Neville's Haze Mango, in search of a keeper

They look gorgeous,

what were your criteria for selecting these?
Thanks TheCat, I ran several pheno's for a second time and after smoking the first and second run a lot I kept these 2 because they stand out in smell/taste but also a very potent effect.
These 2 pheno's are somewhat similar in high with NHM#16 is more for daytime use and NHM#4 is more for the evenings being to much mind altering.
Not that #4 makes you sleepy but you are not very capable to do anything or to interact with people.
The taste and smell of both is divine, difficult to choose between them.
The 2nd grow was during winter time, this run should be better.

I ran several strains the past years and from those I consider to have 3 permanent keeper strains atm: my SSH cut, my Western Winds cut and my 2 NHM cuts.

Day 14 of flowering (10/14).

Things are going good so far.
I feeded them for the first time with 2ml/L Alga Grow.
The light is at 55%, temps during the day around 24°C but at dark around 17°C.
That should change in a couple of weeks when it gets a bit warmer outside.

Here are the two ladies:

First signs of flowering!

Day 27 of flowering (10/14).

The 2 NHM have stopped stretching, they are considerably shorter than the NH's so I put them a bit higher.
I saw some tip burn on NHM#4 this week, I gave them only water this week.
I noticed that the pots were quite heavy for a couple of days, they don't drink as much as the other plants so I will give them less water.
This is probably what caused it, it seems stable now.

Buds and resins are visible.

Day 49 of flowering (10/14).

The NHM ladies are doing ok, seems that 10/14 is not for these 2 girls.
They will finish faster bud yield will be sacrificed, they both do smell great as asual.

No change in feeding, still 2ml/L Alga Bloom with rain water.

Day 56 of flowering (10/14).

I start to see more and more milky trichomes, smells are a bit less pronounced now.
I will give them just plain water from now on.

NHM52.JPG

NHM#4 still wants to flower a little longer and is pushing out new pistils.
Far from abundant though.

NHM53.JPGNHM54.JPG

NHM#16 is wanting to finish.
Only a few new pistils appear on her.

NHM55.JPGNHM56.JPG

For being only 8 weeks in flower there already is a decent amount of milky trichomes.

Going 10/14 is not the best way to grow these 2 phenos, I hope they still smoke good.
Next time I'm growing them will be 11/13 again.

10/14, 11/13 or 12/12, you only learn by doing and trying different ways. 👍
Hopefully good notes and long-term memory will be the solution down the road. 🤞
Quality should still be good as they look beautiful

Indeed Skuncle, the reason I put a lot of photo's and post of each grow is that it can help others or me.
In the off season I like to go through my notes and the posts made here to learn and see what worked and where I can improve some more.
I do love the challenge and I will get the hang of these sativa diva's eventually.
There is always the next grow.😄

I harvested them at 80 days but I had no time to take pictures of them.
They did smell nice but going 10/14 did not do them justice.
Yield will be very small this round so I will try again!:)
Need my stash of NMH this winter.

I will post some pics of the dried flowers and a smoke report later.

So the light schedule affected the yield that much? 🫪 I can see some pearls in the background or is it the NH?
Yes, if I compare them to my previous grows of these cuts there is a big difference.
12/12 or 11/13 is the way to go with these 2 cuts.

You are right, those are NH pearl phenos you see, they were grown along the NH's this round.
NH does ok under 10/14, the NHM phenos not.

Greetings.

Day 57 of flowering (still 11/13).

Nice progress here, this line has strong terp development from early on.
There are phenos that reminds of haze, citrus, thinner, meat/skunk/cheese.
Complex smells that have me excited!🤩

Flowers have that sativa or sativa dom hybrid look that I like so much, simply beautifull.
