPro soil (1.5-4.5-5) or Age old (5-10-5) 1x weekly up to ~wk 7 (6 full). The bukkit will occasionally get splashes of EJ bloom, pee, and hand rinsings after working in the soil occasionally. I take a lot of care to not feed N (other than castings or what is already in the dirt) within 3 wks(minimum) from harvest. If I know how to finish a certain cut properly (ssh1, the lost Spice cut), I don't feed for the last ~4wks.
I'm expecting big things from the plants that are going into the current mix, as the rocks in there are deffo starting to break down after 6mo+

EDIT - Veg mix doesn't 'move' nearly as fast, and right now it is ~50% re-cycle, has the same things added (except Pguano, and everything in lesser amounts). I feed the veg plants sprinklings of castings/kelp/plant success if and when the plants look like they NEED it. I generally spray every plant some when I hit the clones with a weak LK/kelp spray. Usually the water they get is the leftover from those bottles (maybe 2-3 ml/l - ~1/2-1/4 recommended strength). My plants usually don't stay in veg long enough to have serious def's.
