Hehe ct, you inspired me to do a lil comparison. I have these techniflora nutes lying around, and I have plenty of PBP, so why not see who does what? Here is the medium:
2parts perlite, 2parts coarse coco, 1part vermiculite.
I hydrated the coco with an organic bloom boom tea with EJ, LK, guano, castings and maxicrop. I also added 4 tbsp of dolomite lime to the coco after I hydrated/flushed it. (added the 'flush' to my re-cycle soil bin).
Mixed it together and let it dry a lil. I added (to each gallon):
Handfull of castings, lil handfull of AP organic fert, 1tbsp of P guano all mixed in the top 1/2 of the pot. Lil sprinklin of plant success in the space the clones went.
My logic behind the medium/added ferts was to not have to worry about cooking young plants. I want the medium to feed for the first few wks, then I'll feed em.
They are iffy, and today is day 1.
I plant on watering with a very light kelp solution for ~10 days, then working up to full strength PBP/PBP soil for 2 clones, and 'BC Bloom/boost' for the other 2. I plan on adding molasses to every water, and every 3rd just being molasses/LK. I have some generic green stuff KaBloomie (~15-55-35) and some awesome blossoms (2-10-10) that I may play with after the plants grow a lil (wks 4-7 or so). I'll stop feeding ~9wks, and go to weak ewc/kelp/molasses waters for the last 2wks.
