Black Widow x Zunami Test

very nice plants easty.

Sorry for the missing update last week, i took pictures but had no time to upload.

Stretch ended last week, buds are forming. Also some nice resin production all over the place.
Feeding now 1.2ml per Liter of NovaMax Bloom there is some yellowing on the larger bottom leafes, they also ran a bit dry last week, #5 seems the most sensitive there.
Overall things are good and i´ll try to keep the plants alive & happy.

Yours are looking amazing too, some great resin building already 😀 How would you say the stretch was for your girls? Did they go nuts or just the standard 2x stretch? Thanks mate!

Thanks, always good to have some space for the ladies.

There was some stretch, bit more than i expected, but not that never-ending stretch. Stopped just in time.
Hindsight i would do some LST on the plants to even out the canopy or top the plants in veg (if i had the space). Got lots of bottom growth that will suffer from the high-hanging lights now, but it wanted to see how the plants are behaving so it´s fine for this run.

That's great info mate, thank you! I was thinking I might top mine and let them branch out a bit. That will help me with space. I really want to just let them go but I'll lose height too quickly.

Day 1

I couldn't wait any longer ;)

Today I started one seed in a 2/3 perlite and 1/3 vermiculite mix soaked in a light nutrient solution with a root booster and some trichoderma.

My plan is to grow a single plant to explore the full potential on the first run and on the second run I will try a SOG with five plants.

Great News Mr. B, lookin forward for the report.

Here is this weeks update

Week 5: not much happening other than buds getting bigger, and denser.
So for the first time i stuck my nose into the plants and noted my impressions and thoughts while doing that for us.

#1: Slightly Sour, with a little apple, not super strong but it´s there. Surprised and interesting first impression. Feels like most indica type, not much resin production.
#2: similar smell to #1, a bit diffrent but can´t figure out the diffrence. much more resin than #1

then i accidently smelled #4 while thinking its #3.

#4: much more intense, it´s the sour-apple thing in more intense, i´m almost shocked so i smell again, it´s like i said before:intense sour-apple with the addition of some highly concentrated acid-citrus bath-cleaner smell. I don´t know how you call it, i said "funky smell", very special: it´s a nice, pleasant intense smell. Bud-structure also really dense, plant seems like the most "hybrid" plant of the pack. I´m hyped at this point, then realize it´s #4 and not #3. Let´s hope that smell translates to a good smoke.
#3: try to clear my nose and take a sniff of that #3: it´s not that intense, it´s similar to #4 but without the bathroom-cleaner smell, maybe my nose is broken after #4: i smell sour, sweet, fruity maybe bit earthy. Little bit of everything, no extremes
#5: i dont smell anything, either my nose is broken or there is just not that much small on that plant.

Still really impressed with the smell of #4 i start taking pictures, roll a big joint and edit these things into 2 pics and send it to the internet.

Day 14

After 2 weeks I dug out the seed today. The shell didn't break open and there was no sign of germination :(

I decided to try the next seed. This time I will soak it over night before I put it in the perlite/vermiculite mix.
