Little Afghanica hunt

This time, pre cut taking, photos...

My new cocomix is working very well.
All plants are pretty and healthy looking.

Shortly I will have to make cuts and flower...
Ortegas are quite smelly compared to their elders...
G13AS 4 is showing some kind off preflowers, so will keep an eye on it...

G13AS 4
-broader leafs then female 1
-earlier bushy structure

g134.jpg

Ortega 1
-very pretty colours
-tasty smells during this early stage

o11.jpg
o12.jpg

Ortega 2
-ok, both have unique colour palette

o2.jpg

Female G13AS 1

-she would love to flower soon :)
-growing more into sides

g1312.jpgg1311.jpg

Female Nordle 2

-bit bushier then G13AS
-bit broader leafs right now
-more afghani smells and bit darker colours
-wants to flower, preflowers everywhere

n22.jpgn21.jpg

They al look very nice and healthy!
Eager to see these flowering.:)

I see that there is a big difference in height, do you raise the smaller onces?

Greetings.

No, I want them to be testers for my light, kind off, want to see how they perform, and they keep short.. Oh also the G13AS4 is around month younger and both ortegas few more weeks tto that.

First off all Iam kinda sorry for lack of updates, I was real busy lately as each year around this time.

Secondly,, Iam sorry, as I didnt take fotos of mother plants, which are to be handed over to friend, to free some space, so there will not be any more.

But on the other hand, I will keep clone from each plant, before geting rid of them.

clones.jpg

So this is all I could easily get.
I can already tell you, G13xAfghanSkunk1 was pretty hard to clone, as it was so full of short lateral growth -> I can see it will be very nice plant once flowered.
Nordle2 on the other hand is great for cloning, it got some basic prolongued lianes, so cuting here was real easy.
- but only time will tell how fast they can root.

Score is 15x Nordles / 13x G13xAFS / 3x Ortega1 / 2x Ortega2

My cloning method is simple
-rootit sponges soaked in 6,0 pHed water with canna rhizotonic
-placed into rootit propagator
-add rootit gel into the plugs and some on the paper
-cuts were placed into fresh water immediately after cuting and then trimed like seen on foto
-ends of cuts smeared with rootit gel from paper
-placed into sponges in propagator
-finally before placing the humid dome on I have sprayed the cuts with cannacure mixture

ort1.jpg

Ortega1
-nicely bushed out plant
-dark green colour
-some pretty dank smell already
-some female preflower „seems like“ forming after toping

ort2.jpg

Ortega2
-strawberry like leafs
-not so bushy like Ortega1
-no smell at all
-no preflowers so far

Next time, Iam gonna show you how tester clones are doing
Nordle2f is making rapid flowers - (they will be powdered by reversed pollen)
Nordle2reversed is making huge balls
G13xAfS is behind, but also making flowers (also to be powdered by reversed pollen)

this Strawberry looking leaves has my fav taste .

Reminded me the old days when I first tasted Northern Lights.

Not sure if considered organic. Not sure if my organic food is even organic lol but anyway. Pretty sure it doesnt mess with your soil biology or plants.

I started by breaking up small chunks into my water before feed or water. It worked. Also now i just sprinkle some on top of my pots as needed. If i see something brewing ill sprinkle the whole grow. They r toast guaranteed. Water it in. Within 1 week they r gone.

Moaquito dunks and bits r the same

I use moquito dunks for funguass gnats. I had a hell of a time till i used the dunks. Zero probs ever since with gnats. Didnt see anyone suggest that so thought id share. Is easy too.
It is considered organic and very effective for gnats and caterpillars, though expensive compared to regular bt. I pre-soak the bt and then bottom water most of the time to keep topsoil dry to dissuade larva. Excellent for thrips too. I buy the powder form and just mix with water, molasses for foliar. Bt, H2O2, bleach, and neem in rotation should be in everyone’s armamentarium. These products are first line against pests and diseases. And don’t forget essential oils.

And also I must say, the most good thing to do is clean your environment regularly. I use to do 3 - 4 times per grow.

Once I saw gnats I do that immediately, but first I use vacuum and carefully take out all fling things, then I aproach to fight the rest, this time nematodes didnt help that much, maybe old batch, but neem was good :)
I have heard about the mosqiuito bits, but not to be sourced nearby.

Ah so bt is the cheaper version. Thanks mu! Always nice to save a few bucks.

cuts.jpg

So I think the cuts are doing great..
I believe one more week is needed, and another week for better health and root quality, will see about that.

O2 is female 100%, O1 I still need proof but I think the preflower is female...
Here I would like to keep O1 more then O2, because of its dark smells.

After I get rid of them I will keep one cut of....
G13 x Afghan skunk1
Nordle2
and Ortega (hopefully 1)

Upcoming seed project Ortega x Nordle (*Hedgehog~Nortega*) :)
Cant wait enought...

femseeds.jpg

Here is feminization
Nordle is already making N2 x N2rev seeds, I believe G13 x AFS 1 would shortly be pollinated too.
Iam continuously picking the reversed balls and shred them against the buds, but now there is enought pollen for collection ...

Then some of N2rev pollen will be stored for some future use....

g13as1.jpg

G13 x Afghan Skunk
- bloom just exploded
- generic afghani smells
- trichomes produce faster then buds

n24.jpg

Nordle 2

- dank skunky smells
- trichomes coverage
- fast bloom
- making fem seeds already

1. I have selected female plant and made two cuts.
2. Make them rooted and straight away to flowering. Spray one whole cut with colloid silver each day.

( I have used cosmetics colloid silver at 40ppm )
3. around 3th week, the cut should start looking like male, apply colloid silver till it looks like my photo.
4. Then collect pollen, or like me, pick few bigger opened male pods and squeeze above the female to be polenated

Whoala ! ! ! And now, you have made tens to hunderds of fem seeds yourself ! ! !

Warning: after use, throw the male away, and probably dont smoke the pollenated buds, cause there are *silver aprticles*.
