Mr. Browns TLO experience

Hello Mr. Brown,

a couple of small tips:

I start low with LED strenght untill I see healthy green colour in the plants.
Keep you Humidity up (+70%): I put my extractor on a timer and when the plants are small they only need minimal air exchange.
15 minutes on every 1-2 hours depending on temps also.
Temps of the surroundings minimum 20°C.
No direct fan to them in the first weeks (I point it upward to the light to help spread the heat from the lamp and to keep the air in motion in the tent.

I always like to see that the leaves are more praying to the light!

Good luck.(y)
Thank you @Swifty :)

I really appreciate your tips (y)

I dimmed down the LEDs and put the exhaust fan on a timer.

My biggest problem was to keep the VPN in the optimal range because the humidity was always way to low. Now it's almost perfect and they look much better (y)

I hate all the 'Krabbeltiere' in my grow tent

To get rid of them I let the top soil dry out between waterings and use these yellow sticky cards. Any other suggestions?

@Mr. Brown I've used gnat barrier, it's crushed pumice that you put on top of your soil works well in conjunction with the sticky cards, I hear nematodes work well also,

i found those in a german shop should be nematode depot capsules which release nematodes over time. looks a bit overpriced but i will give it a try and buy some and share how well they work.

Thank you guys for your tips (y)

Since I have a bag of diatomite at home I will try it first. How do I use it? Just sprinkle it on the surface of the soil?

1) BT as a foliar, making sure to spray the top soil for larvae too, or 2) Consider bottom watering while you remedy with dry diatomaceous on top soil, or 3) Tanglefoot, a sticky substance applied to the base of your stems keeps the buggers from crawling up unto your plants. You'll catch a lot of them this way.

Yesterday I put a bowl with warm water, apple vinegar and a drop of liquid soap in the grow tent. Today the bowl was full of drowned flies (y)
I remember that my grandmother did it in her kitchen to get rid of the fruit flies :)
