those gals are flowering faster and with more yield than my NL5xAfghan at finish...these girls look wonderful and may be the next on my menu...like Cabron I had 75day NL5xAfg and really wish I would have tried this hybrid, i have to choose a line to replace the pack I just ran and your pics Chana have put this strain next to SSH and The Cure...was thinking SSH but your NL5xHzC are beauties, and with yields like that Shanti is on to another real winner it appears...kudos on the fantastic job so far

Hi mate brilliant plants and picks, iv not read through everything on here yet, was hard to grow chana ? CF.

Chana,

brother things are looking gorgeous and don't worry the buds will continue to pack on and the yields will be plentiful! Not much for me to say all I want to do is just look :D.

If this is day 35 of 12/12 then I'm convinced I can finish these things outside in the rather northern environment I'm in, especially because of those strange the bottom buds that seem to mature first indoors.

I'm okay with yielding a half a plant of crazy sativa smoke, it just means I gotta pop more beans!

Thanks for the amazing pictures and inspiration!

Pretty ladies Chana

Looking very nice old friend. I think you have done them up right. Will like to read a smoke report on those laddy. :)

Wow Chana,

Thanks for the update.
Those puppies are looking sweet!
they are a very uniform looking set aren't they?

Keep up the good work.

Greetings BH, Uncle Elmer, Wonk, Godislove, Cheese Fucker, Stoney P, Brother Gratphul, bfskins, my good friend Alegoblin, Ninja, Jesse, and the Bonsai Sultan...

Respect, love and green goodness to you all for sharing positive vibes. Sorry I haven't updated more, my room was kind of full and I didn't want to disturb the crop to much... I was able to get in and finally update.

NL5Hz?!?

Well for one, I can give these way more than 1200 ppm (E.C. 2.4). I am thinking a base of 1200 to 1400 ppm and then maybe in th 5th or 6th week, hit her with some 1400 to 1600 (E.C. 2.8 to 3.2). I am convinced after reading Gratphuls journal that I can double my yield with the higher feeding. Probably a good idea to apply Yo Sammy's NH recipe to the NL5 line.

So far we are 65 days in bloom and the plants are looking lovely (imho). They are very dense and coated in trichs.

Colours and flavours are Haze C for sure with twist of citrus. Looking forward to smoking out in a few more weeks.

I am letting the crop go until the photographers loop shows me amber trichomes... so far they are clear to cloudy and still in no rush to end their life cycle.

Since i have been feeding with light applications of nutrient, some leaves are yellow to white due to plant depleting all available fan leave nutrient.

Truly AAA meds going on with this line. This smoke is going to be so clean and smooth due to low ppm, it will defiantly be one of my best crops to-date re: flavour and potency.

Cant wait to run the different pheno's again.

Here are Shanti's NL5xHaze:

My friend

Chana,

My friend it never ceases to amaze me how well your plants look. Different strains, and different phenos very well taken care of. I see quite a great humbleness, and helping attitude within you. It shows in your gardening skills as well.

I had decided to go with another, but after this thread. I think I'll have to re-evaluate that decision. Looks quite nice, and I hope maybe soon. That you may have a same to report on. Be well...Ns

Hey Chana,

Beautifully done! Thanks for taken part in clearing the NlHz trail for us all... I plan on following you shortly ;) Enjoy! Peace!

Chana

great job brother,They all look great .It seems a large majority of the phenos are solid producers,Im sure you'll get a great yield with great smoke shanti has done an excellent job.

I await those smoke reports,im curious as to taste/ aromas

Hey Chana,
Awesome thread and amazing looking plants! So how are these 3 months later;)?

Cheers,
Sensi13

Hi S13... big question to sum up! This indeed was a great learning experience for me. I learned a lot and had great expectations.

I pulled the crop @ 90 days... some plants hermied, some plants held fast... I am still running a few! I said it before in pm to a mutual friend here... I think NL5hz new selection is really good commercial weed, or for at least the pheno's I grew out, but I can make the same amount of medicine and money with 8 and 9 week strain I am lucky to have.

I did not find a pheno like Gratphuls or YoSammy that would even warrant me wanting to keep any of them... Still have 5 or 10 of these f1 left, so I could give the rest another go to find that illusive one. I hope this is not seen as negative. Just was not really what I expected. I am going to my third attempt with selected pheno's, so final decision will be made after a short cure...

I am not sure you recall S13, but I also ran NH and G13Hz. Now G13Hz I was pleased with, smoke and high wise. It was very potent and uplifting... the yield was awing and I have taken my selected pheno's to 90, and 60 days... and still happy with the commercial harvest. So if you need to flip fast, or have an outdoor crop and weather or rippers are near, one could harvest this plant early so that dont lose the whole summer!

Maybe the thought will move forward, but I could write a weeks worth of thought on the experience...

Did you get a chance to try NL5Hz yet?

Respect Sensimilla13
