Thanks guy's:D

Wal I do actually take the binoculars with me to look for Hemies on the Thai's and Laos plants..lol But they are all sorted now and there was no hemies with the Thai stick, just the Laos.

Jonny I should be harvesting her next week, so expect a smoke report soon.
Nev didnt think much of the Swazi Red, but to be fair it wasnt the perfect season for the Afro's.

Thanx Bushy again and again for the enlarging:D

Here is a pic of the Malana Cream at about 10-15ft. This plant has a awesome smell and Nev said a strong high, but lack's character....I think a cross with the Oaxacan will fix this and also make a crossing of 2 pure landraces:D
Also here is a pic of the top of the Mullum that has been cloned and put Nev on his arse :D

Sounds like an interesting indi-sat cross. I just did a similar thing, had a Mazar-i-Sharif, potent but lacked character so crossed it to my Colombian Gold male.

Hey kanga ,
nice to hear no probs with the thai stick ,
be interested to see/hear how they finish up and what the product is like ...

This Malana is a real beauty.

Awesome thread. You aussie blokes grow some real trees! Where can i find more info on the mullumby? She looks amazing I need to know more.

Kangativa, you've given me some good ideas and motivation to better my outdoor growing, so thanks for that. Are you around the Nimbin area? Which areas of australia are best for mj cultivation? Did you win photo of the month on IC a few months back? Why don't aussies care about strain names ect?
cheers

WOW :) thank you :D
have you got some pics of the buds of the thai stick and laotian ?
they are very beautiful !

have you ever try to grow some nepalese strain ?

The Thai

Hi all, As most of you know I spent alot of this season growing landrace strains and I must admit I was pleasently surprised how some of them turned out. Some standouts were the Malana Cream from RSC, The Kariba Surprise which was originaly from African Seeds, this strain outdid all the other African strains by a country mile. The Mazar which is from Shanti's collection, this was the best Indica I have ever smoked and it is not only me that has said this.
But little did I know that there would be a surprise waiting for me....As you know I also did alot of Gypsy's Laos and Thai stick and unless you have the patience these are not recommended for the indoor grower or even the outdoor grower unless you have the space and climate, as I have only just harvested them and it is the middle of winter here and I still have one Laos that is only just heading and a few other Thai's still flowering.
I also had problems with the Laos as it had a few hermies amongst them, not so for the Thai's. I also had trouble with the size of these plants and the breaking of branches during storms.
All in all they were a difficult plant to keep healthy and lush, but out of all this trouble came a plant that is exactly like the 70's smoke that we used to get in the form of the Thai stick, this plant produces a stone that is so trippy and long lasting that it leaves you thinking you have just dropped a acid trip and i do not joke.

Here are some pics of that plant..

its been a while, and youre still pullin em down.
great news on that thai, exciting.
its hard to find doses around nowadays, for me anyways.
if a couple seeds could take its place, that would be something!

Its nice to have you back Kanga. Thanks for the update. That Thai stick sounds so devastatingly fun. Acid in weed form? Sign me up! Now Im tempted to pick up a pack of them, and test my patience indoors..How long of a flower period did they go?

Did you get to try out any of the Afropip strains? Id be curious to know how they went if you dont mind. Thanks.

Thanx for the welcome back, apart from some of the crap that was going on in other threads I also had a family tragedy at the same time and I just needed to get away from it all....but thanks to some great friends and the Thai:) I thought how can I stay away from such a great site.

Hi Kanga L Thanx mate.....I have clones, LOTS:D

Hey Jack ...Yeah it has been awhile and yes it is very exciting.
I dont have a male to do seeds with yet, but I will have a few selections of Thai's to do something at a later date.

Hi Jonny and thanx....Yeah I tried the Swazi red and Malawi Gold of theirs, but although it was not the season to see the Africans at their best, it was still the Kariba that stood out.
I still have the plants in, the bottoms of each plant and they are still looking good as you can see by the pics I just put up...so flowering time would be close to 5 months now:D

Hi ya Hempy....Yeah mate it really is nice to find that sort of Sat high again....better get that grow room emptied:D

African Seeds always said the Kariba was their best line.

Please tell me your crossed that acid Thai to a good indica for us indoor blokes!!!
