My issues

In my room

Hi all,

Im thru surgery, and in my room. Thank you to each and everyone for your thoughts, and prayers. I will make this quick as I was just doped up with meds, and it's seems hard to type.

@@@Listen I'm so messed up I can't figure how to work this thing. So I'll end my sentence at end of this post with....it is possible I'll have more surgery, but he found an issue that he fixed...Ns

I'm not religious, and have issues with God. Yet graybeard. Thank you that was very kind of you. Thank you as it is refreshing to see another human care enough to go out of there way. When I get back up, and around. I look forward to your grow thread my friend.

Now my update: Surgery is done. I had some complications during, and lost alot of blood. It took an hour more than normal to finish, but...Good news is Dr called my wife, and said something to her to the effect of "he found what he was looking for." I will ask what he means tomorrow, but he seemed upbeat about my recovery. In the sense that...heck I'm so high to remember...lol. Yet he also answered when I asked about more surgery being possible. In regards to a domino effect in my back. He said it sure is possible with these ty
 
:)Hey there my friend in pain and suffering;),enyoy the free Government dope are we hehe..I'll bet you need it right now..thank you so much for beeing able to get back to the Forum Board to let us know know that you're "sort" of okey,you know what i mean..still in alot of pain BUT hopefully you're on the track to full recovery my friend...Me like Greybeard have been praying for you and i wish,even you're not Christian,would join in a at least say -Thank you God for everything..Amen.
It's nothing wrong in atleast beeing humble right;)

Trouble sleeping

Hi Blb,

I am friends with many who believe in God. I believe, but have issues. Too ling of story to tell now while I'm not well enough. One day I'll fill in details. Pain is excruciating, but I'll live. Thank you for your help with back info. Your advice, and your prayers. It means alot my friend...Ns

Add: I'd give up the morphine and other drugs right now for a fat bag of Ortega, and maybe MM...lol...

Too darn tore up on drugs to sleep. I see some of my buds(pun intended) here. Some other news. If I didn't say yet. For first time in two years I'll have some good herbs within the week. Well less than a week. I hope it shows me some medical help. I had two liquid doses of hydrocodone today that did nothing, but prolong time till I could get something worthwhile. I am very thankfully for the Demerol right now. The hydrocodone I'm taking up too 80mg a day. I can see why it doesn't work well after many months. Thanks friends, mns, Shanti. I finally feel like I'll be able to sleep. I am by no means a master, or even an accomplished grower. Tho I did educate myself bookends so when I do. I will knOw what I need to do. Now it is experience I need. If I can ever help. I will do that, and if. Have no clue. I will do my best to point you in the right direction. Thanks my friend...Ns
 
Meds

Hi all,

I didn't sleep well last night, but did rest. I hadn't taken any meds for brakthru pain since last night around 11pm. Just used the pain pump with morphine. Well around 715am I got hit really bad with pain. I tried sitting up, and as bad as I've been in past. I cried out from the pain. So I called the nurse to get some meds, and see if I could change the morphine. Not too long after my dr walked in. I think he realized for once I wasn't bullshittin how I felt. Likely from my face being contorted twisted from pain. He got ahold of the dr needed to change the meds. So they changed my meds to diluadid. Otherwise known as hydromorphome. Stuff is potent I would say. Instead of giving me med for breakthru the nurse dialed it up to give me a dose. Can't remember how much, but then I hit my pump button again. I tell ya allmim not feeling much pain at all. Really not feeling much at all, but stoned bigtime. Which is better than the pain.

Glad to see it well. Just remember to stay positive and listen carefully on the rehab. Gaining strength and mobility will be tough but if you stick with it it will turn out for the best. Take care.

Hi all,

Can't believe it. I thought I'd be in another couple days. My Dr came in, and asked how I felt. I felt pretty good. So he asked if I wanted to go home. He'll yeah, and it was even better as my buddy brought my kids to visit. So I got a ride home. I will be back later friends. I have a few pm's to attend, and rest. Then I'll be back...again thank you all for your kindness. Even for those who may have read, but not posted. Thank you very much may your lives be blessed, and your plants be healthy..Ns

Honestly,i'm very very happy for you and now when the REHAB starts,DON'T GET LAZY OKEY..do it like the Doc order it.and listen to what your body tells you..don't get stubborn like me;)one is inuff..well my wife and stepdaughter is stubborn too..so i guess three is inuff;):)
Now we just have to wait and see what your friend GB brings to the table in form of wissdom..

That's funny you mention that. I'm kinda a smart ass. Always something to say joking around. One day I was joking with my wife, and said I'm mad. She said pretty much the same thing. Well you got the same pants to get glad in. That brings back a good memory. We had a laugh over that. It is usually never that she can put one over on me.

Seriously though I'm glad to make your aquantaince here. As well as my other friends. I look forward to seeing your grows, and hope that if I can help. I will do what can be done. Have a great day...Ns
 
So far

Hi all,

So far so good. I'm in pain, but nothing unexpected. If I didn't mention. My first surgery the Dr said was one of the worst cases he had ever seen. Well within five months what had been a damaged area, but not near as bad was explained as this. Worse than the previous area. So I'm hoping this took care of my main issues, but I still in the back of my mind keep thinking my back will go like a domino effect. Only time will tell.

On a lighter note I am excited to see Neville joining the forum. I personally hope that it will bring even more new projects out. Maybe, and maybe not. Yet I can dream. Goodday all...Ns
 
I got some meds

Hi all,

I may have mentioned to so I'd have a chance for some smoke. Well I go that, and first time in a couple years. I felt some real relief. Not sure of any name assigned to this herb, but I k ow the source. It is an sativa/Indy hybrid. Not much taste. Moderate pain relief, but great for my muscle troubles. Smoked a J at 4pm. Ready for another. Yet the relief provided I had been able to put off a dose of narco meds bu a couple hours. Not too strong, but not bad. I won't complain as any help is good help. Overall please so it gives me hope for hybrids as well as more pure I indicas. Bye for now time for my meds...Ns

Hi All,

Mostly doing better, but I do have some concerns. That will be checked out by the Dr. I seemingly am recovering, but at a much slower rate than my first surgery. That is all for now. Time to rest a lil.

Hey dude i just read through your thread and I really hope things work out well for you. i am a chronic pain dude myself and this crap does get mighty old. thats great news about the herb...am i reading things wrong? Or did u go for a couple years without toking?? I find the weed helps with the pain and also helps reduce my need for the morphine.

Anyways this is my first post to the mr Nice forum and I figure wtf you deserve it :)

Again best of luck and looking forward to seeing you and everyone else around the place.

ps Im some stoked that nevil has joined up how freakin cool is that eh?

I tell you Nevil joining the forum is to me a dream come true. Anything that he brings to the table is positive to me, and I look forward to seeing more of what he writes. Some interesting stuff already. I'll try to get my friend to build me that ummm high moment I can't rem what he calls it right now. Water vortex or something like that to do with magnets, and water. Sorry I just realized how medicated I am.

As for me, and how I feel. I can't say I know how you feel exactly, but it is crappy to say I know what chroninc pain issues are like. They are not fun. I know people have it worse than I do. I feel bad thinking about how it could be worse, and for those that have it worse than I.

If I may ask what has led to your pain issues? an accident? or other? How bad do you rate them say daily on 1-10 scale? Let me think this over, and check some of my journals I kept. I would write that down. Ok that is it for now...Nite..Ns
 
SOAS Muscle Stretch

I hope you are feeling better after your surgery recently, and your making a full recovery. One thing with physical therapy is finding the right therapist, and this is a testiment for experience for lower back pain. This can be a hard muscle to stretch, but offers great relief for lower back issues. resinbud ;)

To all of my friends. Physically I have been ok. I have just felt kind of let down. Don't know if it is both my attitude, and my body. Or my mental state causeing my physical to be down. I have been checking out the forums, but not posting to much. For now, and getting to pm's every couple days, or so. I will take a slightly reduced prescence here until I can heal a little further. I truly thank you all for being my friend. Even if we haven't talked in a bit. Drop a pm, and get in touch. I was very happy with mns for many years now, but am like a fire lit under me now. i feel it can only be good that Neville is on the boards. Welcome neville, and goodday all...Ns
 
:)-Okey my friend now i fully understand why you didn't answer my PM.s..no worrys my friend at all..i'm just glad to hear something from you..okey;)

Let time be the one that helps you recover,listen in to what your body is trying to tell you,relax and try to stay positive,look forward by "bayby stepping"and you will come out okey..It may take you everything between 6 month to a year year and a half to FULLY recover..but you should be able to see som progress after only a couple of month.

dr visit

Hi all,

Well I saw the Dr, and again he said it seems that everything is working out ok. I brought upa few things I wanted. I got prescribed a new med for nerve pain. It is not a narcotic. So Im holding out hope it works. He did mentione when asked about future surgery. He showed me all the bad areas, and mentioned that I do have the serious DDD issues. That won't get better, but hopefully not worse enough to do surgery. I asked about recovery, and it going slow. He mentioned that I got hit with a somewhat double whammy by what has happened...well I may be back later...My lunch is done...Ns
