To be honest, I haven't had any luck with it yet. With the IR light! The yield was significantly higher, though. With the previous 15-minute IR light cycle, it even seemed to me that the plants stretched a bit more. But I have to say: "During the day, in addition to the LEDs, I also used a far-red light for sleep and wake-up. Deep red 600-660nm. I'd have to check the light bar, I think it was 600nm as supplemental lighting. Either from the side, from week 4 onwards, and as a top light. So, during that time, I had so many problems with hermaphrodites!
I'll try it again in the future. But if it consistently produces unsmokable weed, you put it aside after a year. So, I'm looking forward to your grow. I made the mistake of trying new strains every time.

9 days later and they look nice.
It is a little bit colder outside, growth has been a little bit slower than usual.
I gave them one feeding of 3ml/L Alga Grow and it shows, just rainwater from now on.
CMH is at 345w, RH is low around 40% and temps between 15-21°C.
In a couple of days I will select the 12 best looking plants and put them in 20L buckets.
The SSH are the biggest (back row).
It is a little bit colder outside, growth has been a little bit slower than usual.
I gave them one feeding of 3ml/L Alga Grow and it shows, just rainwater from now on.
CMH is at 345w, RH is low around 40% and temps between 15-21°C.
In a couple of days I will select the 12 best looking plants and put them in 20L buckets.
The SSH are the biggest (back row).

Yes, I I used the 20w led for seedlings this year.
Works great!
I could add another bar but don't need it imo, pherhaps I will try it with SSHxAC seeds.

I made the selection today and planted them in their final pots.
-4x SSH keeper cut (still very vigourous, 3 of them are the biggest)
-4x Honolulu Haze#12 keeper cut
-2x Westerns Winds keeper cut
-2x Honolulu Haze#3 keeper cut
They are planted in Light Mix ammended with 350ml Bat Guano in each pot.
Fired 1 320w led up alongside the 315cmh. It is still fairly cold here, the extra heat of the CMH is welcome.
Next weekend should become warmer, I will pull the CMH out and replace it with another 320w led.
Now some gentle vegging, they only get water.

One week further in veg and they are about ready to go into flower.
Temperature outside is getting hot so I swapped the CMH with another 320w Led.
I have 2x FC 4000 evo's and one G4500 in de middle.
I only gave them water past week.
Temps are around 19-25°C, humidity at night is around 65% but during the day I barely get 50%.
This shows a bit, some leaves are dry looking and slightly curling.
I will give them Calmag + Silic Rock with the next watering.
Led's are now at 30% each until I see improvement.
The fan that is blowing directly on them is off for now.
Impressive growth in just 7 days:
Super silver haze cut is around 10 years old now, she still is very vigourous.
When opening the shack I could smell ony her sweet incensce smell.
Western Winds cut.
Honolulu Haze#12 cut.
Honolulu Haze#3 cut.
I will start flowering in 2-3 days.

How do you deal with the coming heat and humidity?
We run similar set ups in the summer so figured I should ask some questions to learn.

We are indeed swimming in the same waters.
Summer is yet to start but we are having around 30°C for the past days and looks like it will be the same for next week.
The exhaust fan hangs as high as possible to pull out the warmest air first, the passive intake is on floor level to suck in the coolest air.
I have a fan directed just above the level of the led lights to pull the heat away faster from the drivers.
Next to that I flower at night time when it is cooler. I do have solar panels now so I will probably change that a bit to benefit from these for half a day.
The exhaust is run harder at warm days.
Humidity is more of a problem from september on, now the air is a bit to dry around here.
These are far from perfect conditions but the plants can handle it.
Are you doing something otherwise or better?

Summers here are humid and hot, so I have to have AC & humidifier. This year I put them in the back diagonal corners venting it thru the passive floor intakes. My “challenge” is that it’s not a sealed room, the ceiling is exposed beams with the attic flooring above it. As such, the room doesn’t ventilate as well as a tent. Considering sealing better with 4x8 insulation panels.Thanks Skuncle Lenny.

Day 6 of flowering (12/12).
Everything is on track, the SSH queens are clearly in a another league regarding growth.
I'm happy to able to hang the lights in different hight levels while still mainting a fairly even light strenght at canopy level.
New cuts for mom's are made and the lowers will be pruned later this week.
I will rearange them at the same time.
This week they will receive their first feeding of 1ml/L Alga Bloom.
Past week was warm here, temps were between 20-26°C and humidity between 50-70%.
Leds are at 55%.

So far I'm happy with this combination of lights.

I see that they are very responsive and want to flower, every plant except the SSH are behaving quite civilized and will not strech much.
The SSH ladies on the other hand are just being themselves and are reaching for the skies, the vigour is outstanding.
I will bend or give them a pinch if they keep going.
Insane If you look at what 2 weeks of flowering resulted in growth.
Plants seem very happy so far and I like the lighting combo.
Leds are around 70% now.
