The Great Cheese Deception

You see, Jesse is doing precisely what I told you he would...

Instead of defending his indefensible Cheese theory he has switched to phase 2:

attacking anyone who disagrees with him

lol

You do realize I posted 4 quotes of you attacking me, and now it is me who is attacking you?

Perhaps you would like to me to point out the post I made, where I highlighted many of your previous trolling attempts, all of which went unanswered. You finally do it again in this thread, and I hammer your fraud ass to the wall. After ignoring your shit, over and over...

And now you're the victim?

lol

as I pointed out a few pages back, this is how a child's brain works

Clearly Jesse is still at the child brain stage, I can only hope that one day he matures into an adult brain, but as I suspect he's already a fully-grown man he's a hopeless case and will forever be an ignorant fuckwit with an offensive manner...

2010 - some utter fuckwit called Jesse takes the fictions about Cheese to a whole new level and manages to piss off the entire UK grow community in the process.

n public with dangerous fuckwits like Jesse around we have to be more circumspect.

You know, if I was completely innocent, I would take a completely different approach. But I get the sense you're on your heels, feeling quite defensive. Its always the other guy, isnt it British Hempire? Even when examples are set forth to show you that you're in fact the driving force...

You can curse all you like, come up with the joke time lines and attempt to mislead anyone dumb enough to believe you all you want. That will never change what you are British Hempire aka Big Buddha aka indifferent aka freefields aka .....

Em ...wait a minute, when was skunk No1 first available?

bloody years before that first pic on the thread, and some people here are trying to say no one ever found a really cheesy skunk no1 pheno for a few years?

pmsl...

1976 according to Sam.

1985 Sam had em for sale in Holland.

After that, skunk was so common who cares...

if you cant beat em - break em

*yawn*

You could break me with that bud, that's for sure, but I'd be happy, broken but happy... lol

Pray tell, what strain is that???

and did the keyboard ever work properly again after having that great weight placed upon it??? pmsl...

its not cheese

but it has the smelly cheese trait in her, its a jack flash, from an old 12 or 13 year old mom, its in the genes ... never before encountered such a smell, ok its hazy too .. but more on the chees side of "nose" things

its got a huge harvest window, anything from 70 to 110 days will be fine, no change in cannbionoid profile, just gaining weight

bc of my hobby .. it became a routine that i buy every year a new cheapo keyboard :D

that super skunk X haze which is passing on this trait must still be in the dronker castle

and just for the record, bc i like sometimes playing the wank wank game lol .. first time online was back then 1987 , yay .... lol

hf guys n gurls :D

Hiya Deran, there's a similar smell to cheese in a few strains, mostly afghan hybrids, yumboldy from sagarmatha was similar in some ways, when crossed to cheese it produced a great cutting better than cheese.

Cheers Elmer, reading that reminded me of some women I knew.

Maybe Jesse is a woman trapped in a man's body and that's why they are so warped and hate-filled???? pmsl

as im a sat head, i havent too much expiriences with affys, a few here n there but nothing cheese nosewise ... and i need to admit i havent had a single sargamatha strain ..

but i had an ex gf ... which had borderline ... that should qualify too, shouldnt it :D cuts to the bone (literally) .. and i thought ive seen it all before ... lol ... no war is so sick compared to self destruction .. brrr .. ewww .. damn ... im gonna have nightmares tomorrow lol

Obviously hempy's mother never taught him that when you haven't a clue it is better to STFU than blabber and make a fool of yourself...

Well, I didn't mean it like that. Someone should have taught hempy a few more lessons in manners and a few other subjects. Wasn't a jibe at anyone other than hempy so his mother has my apologies for any offence I may have caused.

Yeah, I remember that Blueberry, never managed to get hold of it personally but bought bags of it whenever it was available.

When I eventually got the DJ Short Blueberry they were't the same so I'd love to know what that english Blueberry was. Did you ever manage to get hold of it?

Never held the clone myself but I was close to the one person in my area who did have it. If I were to guess I would say it was a fruity Afghan hybrid but I could easily be wrong - my memory isn't as clear as it should be unfortunately! I do remember that even at that time he was charging £20 for 3g and people always snapped it up.
Anyway the guy who had it was busted and rumours abounded that he had turned Babylonian as all of a sudden lots of other growers had the dreaded knock at the door. They were scary times. Haven't seen the same Blueberry since. It was different in colour, flavour and structure to DJ Shorts blueberry so I would doubt they were the same.
Does anyone know of the legendary Chinese/Chinky Pinky cutting that did the rounds in the late 90's? It fucking stank and was very cerebral. Got its name as it gave people 'Chinese Eyes' or so the story goes. I'd love to get that back.
Now the Cheese has been covered and we are all agreed that there are many fakes (maybe call em Sleese!) and lots of people with experience of the real deal we should create a new thread detailing UK clone only strains to get a real feel for what is out there. Its only an idea. I'm waiting for CheeseHaze to turn up as I'm sure a 'breeder' in the Dam must be working on it so the hype can be cranked up a little more.
Keep it green,
TGM.

He didn't even answer any of the simple ones asked of him recently in this thread such as:

Have you ever grown the cheese cutting?

Have you ever smoked the cheese cutting?

Have you ever been to the UK?

etc etc

Come on Jesse, give us some answers not just more cut n paste bullshittery as per usual...

From about 92-97 I spent a lot of time in Switzerland and this was around the time the Swiss had their green time.
I had 2 very good english friends who were doing LARGE indoor grows and they had the Cheese cutting along with a few other special cuts.
Now my personal experience on the cheese was it was smelly, but compared to Sats that I smoked it wasnt up there and I was surprised by all the hype about it as I am surprised by all the bickering about it now.

Yes, sounds exactly like the Cheese - smelly but not worth the hype.

It was definitely in Switzerland, heard about it being grown there before.

The reason why Cheese became so popular is it is one of the few cuttings that when grown really badly as the commercial bods do (45 days, fed all kinds of crap, no flush, sold wet etc) retains it's smell/taste. You grow pretty much any of the other well known commercial cuts like Pot of Gold and Big Bud that badly and they turn into unrecogniseable generic crap. Cheese however, once you know that smell there is no mistaking it and that's a big part of why it became so popular - people associate stink with quality because badly grown weed usually has little stink.

A large part of Cheese's original popularity was down to the commercial usefulness of it, the people that had it made a lot of money out of it and that meant all the other commercial bods wanted it so it fetched a fair bit of money as a cutting, many hoarded it, purely because of the fact it always brought a good to great price commercially.

Pretty ludicrous for guys like hempy and Jesse to slate the whole UK community because of Cheese though, not many people were growing it for stash, the most highly regarded cutting around in the early 90s where I lived was a spicy NL5Haze that looked exactly like the picture in Nev's catalogue. Never managed to get my hands on that cutting but whenever it was available in bud form I picked up as much as I could afford. The other cutting that everyone wanted was called Coca Cola and I think that is another pheno of NL5Haze as it has the spicyness but also a sweetness, so it tastes a bit like Coca Cola.

Cheese was always the rage of the commercial scene, it's been popular in some circles for stash and still is but a lot of people think the same about it as Kanga and The Green Man and I have all stated - smelly but disappointing in the high. What Nevil said about Skunk being 'bland and uninspiring' also fits the Cheese and well it should with Cheese being a Skunk.

The idea about a 'UK Clone Only' thread might not be a bad one, show the haters with their ludicrous theories of a country they have never even visited (and now wouldn't be welcome in I suspect! lol) that we are much more sophisticated in out tastes than they realise...

I don't think any of my friends still grow Cheese, only people I know who do sell it all and smoke something else...

I second that British, good idea for a british only clone thread. One thing I like to add on the cheese is that it seems to be us new growers who have just come on the scene that go bloody nuts for it. Well the ones in England anyway lol. When I first started growing I desperate to get hold of the cut it was like the holy grail for me lol. One of the first things I noticed was that allot of the old timers though nothing it a bit like what Kanga was saying. Thankfully a very nice chap on here sent me a cheese version, it wasn't the original as we found out in the thread he started about it was still quite nice. I think it was psychosis cheese or something like that. We need to get rid of these bullshit names and start talking about straight genetics. I read in the earlier days of smoking weed was just called weed.

i think skunks are tough in general.
They either smell to much, or don't get you high enough.

I particularly enjoy some of the I.S.S more 12-13 week phenos too, but it just doesn't cut it in the high dept to grow a ton of it. It would be great outdoor especially further south but even the original 90 day skunks can be hit or miss.

The story of the island sweet skunk i'm sure could go on for pages too, but i believe its a more sweet sativa leaning original skunk, looks more like deran's buds then the typical sk1/cheese look

Aye, when I started growing in late 93 there were no weeds with names aroudn where i was living, it was all import and either 'African' 'Jamaican' or 'Thai'/ First time I heard of a strain with a name was 95 and that was skunk and northern lights, super skunk not long after, went to Amsterdam to buy seeds in 97 and discovered a whole new world of seeds...

A few of the imposter Cheeses are actually better than the Exodus cut.

I think the rise of Cheese coincides with the rise of home growing, 10 years ago there were few hydro stores and nowhere near as many growers, it was still the era of guys with 4-8 lights in a bedroom or garage pumping out decent quality to a small circle of people and cuts were hoarded, back then if you were a younger guy trying to get started you had little chance of getting hold of the cuts the commercial types were growing. Then the internet forums started, hydro stores opened everywhere and lots of younger guys got a light or two and a tent and started growing. Cheese was one of the top commercial cuttings at that time so it's natural it was the one all the newer growers wanted, they had been used to paying 20 quid for a small bag of it so quite naturally they wanted to grow the same thing themselves.

Without Brightside and a couple of other guys, the Cheese may not have survived the 90s, there just wasn't a culture of clone swapping back then, we all hoarded things and growers were more isolated and didn't know each other like we do now thanks to the internet. Used to be most of the growers you knew you had originally met in Amsterdam while you were both there buying seeds. Oh, and seeds were good in the 90s so we didn't put as much importance on individual cuttings as we do today. If you had a great Super Skunk or Shiva then you lost it you could just buy another pack and get it back.

Genotypes don't change...phenotypes (the expression of that genotype) can change, but the genes don't change unless you're playing with chemicals...Cheese is a specific expression of Skunk #1, and probably not all that rare if you know what to search for within the same genetic pool...hardly a must-have cut:eek:...jay:)

Genotypes can change in a clone over time as cannabis is only expected to live for a few months but the Exodus cheese clone has passed through many hands and growing environments over 23 years and been serially cloned and errors can and do occur during cell division.

There are, as far as I'm aware, about 4 unhybridised variants of the original 1989 mum and I have 2 of them, the Exodus and the Suicide cut, the Suicide being a better yielder and being the 'cheesiest' of the lot.

If they were just hybrids there would be far bigger differences between them methinks but they are very similar.

The cheese is alive and well and is all over the place.
