Have yawl seen pink/purple trichomes???


These came from Shantibabaseeds Auto Gelato, also grown outdoors, and possibly a similar genetics & 50’s temp.
Being cured now and interested in seeing/tasting to determine if visual translates to taste n smell.

Another week has past with big hopes for September.
2 girls in pots are only 5g so not too big. Bottom all clean. Itsy bitsy teenie weenie PM that is target sprayed daily(shout out to LB).



Pink pistils remain, so far.


Other 2 in the raised bed are also doing great



But the BIG question is:

For rain I'll shake the plant and sometimes use a leaf blower to dry the plant. And check for mold every day.

A leaf-blower! Great idea. Never owned one before but now that you mention, I need one! Glad you girls "weathered" that well.

A leaf-blower is also great for drying your car if have a nice, expensive, paint job, especially black. It does not leave micro-scratches, swirls, streaks, etc.

As big and spacious my backyard is, the GD old maple trees block the garden from direct for all but 4-5 hrs/day this time of year(lower angle ).
Pinkie’s are fattening up nicely, but they could be if more direct . Been moving around 2 buckets…


Still doing their best Pinky Tuscadaro, but expect that to fade to brown

Last year I started my F1 7 weeker through feminization getting more seeds than I’ll ever need with the ultimate plan to run a complete grow of 10 or 12 to see how consistent the Fems are and if any more stand out and finish b4 October.
While I didn’t get to run 10-12, the 4 I did run produced 2 with the same quick finish:


Though another week thru months end was possible, the weather forecast of clouds and rains this week, I prefer now. Buds have firmed up(not as much as seen indoors).



The remaining 2 MKS are in the raised bed and under canopy and need more time.
I’ve hung and they’ll go into Cannatrol for the 4d dry + 4d cure.

Getting closer everyday for the 2 ladies in the bed…
Weather isn’t helping, but the open canopy is:

All covered except the outer edges, but all looks PM free per my daily inspection.


Based on the trichome cloudiness, my 1st trigger is


The pink pistols have remained, along with a fruity aroma.



From base to top is 6’6”.

I did a selective harvest on 10/1, cutting the upper branches and impressive tips, letting the rest of the plant go another week with the other MKS.
150g wet into Cannatrol + another 66g drying in a humidity ‘controlled’ basement room.
Sweet, fruity aroma when trimmed.
Gonna have plenty of MKS for the holidays

Well, on that note I’ll agree.
2 outdoor MKS yielded 13 zips, not counting buds for edibles.
Not too shabby
Smoke is exactly as labeled.
Definitely Kushy earthy followed by Skunky.
A good late day with a nice
I’m generous with my outdoor grow, so family and friends will be happy
