Afropips Swazi Red

Hey Kanga, I hope you dont mind me sharing some pics of Afropips Swazi Red here. Im not sure you ever got to run any outdoors, but Ive got some indoor ones for you. You grow monster sativas, and I grow mini ones... The Malawi Gold is just as compact as these three Swazi Red.

nice one Jonny Rotten its a pitty we cannot buy these original seeds anymore. from aces new malawi its looks like aces collectives malawi clone and seedline (they said they have/recieved both) is afropips, with thier clone testing high in thc, thcv and cbd. so at least that is a source for malawi gold although only x meao thai or that bx'd to the malawi.

i read the kariba surprise? desription and it sounds deadly. perhaps cbd could be breed out of most africans to produce a similar product? was that strain ever available in regular? i dont like the ideas of fems in breeding. i think female seeds/strains will be completely relieant on human selection to maintian "healthy characteristics" or survivability. those factors alone will affect potency let alone the loss of the a major driver of evolution (a factor in cannabis developement) the male.

in many cases its the male that drives evolution, or the selection of breeding males, in the case of the cannabis plant a 50% split would seem logical as a contibuting factor to genes/evolution. nature doesnt like to work on a 1:1 basis though its usually scewed to the side due to variation/enviroment/other survivability factors etc.

so yer the point im trying to make is i believe the male cannabis plant is if not as important as the female cannabis plant, than more important, in terms of maintainence and improvement of the cannabis species.

off topic much?

cheers

Ive seen nothing online linking Aces Malawi Gold with Afropips. I recall reading a thread where Afroman attacked Ace over them coming out with a Malawi Gold, and I recall Dubi or someone else connected with Ace denying they were using his stock. The few shots of Afropips MG Ive seen online doesn't look much like Aces imo. Im not even sure Ive got Afropips MG as they did not send it in a breeders package so Im dubious. My first run with MG did not impress me at all. Pretty weak actually. Im hoping the last two clones I have will improve upon my first impression.

ok so i was going off this

Ace Seeds Malawi. Feminized and Regular Cannabis Seeds. | Ace Seeds

and somewear else. i see that the malawi doesnt have a description in some places and maybe afropips malawi gold was added as the description in some places? maybe its just a case that the two descriptions got mixed up.

i appolagise if this is the case, i just thought that ace spilled the beans with the release of malawi.

as for afropips having a problem with calling it mallawi gold wtf?

ok so on second thought i have no idea. and malawi can mean anything. and aces isnt pure.

i tell you what though, ive found many bad/nothing special reports on afropips malawi gold but not a bad thing said about malawi or golden tiger. i was just thinking it was a special clone from the afropips line but now i dont know.

cheers

Hi ya Mr Wallace.......I am sure someone somewhere is growing bigger plants....well lets hope they are:D
Yeah mate as I said to Wal I think these will be my biggest yet in width and possible yield and that is only possible because I can grow pure Sativa's, something that is rather difficult in Cali and not something that fits into the Med line.....well not yet:D

Thanks mate, I will try.....same to u and good growing..K

Very humble of you Kanga, but i'm sure if they did they would take pictures of them and put them up for the whole world to see, like your doing.

I often wonder what size a mature plant would grow if it had a season or two headstart under lights, when you bring it out in spring.

Anyhow, simply amazing great stuff,

Mr W

I would think its a description mix up on that webpage. And after reading reports of Aces Malawi, I doubt its got anything to do with Afropips. There's a member here who has grown out a good number of Afropips, and he rates it at a 7.5, and Aces from the reports rates much higher.

If I find time to find the link about Afroman throwing a hissy fit over MG, Ill share it with you.

Since were on the subject of Malawi Gold, I thought Id mention Afroman of Afropips still has his gallery on ICMAG. You can check out pics of his Malawi Gold there. Not a very dense bud structure on Afromans. Ive got Aces MG on my want list. Its got to be better than my first run of it. Maybe my two remaining ladies will impress me more.

hi kanga
thank you very much for the link . it is exactly what i needed !
when i grew i used to make my soil almost like yours .exept some ingredient like mara seeds(made with cereal and soyabean if i well understood) and mulch for the winter specificaly .

this is what i have in mind when i ask you some pics :)
the dolomite and the basalte seems to work well in such organics compost !
this is too organic in my opinion ! i'd add some river sand in mine
is there a reason you don't add some ?

i can do that if you want . but you will have to upload the pics here in order to keep the pics alive i they disapeared from ic because i if i bring it myself i will use the ic's pics links to attached them to my post (then replaced them with mr nice ones when you will upload them here ) i hope you can understand my bad english :)
and if you're agree i would translate it in french and use some some of your tree pics in the post to show the result ? let me know :) !

cheers

Hi Manivelle.....Glad u could use it, if you read through my making the compost u will see that I use a layer of sand to every layer of compost and when u are using a 90hp tractor, that is a lot of creek/river sand.
Putting sand with my compost is a major part of my mix.
Ill get around to bringing it over soon, but if you want to translate it to French, u are more than welcome.
Stay well !!

Hi Jonny, No worries mate, as Bushy said I did the Malawi and Swazi last year, but didnt find any standouts.....your pics look good though, see what u think when u smoke it.
Good luck with them mate.

Hey kanga don't know if you have seen or not, or if your a member of Ozstoners. There is a grower called "sawyer" growing some tall sat bushes aswell.

Here is his thread; https://cannabis.community.forums.o...s-outdoor/page__st__50__p__335566#entry335566

Don't mean to spam though you might be interested in having a look and for others to see some more large trees, not sure what sat strain it is but it's a nice effort imo :)

Hi Mr W,
There you go, someone is doing the same, thats what I like to see:D
I have a good friend who grew my strains last year and he was not far from Bushy and he got plants the same size as him as well, just waiting for him to get me the pics and I will put them up.
I couldnt get into that first link so I am glad u put the pics up...cheers mate.

G'day guys,

That particular specimen is a Golden Tiger from Ace.

so Kanga,
when they are fully in flower are you going to climb them? if so make sure you steal the giants gold egg laying hen?

remember to leg it if you hear "Fee Fi Fo Fum, i smell the bud on an aussie man":D

very impressive!
Riz.

Lol....Mate I tell you that is the problem with big plants, seeing what is happening up on top.
At least I know the giant will be to stoned to come after me:D

Now thats a garden

great job, lovly plants .your plot has the look of them cali hilltop grows

keep it up Kanga

Cheers mate.....I will try my best, not so easy without those nice showers we usually get during veg.

i notice how much fuller and bushier the clones are than seed plants ,
do you notice it also kanga?
always noticed the tendency for seed plants t o grow upward more vigerously
and the clones to be more of an outward growth ,,
be interesting to see how they rate in final girth, height vs seed plants ...

Hi Don.....This year it doesnt seem to matter seed or clone, they are all bushy up until now as they are just starting to get their real growth spurt and they are branching out nicely......pics coming.
The Mullum is a clone and it has now gone past all the others, which in those pics are all seed plants. But I wouldnt expect anything less from that strain......also the first pic I put up of the Mullum 2yrs ago is also a clone.
You must be getting some good growth now ?? Hope the weather is good for a nice finish for u.

thank you
peace

nice i saw these ones before cant wait for the flower shots.

i wanna grow bigger trees than kanga. watched something on tv regarding dairy waste compost and 'biological farming, might be just the boost i need to get the step up on kanga(starts filling the backyard with cow shit:D)

cheers

Sawyers Tree's

it is surreal to me to see a plant that if you kicked the stem, rather than the stem snapping, it would snap your foot.
crazy stuff!!!!!!!!!

one day i am gonna buy a lighthouse and grow a huge tree like that indoors.

well we can all dream!
cheers for sharing.
Riz.

right on rizladon im light proofing that imaginary abandoned basketball stadium right now.

i'll go with a paddok a tracktor and a pile of shit for more achievable dream. i'm still working on the 'space re-locator', (apparently the name teleporter is already taken) but once thats sorted, and ive mapped suitable worlds, i'll be spending most of mine time on a earth2 growing the hash that you guys will be smoking in the future.

sometimes i think it'd be so much easier if i just knew god..

f'in hell these space re-locators better come with instructions in the future.

cheers

I have to look away from some of the pics in this thread, because my heart literally stops, then starts to beat like crazy. Keep on pumping them out, fellahs!!!
:D
