Do it Ken, I wanna see another Med Man zunami run to see how it compared to my own
stellar grows all round,
got to get the MedMan x Zunami's plugged into planet earth,
but not before i smoke at least 2 joints, and 2 joints before i smoke 2 more,
inspiring gardens
She was living in a single room with three other individuals
One of them was male and the other two
Well, the other two were females
God only knows what they were up to in there
And furthermore, Susan, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn
That all four of them habitually smoked marijuana cigarettes
Reefers...
Incredible photos Diesel. Can I ask, to get the background so dark, are you taking the photos in the dark yeah? Some shots of the gals on their 9'th week in flower.

5HzZu#1 Is just beginning to get cloudy.
5HzZu#2 Split her stem but is doing just fine. I took a picture, but it seems to have been deleted, and a bunch of the photo's names got mixed up when I made the pics smaller. I'm not sure what happened. I'll post up a new pic in a few days. She is just beginning to show amber. Her smell is on the weaker side. She has the most purple and is one of the two most nitrogen hungry plants.
5HzZu#3 This girl is the loudest of the five, she has a strong scallion garlic smell mixed with an intoxicating mag Champa style incense. She is the greenest of the bunch, not only with less purpling, but also the darkest leaves.
5HzZu#4 This pheno has the most developed flowers but still has clear which are just starting to cloud. She has a high calyx to leaf ratio. Her smell isn't strong but has a woody/deepness to them. This is the other nitrogen hog of the group and has the most fade in her leaves.
5HzZu#5 This gal unfortunately has the least amount of aroma, even behind #2. There is practically no smell, even when I rub her stem, or her flowers are touched. She has floppy stems which are having a difficult time supporting the flowers.
Thank you Lozac . No, I am not taking it in the dark, though they could use better lighting. They are taken in front of my Gorrilla 3x3 Shorty. There is an overhead light on that has a warm spectrum bulbs, and my mother cab to the side and behind with cool lighting. I actually hold a flashlight to the side to add more lighting. No flash. I get the backround to darken by upping the contrast and increasing the shadows. I feel like it makes the flowers pop and helps draw the eyes. Just don't overdo it, or you'll make it harder to see certain details as the whole flower will begin to darken. Just put your plants in front of a black surface and play with the brightness, contrast, shadows, and highlights until you get the effect you want.Incredible photos Diesel. Whilst I didnt do the haze zunami run, I did do the medicine man and I found the same, that they took a touch longer than expected. the plants were super BLD so was expecting them to be very quick, but pulled them at around the 70 day mark. Im assuming with the haze influence it can easily go past the 12 weeks though? Well done man
Oh very interesting. The lighting really makes them look great- brilliant idea using the tent, totally gonna steal that idea!Thank you Lozac . Yeah, that Haze could certainly add an extra week or two. Also, they are still on 12/12. I haven't shortened the day hours to encourage ripening.
It's looking like I'm going to have to to chop #2 early. She is one of the hungriest plants and is quickly turning yellow. Unfortunately, a mishap snapped the clone and I couldn't get the top to root. I went a few days without heat and the rooting clone wasn't happy. #2 has the prettiest folliage, so, I will reveg her. I need to chop her asap though, so that she is green enough to properly re-veg.
How did you like the Medicine Man?
Glad I could help.Oh very interesting. The lighting really makes them look great- brilliant idea using the tent, totally gonna steal that idea!
Maybe you could get the yield up with some lst or scrog, and selective defoliation? Then you'd be able to keep the nicer one. Or, maybe grow out a second high yielding strain such as Critical Mass. That way, you get yield with Critical, and headstash with your keeper. From the nice plant I ended up with only 50.6g including popcorn nugs. I've burnt through it already unfortunately, but I have kept a cutting on it as it really was a lovely smoke. Just in my position I can only grow two plants, so I need to make some tough decisions soon
I haven't tried it, but you could always experiment with grafting multiple strains onto one root stock. A single mum could theoretically suppport multiple strains.I can only grow two plants, so I need to make some tough decisions soon
So I've tried scrog , lst and selective defoliation, they're three methods I use regularly to try and push up the yield, normally to success. I just find the vertical growth so slow. The cutting I've kept is about 3 months old now, and it's still only 12 inches high. Meanwhile the two plants that I've started off since, they are around a month old now and are the same height with much more vigor. I did a bit of reading a while back and apparently zkittlez is traditionally a bit of a slow grower, so I am assuming both phenos I have grown are more leaning towards the zkittlez rather than med man.Glad I could help.
