Shanti & Nev will you work with the blue lines?

For what it is worth I knew a couple of specimens of Blue Mystic; I understand that this might possibly be (any takers?)something like a Dutch production clone Blueberry crossed to a skunk or whatever Nirvana were supposed to father with;

One plant was fairly Indica pretty chucky buds and several flushes of male flowers and "blueing" (purple pigments)

second plant more stretchy, less, or not blue (memory fails) & wispy buds

both plants had the same bouquet & flavour - sort of wooly blueberry - quite a distinct smoke and the high was the same both cases too; medium strength with a kind of wooly mellow buzz; it got you there but wasn't too exciting

Years before I got sold what I was told was Blue Mystic (but on the black market I take any claim with a pinch of salt); This stuff was cracking strong; fairly fluffy but really really covered in tricromes - I don't recall anything other than a resiny taste but it rendered one comatose

damn man, sorry to hear about the dog. the rest i have no opinion on but do find the post on the blueberry lines and the diversity held therein to be quite helpful. keep on keepin on!

I've had an extremely tough day today finding out my 10 year old companion, the smartest and kindest dog I have ever known, is on his last legs. I've just found out in the last hour that he's bleeding internally and we're awaiting the results from tests to determine if he has cancer or not, and if we will have to put him down tomorrow. I'm gutted, destroyed, to say the least.

Sorry to hear about that.
I have a 17 years old Pit-bull so I can understand your feelings...

you've already stated publicly that you are holding an axe to grind over something I wrote to you what 5+ years ago now.. so I find your agenda questionable. To put it succinctly, your comments are spurious at best, and hold zero in terms of internally consistent logic.
-Chimera

I wonder who really is "holding an axe here"...

Please, Chimera, could you show us where did I stated that you wrote something to me. If you take the time to read again what I in fact posted, you will see that your name was only mentionned in order to put in context what I and others had to endure for stating the truth back in the days at OG and CW.

You say that you never banned me back at OG when you were the moderator of the S&H forum...I am willing to believe you but that does not change the fact that you did not helped either...you have let others banned me for nothing.Isn't it a bit odd to behave this way while you were in reality supposed to moderate the forum for the best.

The only one with an agenda, as much as I can see, is you.
The reality is that you had a falling out with Steve when he decided to begin a micropropagation project which you considered was yours. Before this moment you never had anything bad to say about Steve, it all changed after that and since then I have only see you post multiple slanderous accusations toward Steve on several forums like the one which follows:

they are clearly speculation based on one of steve's many angry cocaine rants

You know Chimera I left precisely Icmag because of those kinds of insinuations which are very common there. I have seen at least two of your colleagues at Icmag making similar insinuations towards other breeders there. I don't want to be part of such a community.

the pollen donors included were selected by me

But isn't it the same for True Blueberry, Grape Krush, Vaniluna...and yet I do not see you say that you created them.

Peace.

K.

Hi all,
I am myself truly sorry to learn of the news involving your dog Chimera, you have my best wishes brother! I am a big fan of canines, and I'm quite fond of my own pooch! So I can definitely understand where you're coming from.

Kash, if there was any justice in the world people like yourself, hempy and others who exhibit a true passion for the plant and the industry would take their rightful place as true players in a field that is no doubt driven by the internet based message board system and its various branches of communication and commerce exchange. You are definitely among the most knowledgeable and elite posters on the forum and we are all lucky to have a poster of your experience level participating with us.

bowing in... i have a cut of Blue Dream via cali Dj Short 99' Super Silver Haze x BlueBerry. amazing. The genepool is there. I also have some seeds and clones of NevilleBerry Haze. Got my fingers crossed. Thank Chimera, Nevil, Shanti, short, and all breeders and lovers of cannabis.

Additionaly, the 'supposed' NL X Haze plant which was passed onto steve as clones, were A) supposed to be female and B) labelled Big Skunk. All this tellms me, it could be ANYTHING.

Anyone claiming that there is no NL#5Hz in Sweet Blue doesn't really know what they are talking about.
I would put my two hands under Chimera's axe that there is for sure some NL#5Hz in Sweet Skunk and Sweet Blue.
This fact alone shows me how much ignorant you are about the strain you are though claiming as your own.
Maybe we should run a test and ask for Nevil's expertise?

Peace.

There was a rumor that Sweet Skunk was either part Big Bud or NLxHaze. I believe Chimera wrote about this somewhere online (Probably icmag) saying it's utter bullshit and that he did genetics work testing similarities via genetic markers and the bloodlines proved to be unrelated.

WTF a ? dirrected at Shanti and Nev and neither 1 took the time to answer

So we going to give both a yellow card for not answering lol.

Dj did use one of shantis work that was the widow think it was blue moonshine i have not grown any of djs lines out my self but from what i hear and heard from a few there nice looking some are nice tasting but lack real potency.

Ether way people like his lines.

No ones claimed that have they? all that chim has said here is that there is NO SPG in it whatsoever.....

He has stated that theres no White in his lines... BM is derived from the Blueberry pool....

And @ Kash

I plan to continue to create these tools for future breeders to work with, no matter what people who weren't there, and just don't know, choose to say about them. It's certainly not about me, or us, but how we comport ourselves with respect to the cannabis genepool and what we leave as genetic resources for future breeders to work with. If anything, Blueberry et al should be seen as a lesson for what can happen with excessive inbreeding with low population numbers, in an outcrossing species.

to me thats all that counts....

Steve had zero, zip, zilch to do with the production of either of these lines.

What a joke.

Steve was just the first one to take into a consideration the mother of SwT1.1 that he had found in 1994 as a clone and that he dubbed himself SPG.
Steve only selected the mother of SwB from 500 seeds of the SwSk strain he had created a long time ago in 1994.

What more can I say...

Chime can continue to produce SwT1.1 and SwB seeds I do not care.
What I really hope is that in the future he will stop fooling his customers with his stories about Steve and his work.

Why would they want to bother to reproduce it? First off it's someone else's work(DJ's). Second the strains are unstable and produce many different phenos. I haven't found a Blue that I liked. I'm running a exclusive Blue Velvet cut now, so we'll see.

I dont know mate im going by what i read years ago and this...

Blue Moonshine
PRICE: $175 CAD

The “Blue” version of the “White” family (White Widow, etc). A super potent blueberry Indica, coated with a strong concentration of tall standing trichomes. Produces a very narcotic experience - body high blueberry. Short, stout kush plants that produce dense, tight, rock hard nuggets of trichome coated bud. A true “hash plant”.

The reason people want Nevil and Shanti to work the line is precisely due to it being unstable-lets bottleneck the magic, cause its there
it ain't about raw potency-i'd take one zip of the 1998 bubbleberry or olde NL/BB offering over 4 of the OG and Chems and Diesels out there
its not about raw power-its about feeling like your enveloped in the embrace of the universe-a good blue pheno is that good-i'm surprised you haven't run into one that you cared for yet JJ
Due to lack of response, I can only conclude Nev and Shanti aren't really interested in this noble pursuit imho

Hi I remember it caused some confusion here was Dj's reply

Blue Moonshine cannabis seeds IS NOT a White Widow cross. It is similar to the "Whites" only in its glandular resin coating. Blue Moonshine cannabis seeds is a cousin to Blueberry, and is derived entirely from within my personal gene pool collection. - D.J. Short

High bro!
It's only comparison. BM have no out-line genes in it (imho bm and flo are best for explore dj lines,,, especialy bm is pretty great line due to more indica leaning, it's healthy that typical OPT-like plants). DJ thought the coverage of resin :)

(pic by bro františekzeleny, it's BM narrower selection - OTM)

very nice coverage from the look of it....

No I just think to shows disrespect to a person that took time to post a question dirrected at them.
