Neville's Haze Mango, in search of a keeper

It has been a couple of months now since harvesting the NHM's and after a decent cure I feel like can asses them properly now.
The weirdest thing happened in the drying/curing proces.
Most of the delicate undertones have turned into a genuin catpiss smell, no kidding.
The haze smell and taste has disappeared in almost all pheno's. a lot smell like catpiss and skunk now.
First time I've experienced this.

In a few weeks I will start the second run of the most promising cuts I held onto.
NHM #1, #4, #14, #16 and #18 are keepers for now.
They al stand out in effect to me and my friends.
I will make a small smoke report of each of these pheno's , I feel like they can be better.

After judging the different plants I can understand why people say that they like smoking this during the day.
More than half of the pheno's give good clarity and energy with a gentle comedown.
However you can really find powerfull pheno's that are very psychedelic and have that knockdown potency like I experienced in SSH.
"Do not operate heavy machinery" is certainly in order with some pheno's.

Let's start with NHM#14, This one smells and taste the most like haze. Has a very strong potency, fairly intoxicating with some nice body to it in the end.
Incense (not the same as SSH, not sweet at all), sage and spices are the dominant smells here.
The high reminds me a bit of my SSH cut.
Nice big trichome heads.

Again, really impressed with the reports & quality of photos. Need to up my game to keep up with the MNS forum crew!

Day 89 of flowering today.

Excuse me for the lack of updates the past weeks.
I'm not feeling the greatest atm to be honest, I can't seem to handle todays world and I need to get in a better mindset.
Luckily I have a good wife and family and friends to fall back on when I need it.
I took a brake from smoking also, it helps me to see things more in perspective.
But enough of that, let's look at the NHM.:)

The end is near for them, trichomes are turning milky and even some amber.
I hope I can end this grow in 2 weeks.
Most bulked up in these past weeks and look good.

For now they are at 10,5 on and 13,5 off, only water.
Heating mat is no longer on, I believe that I had them to close and that this caused problems.
Next winter they will be higher above the mat.
Two plants are far in senescence, to far for my liking but they still smell strong.
Two others are looking very good and smell devine.

Greetings.

I harvested the NHM's 5 days ago after 100 days of flowering.
For a winter project i'm fairly happy with the results.
This is just a quick update, I will go more in depth with each pheno after drying and sampling.

Hope you liked the show, these sativa queens are staying for a while now in my garden.

Smoke reports and bud pics follow!

Swifty,

You have done it again my friend! Awesome girls! One thing about sativas. Some like Colombians are grown in the mountains and at night it can get very cool/cold and during the day it will get very warm. Most of yours definitely didn’t mind the cold and are just awesome. Super Swifty Hazes…with a whole lotta help genetically from Sb.
