Well, @musashi! What is the story with this 'Ruby"?
Did you find it in Walmart parking lot while stalking 'Walmart Hotties'?
Did you turn it up while plowing the 'back 40'?
Will it be cut into earrings for your girl friend?
Or perhaps attached to a belly-button ring?
With your new camera, not sure if I am seeing a grain of sand or the Rock of Gibraltar.
Also, I thought Rubies were red?

Ha! A certain morbidity. You'll notice the pic of the ruby posted on Tuesday. Ruby Tuesday. Didn't want it to be a downer as I mentioned earlier a dear friend dying from a fentanyl OD. Being a bit of a gemologist, he had scored several rubies at a gem show for me. They were a gift for my medicine bag. And BTW they range from dark red to pink with the better ones being darkish red to purple red. RIP John.

That's an awesome shot, reminds me that canoe season is right around the corner. I'm curious about the lava rocks along a river like that. Do they smooth out much over time? If not, canoeing through that would be quite treacherous

I already knew the rif but not the guy, it was his fields, we stopped and I talked to him

the best field i no have pics but ketama was just amazing comparated to this pics is a poor soil ketama the soil is volcanic plants are bigger
but impossible to take picture and stop to much people and it's a not a secure aera

That was quite a while ago, must have been impressive to be around all those plants, very cool :)

the road from north ketama to fes (not on the map but best asphalte of marocco) maybe 150km of amazing plant look like colombian on tv an the smell on the air very heavy after when you are proachof fes than become hop for beer lool allah wakar my ass :)

on the ketama montain they are a lot of alcollhik people i was shock by that it 30°c and guys are dressed with a bomber jacket

bad alcool from spain a lot of misery and the military control
 
Awesome picture, musashi! I love it. Also a very noble cause!

I used to attend a lot of ceremonies around here but since Covid they have been few and far between. I used to go partly because my blood is 1/16th Native American Mohawk. Not much but not nothing either. In the 1920's and 30's the Mohawks were known for their fearlessness of heights and many worked building skyscrapers in New York City such as the Chrysler Building and the Empire State building. They did not seem to mind walking on steel beams a thousand feet in the air without a safety harness. Something few people could/would do. I did not inherit this trait. Even just standing on the edge of my roof I can feel my nads going up into my stomach!
