Mr. Browns TLO experience

I'll start recycling the TLO soil from my 'Shark' grow on the weekend so that the new mix will be ready in time for my upcoming SSH grow (y)

I started to recycle the TLO soil mix ~3 weeks ago and there is not much to see. Yesterday I added some fresh kelp from the northsea. The mix feels and smells fantastic
full

I'll use this mix for my upcoming Super Silver Haze grow as soon as the CBD Indica and 'Shittie Dream' are finished with flowering (y)

I'm glad that I tried growing in soil. So far it exceeded my expectation :)

For my upcoming SSH grow I got a 50x50x50 cm fabric pot that can hold ~100 liter of fine TLO soil(y)

I can't wait to get the SSH started :)

Hey Mr. Brown,

These look great. Easy to lift if needed. Will definitely look for something similar in my area. I have been growing in fabric pots for the last 6 years and they are great. I dig a hole in the ground and place them there.

Cheers,

Today I set up my new fabric pot and filled it with more than 100 liter fresh TLO soil mix :)

I added some trichoderma to get the party started and as soon as the soil has room temperature I'll add some nematodes to kill all 'Krabbeltiere' before they become a problem (y)

Love your soil

I remembered that @musashi used some kind of glue on his plants to prevent bugs from crawling up the stems (y) Look what I found in my local garden store ;)

We even have a German word for it :ROFLMAO:

Hopefully it helps to keep the 'Krabbeltiere' under control.

Hey and one Love @Mr. Brown,

I had asked you before about your TLO setup, and you actually recommended some reading material to me. To be honest, I still haven’t picked it up yet. 🤣 But the topic is definitely still on my mind.

Looking at your photos, I was wondering what you did with all the SSH roots? Did you sift them out, or did you use enzymes to break them down so the reused soil was free of roots?

And what ingredients would I need to regenerate my used soil? I can see five or six different amendments in the picture.

I’m not asking for your private formula or secret recipe, but I’d really appreciate a small shopping list and some rough proportions of what you would mix in and in what quantities.

That would help me out a lot.

One Love,
Penny ❤️😍💚

No secret recipe at all @PennyP ;)
I started with the 'TLO new beginnings soil mix'
full

And some peat free soil from the local store.

All the amendments I got at 'Almicanna' (y)
full

To recycle my soil I just leave the roots in the old soil and mix in the amendments according to the 'TLO druids blend soil mix'.
full

I let it sit for 2-4 weeks and 1 week before I plant my new seedlings in it I add some trichoderma (y)

I hope that helps you a little :)
