This is a 70 day pheno of the Super Silver Haze strain. I don't know how much time I will have, but I will try my best to finish it successfully ;) ...

Yesterday (25.2.2023) I planted the cuttings directly in a 3.5 l pot with pure coconut.

Fertilizers: CannaCoco
Tent: 80x80x180cm
Light: LED 240W (currently running at 40%)

Let's do it...

Thanks for sharing @pforum176!
Really excited to see your pheno, cuts look great.
Good luck with the grow!🍀

Greetings.

Hello after a week,

9 day of growth.

I'm currently struggling with low temperatures (day 22°C, night 18°C) and low humidity (40-50%) which will surely slow down growth :(... I'm working to improve ;) ...
Since yesterday, I have been watering with a solution (pH=5.8 EC=2.2) once every two days.

To Swifty:
Thanks for support. The cuts took quite a long time because I didn't have free space.

During the growth, I want to show photos of the selection to make waiting for flowering a little more pleasant.

Have a nice rest of your Sunday.

Looking good! I wouldn't worry about those temperatures too much. Down to 5c here today. 0c overnight 🥶🥶🥶

Hello everyone,

today is day 15 of growth and I'm a little disappointed.

There are still big temperature fluctuations, the humidity is a bit higher (50-60%),but the flowers don't drink and I need to feed them properly.
On top of everything, I bent them too early (trimmed the middle ones) - this method of cultivation has proven very useful, but I am not doing very well at the moment.

To DannyTwoJoints: Thanks for the encouragement ;)

low temperatures = need to heat = low humidity = need to humidify = mold on the walls

The girls will have to grow up for a longer time.

Yesterday the first solution with EC=2.35 pH=5.8

Promised photos from the selection (I have few photos and they are not of very high quality, that's why I didn't start a separate topic)

I will start with the longest flowering variant under the name "SSH".

I transplanted the cutting into a 1 liter pot and immediately switched to a flower with a 200W LED.

1. Photo 36 day of flowering
2. Photo 44 day of flowering
3. Photo 50 day of flowering

After 50 days in flower, she wandered for 600W HPS.
Due to lack of space, I harvested it on the 89th day of flowering.

4. - 9. Harvest

Photos of dry material are missing.
The best of all!
Unfortunately it bloomed for too long and I knew I was headed for NevillesHaze.

I would describe the aroma and taste as sweet nutty (I have absolutely no talent in describing anything).
The effect after 3 months was amazing. A good mood, a smile on my lips and a seemingly distorted vision... I can't describe it better :( ... more than 2.5 hours of absolute well-being :) ...

Hi Growers,

it's time to introduce the second pheno from the selection.

Immediately after rooting, the cutting was transplanted into a 1 liter pot and switched to a flower without a growth phase (LED 200W). After fifty days of flower moved under 600W HPS.
Harvested after 84 days.

In terms of smell, taste and appearance, SSH2 is almost exactly the same as SSH. The difference is in the flowering time, height and density of the buds.

The effect is again great (although not so long), with the difference that at the end you feel very tired :(

I can again describe the smell as a sweet smell of nuts/hay/wood/earth...every time I smell something different :) ...

The next set of photos is from the second round when I tried to trim the SSH2.

Growth: 35 days
Flower: 80 days

About half way through flowering, I reduced the fertilizers at the wrong time and the result can be seen in the photos from the 58th day of flowering.

Hello Swifty,
I like this shade of green too:).

I just need to improve the fertilizing. I can't figure out when to start flushing. Around 7-8 weeks the flowers appear to be mature (about half of the trichomes are milky) but then new flowers begin to sprout which start to stretch again but the canes then lose their pretty appearance. Maybe it's the LED light, which is very strong and overshadows the plants. Then the plants look like they are on steroids.
I would appreciate it if you could advise me when the time is right.

The second pheno is currently resting in the jar and every day I stick my nose in the jar to smell the beautiful sweet smell :) ... (I would love to buy a perfume that smells like this 😁)

Hello Pforum176,

I am a soil grower, not so much experience with coco (tried it in my early years of growing) but here are my thoughts:

-Feeding is done accourding to the plants needs, mid flower is the peak in need of food (when the buds swell the most).
-Lighting with powerfull LED's can be strongest in the period when they build the most flowers.
-Keep in mind that indoors you should mimic nature a bit (last weeks of flower you can dimm the light a (couple, gradually) step back, you can also do this with the feeding.
-I find it better to not push more sativa pheno's with feeding/ lighting. With new cuts I don't know I experiment with the feeding in a single run (half strong feeding and other half light) to compare the end product and keeping notes of the grow (trial and error).
-In flower you usually see 3 periods of making new pistils ( approx. week 3, week 5 and week 7-8 with 10 week strains). Feeding after the 2nd period should be lesser. I always try to harvest after the 2nd reflowering.
-LED's can make trichs turn sooner, I always look at the trich's on the buds. Not at the trich's on the leaves that surrouds the buds (turn faster).

Now in your case I would feed a little gentler overall and I would start to step back after week 6-7 ending with the last week of pure water.

I do believe that there are a lot of more experienced growers here with coco that could help you better.

Enjoy your SSH!

Hello everyone,

today is the 17th flower day and the girls look happy. Unfortunately, I will not be able to fill the space as I imagined.

pH = 5.8
EC = 2.03

Light on at 70%.

To Swifty:
According to what you write, I should be harvesting SSH1 for 63 days. Well, we'll see when there are photos from that period.
Thanks for the advice ;) ...

No problem, we will see when they are ready. Forgot to mention something important...
I start at 12/12 and by week 8 I'm at 11/13 (shortening days).

Plants look right on track, good job.(y)

Greetings.
