The Cure kicked off their 2022 world tour in Latvia tonight (Thursday October 6), debuting two new songs and welcoming guitarist and keyboardist Perry Bamonte back to the band. Check out footage and the setlist below.
The icons, supported by now-regular touring partners and one of frontman Robert Smith’s favourite bands The Twilight Sad, began their long run of 2022 dates with a show at Arena Riga in Riga this evening – airing two new songs fans assume are from their long-awaited new album, ‘Songs Of A Lost World‘.
7 1/2 weeks flowering. The outdoor temperatures here have gotten much colder and has forced me to move everything from the garage into a spare bedroom inside. Historically it’s not this cold until a month from now. Fortunately I have options
The Cure plants are very consistent. Slight variation in bud structure with some being a little more pointy and some a little more round, but overall the smell is beautiful. Fruity, flowery tropical very pleasant smell, accentuated when I had to move all the plants. Definitely worth the effort .
Naturally, some are a little further ahead than others, one is shedding/defoliating itself more than the others, and they all have excellent structure allowing light to penetrate.
Long way to go still, so these girls are gonna be fat
My Great Pyrenees hair loves attaching to buds
This is a very nice plant. 10 girls, great structure, support needed for most, and buds haven’t even fattened up yet.
Great genetics yet again
While THE CURE is 2 weeks into their European tour, mine has reached 9 weeks flowering.
MNS Write up looks dead on:
“… indoor flowering one should be able to find a nine weaker but the range would be normally 10 to 12 weeks… Depending upon the phenotype selected as a mother.”
Here’s the earliest looking of the group:
Next in line visually =
Last looking finishers, visually more Haze dominant =
There’s more, but this is a good visual sampling.
Aroma wise, as expected there’s a wide range. I did the old squeeze and sniff and these are some of the thoughts: very hard, solid buds, sticky, the y buds are the fatter buds while the more conical buds are showing the most complex aromas ranging from sweet, to pungent, to cologne like, to skunky.
Being fortunate enough to yield 10 Cure females is going to provide me with a nice selection of phenotypes and some serious yield.
Looks like The Cure #1 will be ready at the 10 week window closing Tuesday 10/25.
I like putting to dark for 36 hrs b4 so tomorrow night she goes to the dark and dry dungeon b4 guillotine.
Her 9 sisters have, at my guess, 1-4 weeks. Bud squeeze and sniff=Hashy, tart, stickyyy, …
It’s been a Hellova Tour, and while the curtains start to close Tuesday, I’m predicting a 9 song encore
I’ll produce a final solo picture when I pull her out so we could get a good look at her by her self
Good night Irene, and Tuesday morning will be time to “Cut Here"...
5 ft tall from floor, 4 ft from top of pot. Topped her once, obviously
Frosty, yellowing, sticky and ready
2nd & 3rd aren’t far behind, and then a gap.
Gonna have a load of Cure shortly
Next up for The Cure is an untopped lady, yet same height of 5 ft from floor, 4 ft from pot.
She’s Sticky, she’s a Lit’le bit sweet, yet hashy/skunky.
Very brown pistols with about 10-20% amber tri’s.
Main cola is forearm length.
Very colorful buds, though naturally a hit accentuated by the LED’s
She goes to dark at 7pm and will be chopped 7am, 72 days matured/flowered.
The AC dominants have weeks to go. Another 2 Afghan/Skunk dominants and then comes patience

Batting 3rd for The Cure, is this topped lady with nice fat orange haired buds
Look, structure, hard buds with similar stickiness to her prior 2.
The remaining 7 have more variety in looks and time left.
This one above got bud rot and I removed the top cola, and I still have this…smh
Sure, the green screen accentuates things, but they are veryyy colorful, and pretty too
11 weeks thru flowering, 3 girls down and 7 to go.
Don’t you love Fall colors???
It could be my imagination, but it appears to me as if the ones with the more conical buds will be ready next, while the Haze influence buds have a ways to go. The buds are simply freaking beautiful. Rock hard and continuing to grow. Trichomes are generally uniform cloudy with only some amber found on those conical buds I mentioned. Aromas continue to be consistent with Afghan/skunk with hints of both sweetness and skunking us at times. The haze dominant buds are different, and more unique smell that I’ll try to describe overtime but I am aroma description challenged…
Stats for the 1st 3 of The Cure harvested:
1st-10 weeks: 22g Top Shelf; 14g Mid; 10g for edibles=46g total.
2nd-72 days: 38g Top; 25g Mid; 6g edibles 69g total.
3rd-73 days: 37g Top; 30g Mid; 12g edibles 70g total.
I KNOW THIS IS FRESH BUT THIS IS STRONGGGG
A 2 hitter bong hit put me on the couch for 20 minutes and that very rarely happens without the aid of kief or concentrate.
I tried a second and third to test it and similar results. Amazing.
#4 being harvested tomorrow morning, so that will be 81 days, 11 1/2 weeks.
Similar structure, size, rock hard symmetrical buds.
Trichomes went from cloudy to 25% amber rather quickly the past week or so.
These freaking genetics are amazing. I grow a very simple organic mix with very little additives and these results are, yes, amazing
Shanti
#5 got chopped this morning at 12 weeks. The Haze genetics are starting to stand out with time.
This one’s different. Not only are the buds showing the haze influence, but last month I had to cut off the top Cola due to bud rot. Since then the buds have just continued to get rockhard and have a distinct, unique aroma to them.
After taking pictures I noticed how brown one bud looks too brown on the top cola and I cut it off, I’m glad I did, as it also had a little bit of bud rot. Only plant of the whole group that has any bud issues.
Halfway home with 5 girls done 10-12 weeks. We’ll see how long the remaining 5 take. No rush here

The fun continues with wrapping up The Cure Tour.
#6 was cut yesterday and #7 tomorrow.
Bud structure is very similar to last photos.
I have 3 left and we’ll see how long they go. 2 have Haze bud characteristics tails and 1 has long conical buds.
I still can’t stop micro sampling Cure 1 as it punches me in the face like Mike Tyson every time and it’s only two weeks since harvest.
I’m a fan of The Cure
