My plan to make Stash of ASH

How stable is the SB? I’d be inclined to stay in your own lane and work with known plants and genetics. Shit, Nordle or Afghan Haze, Skunk Haze is what comes to mind.

🤙Mu

Extra crosses means more beans which means more to grow .... win win win imo lol
I know, but my concern is, that I dont believe in that strain.. In the end it is from ,,breeders,, known for.feminized seeds...

But yeah, I loved blueberry in that day, so I will do the cross i think :-D

Yes, exactly, I think Ill do the cross, but I will probably stay away from it to be used in future anyway...

I am afraid of its genetics, )

But in one of my next grow, the Ash F2s can go along the Skunk Haze or Afghan Haze for sure !! :)
Good that you think that way too !! :-)

Anyway, here is 3th day of flowering...

pH 7,5 on runoff ! :( this is tiring... :D
-did some correction, but i think I will do some good ol flush...
-so to balance it :)

Thank you for the info buddy...

To be honest, I didnt take into account the ways dj short was breeding, you re right, I had read it somewhere too :)

If you get dj shorts blueberry and find a male to splash on say shit call it "that blue shit". ive heard shit has berry tones already so it might be a nice match. Maybe improve the stability some with a cross breed to a stable female. Just ideas.
Peace all.

Don’t worry about it too much on soil. Ph is never static as the plants take up nutrients. It also takes some time for the soil to buffer water back around 6,5. If I throw water ph 8 in soil now it will take time for it to drop beneath 7. Soil is in some way an auto ph corrector. Unless you have added too much magnesium or calcium, your soil will adjust to water under normal conditions, specially when given rainwater.

To do less is often to do more. The balance seems to be there so I would not change it too much.

I know that, but I have added too much coco coir i think, so this medium is now more or less cocoponic :( :D

Just right now Iam flushing for about hour,, ppm was high at 2400 that I have cuted down to 700, the pH got downed from 7,5 to low 7,1 atleast.. (corrected numbers after final watering using just mild nutes pH 6,2 800 ppm)

** corrected meaassuring

Dont worry, Iam glad for any tips, you know, always I find myself thinking I got it perfected, then the yellow leafs appear. :D

Hopefully that is solved - for now, didnt grow in cocos for years, so its litlle bit diferent experience now...
:) Will upload some photos tommorow ;)

ASH2

-it still have "?like rose?" pleasant flowers smell
-pH correction seems to help
-did small defoliage for better canopy penetration

SB

-it is stretching right now
-did small defoliage for better canopy penetration
-will look closely, saw one male thingy :( (also, i did not buy feminized ones, but all plants were turning females.... wonder why.. discarding for pollination efforts - theese are last seeds from them bought some 3 years ago)

After the harvest I would like to try reveging...

Anyone who can explain in simple words, 3 Qs comes in mind

Should I just switch the light scheme to 18/6 and wait?
How the plant should look like?
Transplant to fresh pot?

So I have come to some conclusion...

I will probably cull the SBlueberry, it flowers nicely, but, on some nodes male bags apeears, I cuted them off, but if I find next one tommorow and next one other day, I will end it... :-(

I dont want to make unwanted pollination... With this hermy trait... Would be hard, bexause the looks are promising...

But I cannot do that to my only and wonderfull Ash...

Will come with new photos... Ash is really excitng, the male one also...

Stay tuned

day 10 flowering

ASH1 male

-I like the structure
-the flower clusters are packed good also
-just started to drop pollen (so I am collecting some of it and using it, maybe Ill store some)
ASH1_01.jpg ASH1_02.jpg ASH1_03.jpg

ASH2 female

-the pH correction definitely helped a lot
-now suplementing with Biocanna nutes at 800-1000ppm @ pH 5,8
-the bushiness is wonderfull, had to train a bit more
-smells are evolving a bit - still the flowery smell and the affie is coming thru just slightely
ASH2_01.jpg ASH2_02.jpg ASH2_03.jpg

Sour Blueberry female

-male pieces are gone for now, but I will keep watching
-wonder where the sativa is hidden tho, I think that it looks more like some pinky kush plant
-flowers rapidly and packs weight already

day 16 flowering

You can clearly see, one Ash can rule whole jungle !!

Also, I know Blueberry is looking amazing now, but I got a feeling, in some 2-4 weeks we will see the card flipping 8)
(and keep in mind, I still have to take a good look at this litlle biatch, beacause there where some intersex issues on Sour Blueberry)

For me ASH is more beautifull, it is doing very well, I simply love theese kind of bushes !!

all.jpg

ASH2
-it loves watering, getting 2litres each 2nd day
-getting nutes at 900EC @ pH 6 - will rise those numbers slightly and see how it will work out, just for today I have added litlle bit of N
-it is slowing on stretching, 1:1 for now
-I can imagine this Ash for SCROG
-buds poping all over, bottom buds keep up the pace as the upper parts do
-the smells are hidden quite well, but there is just bit of affie and bit of flowers, maybe slightly fruity
-seed bud on bottom, started its mating

ASH_1.jpg ASH_2.jpg ASH_3.jpg ASH_4.jpg ASH_5.jpg

Sour Blueberry **
-nice plant, but should have been more sativa as said on HSO web, this seems all in all like indica hybrid
-dark smells like chocolate coffee, maybe there is c.thai background ? :o ** looks like Kush to me
-getting bigger and bigger
-side branches are hidden, but long enought
-buds forming rapidly and pumping on weight

SB_1.jpg SB_2.jpg SB_3.jpg
**update

day 23 flowering

still very interesting grow, the mix of smells are incredible right now
both plants are doing rather well !!
still blooming under 200W conditions - Iam waiting a bit more and then give a full bloom power on 250W

pack.jpg

ASH

- height grow stoped, so this is good news
- just started to produce more of buds, which is also good news
- smells are incredible, something like apricot-marmelade at first, if you touch the bud, the smell slowly change to some ripe fruit smell, Id like to call it Rainbow fruit smell from now on
- will probably do one more flush and then add more nutes, as this plants can handle higher doses, I tried EC1800 ending up with good results of smell evolution
- frosting just started

ASH1.jpg ASH2.jpg ASH3.jpg ASH4.jpg

Sour Blueberry

- this is wonder for me, how it looks like Kush and smells like chocolate-coffe

SB1.jpg SB2.jpg SB3.jpg

-see ya later-

day 25 flowering

Full bloom power is on
Plants are given water with pH 6 (runoff is 5,9)
Gave more food to ASH @ EC 1400
Lowering EC to Sour Blueberry -> will keep on lowering till the end, it is that high

PACK.jpg

ASH

- good new popings
- the afghan smells starts re-appearing, to mix in with fruity rainbow smells

ASH.jpg ASH1.jpg ASH2.jpg ASH13.jpg

Sour Blueberry

- it is doing its thing to make hashplant from itself
- maybe there are some berries in smell, but dank chocolate is heavier

SB.jpg SB1.jpg SB2.jpg

-see ya later-

day 27 flowering

Stabilized EC for both plants. (Runoff water is EC 1400)

Ordered some COCO A+B nutes ( I will switch to plain COCO+Perlite (70:30) in future )
Only thing is, that my tap water fluctuate in EC (sometimes 300 sometimes 600)

I think there will be the breaking point, where the ASH buds starts massing out, shortly.
I can definitely see, how big the buds here could be, and if they will, I think they will show this litlle blueberry, who is the king here ! :)

This is interesting grow for me really ))

PACK.jpg

ASH

Seems, there will be some afghan spears shortly :)
The smell is mix of „classic affie weed + fruit marmelade“ but still evolving, hope for more fruity destiny, as the apricot smell was amazing ! 8 )

ASH1.jpg ASH2.jpg ASH3.jpg ASH4.jpg

SB

The plant is turning out to be just one big bud on stalk...
The chocolate smell is dissapearing, and the fruits come thru (now i dont think its blueberry smell, but definitely some forest fruit smells - it is really clear fruit smell) points for that for HSO
